I love it
- Pros: Very good for my games, maximum settings on Team Fortress 2 makes me happy. Dark Sector looks even better. Crysis Warhead on maximum settings is a bit much I think. works but not perfect, or at least not to my liking. I was able to play thou, I just didn't like how it felt.
Rest of my games are great on it, and CoD that came with it is really nice. I was going to buy that game actually so it was a nice bonus. Made the price right for me. also, great workmanship on the hardware, feels very sturdy.
The bonus mouse pad was a nice touch as well :) <3 ASUS
- Cons: No cons that are worthy to take away eggs.
Needs 2 6pin power connectors, it only comes with one. see other thoughts
- Other Thoughts: IT IS A HUGE PIECE OF HEAVEN
I knew I needed 11 inches to fit it in, but i still got surprised by how big it is. I think I am lucky to have a great mid size Antec P182 case, it has a good layout for these over sized monsters. I would be in trouble thou if I would want to use another one of these to run in SLI. mostly because I wouldnt have access to my SATA connections on the mobo.
- Pros: One word "INSANE". I bought this know technically ATI has better cards, however I have always used NVIDIA.
Plays Lord of the Rings Online at 150fps, some instances I have it 320fps. On Very High Settings. Also plays Americas Army at 80fps but I am sure it is because I had it sync'd to my monitor refresh rate. Both games are set to 1920 X 1200 resolution.
- Cons: Drawing a blank here,, maybe its a big card and uses a second slot to allow the fan to push heat outside the case. But would that be a CON.
Works fine
- Pros: Worked fine right out of the box. I didn't have to do anything past the physical install. Great price when I bought it.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: VERY large, with a card this new it wasn't unexpected though. I actually had to turn it slightly sideways at first to get it in, after that it fit snugly thought.
