Good Card
- Pros: Works with Linux!
- Cons: 1GB ram may be overkill... No way for me to know, since the 1GB works, but depending on your setup the 512MB may be a better deal...
- Other Thoughts: Had AMD 780G onboard graphics, and an Ubuntu compatibility nightmare. This card was great, plugged in the S/PDIF wire, downloaded the proprietary drivers and have 3D acceleration with sound over HDMI. Horray!
Yet to get a Blu-Ray drive, but no reason to suspect it can't handle it once I sneak past the DRM.
Decent Card
- Pros: -A great low profile card
-Plays both 720p and 1080p files via VLC with little to no problems
-A great 1 GB addition to a small tower
-Very quite during use
-Simple to overclock, low temp
- Cons: -Low profile bracket didn't suit my needs, had to get it cut in half
-Order Generation chipset, but that can be expected
-Very loud during startup
- Other Thoughts: Worth getting, good deal for the price. Would get a newer chipset if I had more room and a larger PSU.
ASUS EN9400GT
- Pros: exceptionally easy to install... Operates very well considering its low power and ddr2 memory.
- Cons: lacks real power for gaming, but good for pics and such.
