1 out of 5 eggsBad card and horrible support.

Pros: Great budget card for first two years.

Cons: Fan died after two years. Called ASUS support and spent nearly an hour on hold then another 15 minutes to do an RMA. I was told that I would receive my RMA information by email and 18 months later, I'm still waiting for that email. Not going to waste my time to call again for an outdated budget card, but it would be nice if they honored their warranties.

Other Thoughts: I will likely never buy another ASUS card.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: NONE

Cons: I have booted my computer up twice with this card. The first time it ran for about twenty minutes and the second time it ran for probably a little over two minutes and it then cut out. I am furious!!

5 out of 5 eggsThe price can't be beat!

Pros: This card cannot be beaten for it's price. even lesser nvidia cards don't hold a candle to this lesser than a top end ATI model. with options of either 512 or 1024 (overkill for the stream processes in crossfire mode) the two 512 models of this card allow me to run crysis on the highest settings with minum lag - I'm talking 20 fps or less - that never happens, but I am using the other incredible AMD solution for computing, 965 Phenom II processor...

Cons: This card beats out the high end 3890 AQti at a lower cost and has new process structures - the only con I see for the price is that it seems to run on a legacy chip - but for half the price??? who cares, b/c of the new instruction sets on its 320 stream processes. the one GB model is seemingly insignificant, but running two 4670's in tandem on my AM2+ board has made crysis fly. these cards, alone not so good, together aqre what one needs if price is a factor.

Other Thoughts: These cards are great. I'd run four of them if they came in a smaller, single slot form factor.

2 out of 5 eggsI should have bought nVidia

Pros: Low power consumption, runs cool even under load, great price per performance when it works.

Cons: I bought this to replace a dying 7600 GS on the kids' computer. Unfortunately, the Lego Star Wars games do NOT like this card. Even with patches and latest drivers, there were frequent CTD problems and some levels developed strange bugs that rendered them unplayable. Went so far as to reformat the drive and install everything from scratch, but that didn't help, either.

I've also seen occasional issues in Neverwinter Nights (original) where sections of the map will be multicolored static.

Other Thoughts: I ended up swapping video cards with my kids--so now they have my 8800 GT and all their games work again. The couple of games that I play do okay with the 4670, but I miss my 8800 GT. If only I had bought them a 9600 GT instead...

1 out of 5 eggswhat a PieceOS

Pros: cheap, cant give it less than 1 star, worked for about 6 minutes, just long enough to mail the rebate back. It came in a huge box that I can let my pitbulls destroy in the yard. They love to chew cardboard... and wood... and cats...

Cons: Fan broke in less than 6 minutes. It was cracked in half in back and leaking oil. when the fan would spin, the cracked halves would expand and rub till the fan slowed to a crawl. This fan was busted BEFORE shipping since I could see the remnants of a sticker that used to be on the back. That was covered by another smaller sticker that was floating around on the spilled oil that was leaking out the fans back. (It was probably the quality control sticker). Anyway, I'll jury rig an 80mm fan so it sounds like a jet taking off... Thanks Asus.

Other Thoughts: I know people praise Asus, but everything I buy from them sukks. It all breaks right from the beginning.
Newegg, you really stuck it to me on this build. My mobo and graphics card stink.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Card... Not so good Fan

Pros: Worked great.. plays Crysis on Med setting at 1280x900.. Exceeded my expectations for the price performance wise. HDMI works like a charm, I've really been happy about that. Runs very cool... when the fan works.

Cons: The fan started making grinding noises after about a month. The noise would come and go, but eventually the fan came to a standstill and the temps skyrocketed. I ended up super gluing a 80mm case fan to the top of the other fan and splicing it in to the board. So far its working great temps are lower than before.

Other Thoughts: I've had the new fan installed for at least a month with no problems. Def happy with the HD 4670, Just not sure about ASUS's implementation of it.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great for 6 months then fan went

Pros: I wrote a review earlier this year and gave this card 5 stars, which it deserved the first 6 months of ownership.

Cons: The fan is running slowly and making a lot of noise, to the point I had to remove the card. The fan is very cheap and it is custom fit to the heat sink so it is difficult to replace it with another. I now have to wait for a new fan from ASUS (who knows how long that will take).

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the money, Great with some modification.

Pros: Fast, low power consumption, 3 different display connections, all with no additional power connections required. Plays games at HQ settings, so long as you don't run really high resolutions.

Cons: Fan is noisy and doesn't appear to throttle. Fortunately, the fan assembly is easy to remove from the heat sink. I installed a low-speed 80mm fan with no problems or noticeable changes in thermals. It fits perfectly, I might add.

Other Thoughts: I bought mine as an open box for next to nothing, and I am pleased with what I got overall. If you don't mind the buzz of the fan (I could clearly hear mine), it's a great buy as is. If you don't mind doing a little work and have a little know-how, replacing the fan takes 5 minutes and it quiets the card down for good.

As for games, I found this card does a great job running high settings on my 19" monitor (1440 x 900). That's with an A64 X2 @ 2.8ghz, where FPS stay in the 30s-50s, depending on the game. I think if you want to run at a res higher than that, you either need to be willing to lower quality settings or spend a little more and get a 4770 or 4850. Knowing my monitor's limitations, more card simply wasn't necessary for me.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Card

Pros: Great card, I't makes everything look very Crisp and
Sharp. Movies look great, nice colors and plays most
games very well.

Cons: None-so-far

Other Thoughts: Have had problems with drivers but that is not the cards fault. :) if your playing Morrowind i found that
turning the sound to Software helps fix it.
