Pros: Good Card. Has decent OC'd capabilities. Mine has been running fairly cool 49C.

Cons: Fan is a little nosily.

Pros: Nice heatsink

Cons: Junk behind the scene. Be cautious with any Asus ATi 4000 card you are planning to buy. Ok, about the hardware, it won't last very long (my record is 1 week - the earliest, and 1 month - the latest). Typically, the fan dies (I know the fan is fine, but it does not receive any power and signal from the card - I checked this myself by providing the fan with a proper outer voltage).
About the software, just make sure that Catalyst is the only you use (it has fan control, too for version 9.3 and on). Remove all the smart doctor and OSD junk, and photoshop cs4 or any other adobe's product will be happy.
Don't even bother with the customer service (don't do mail in rebate, just return the card). They set up a VIP account for you just to tell you the same thing again (are they robots?) Basically, you have to spend an average of $15 a month to send the card in for repair (notice that sometime it dies after 1 week).

Pros: This card is the best ive ever seen. It runs crysis with everything high no AntiAlaising from 38 to 60 fps. Stays cool and not to loud. The thing looks amazing to comes with everything you need. Plus I got it one day earlier then marked delivery date. This is A MUST BUY card. 5 STARS best ati product.

Cons: Its big But smaller then it looks on the pictures my case is tight so that might be why.

Other Thoughts: I Wish I had more of these things id have a blast.

Cons: Hot and noise.

Other Thoughts: This is my second one, first one used for 4 month then the fan stopped working. Second one couldn't install the driver on my Vista 64 Ultimate, I even downloaded the latest driver from ATI site. It's time to jump to the other side.

Pros: This is a great card. great build quality. Manages heat well and stays quite when not working hard. Best 4870 card i could find. Looks great.

Cons: I got it right before the 4890 came out which uses less power and it runs cooler. I got mine for 179 so it would have cost 50+ bucks more for the 5890 so its not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: if it goes back to around 175- I will be getting myself a second to run in crossfire.

Pros: giving 5 eggs for now just on the pure fact that these cards look awesome! will keep you guys posted on future review comments :D

Cons: asus needs to give cool stickers with there stuff...i like stickers :D

Pros: Great card! NewEgg does it again, thier customer service is excellent!!. This card Rocks! Good O/C abilities. I have setup a machine that can go from a low power state, to High Performance & this card fits perfectly with my build! Saves alot of power. very cool & quiet. can run i passive mode very well!

Cons: I'm using a Vista Ultimate 64 machine, the install cd is useless!
Get the latest driver from ATI & get the iTune software from ASUS. iTune is still in BETA & sometimes locks the GUI interface. However the computer continues to work fine with the settings chosen. A reboot is generally needed to get out of the situation! 4 eggs until Asus fixes iTune

Other Thoughts: My setup - Vista Ultimate64 / 32 / Xp multi boot. ASUS M3A79T Deluxe. Corsair 800mhz @8gigs, 4 Hitachi 1Tb drives, combo raid/sata, 7 drives total. AMD 9950x4 B3. I can go from a very low power state to Hi performance & this ASUS card delivers. Very configurable

Pros: The card is pretty nice. The card feels very solid and the heat sink is very sturdy. With the Catalyst AUTO TUNER the speeds went up too Core Clock: 890MHz and a of Memory Clock: 1030MHz while running lower than 60*C but was alil buggy (could be my monitor hardware)

Cons: Can be a little loud, if your building a silent system and think that 2 fans will be quiet well they won't. Also wish there was a 1gig version out already.

Other Thoughts: For the price it would be nice for a 1gig version but it is definitely the highest quality card I have seen. I plan on getting a second!

Pros: I love this card, It is quiet on 2D mode and slight more on ramp up to 3D mode. Color is great, thanks to ATI chip set. Other 4870 card I had was to loud and no fan control. The matrix you have no need to control temp. it's programed in the bios and I like the power savings on 2D mode when I'm not gaming. ASUS and Newegg Thank You

Cons: ASUS software needs more work

Other Thoughts: Install the ASUS drivers for the video and the audio and then uninstall the control center and then install ATI 8.12 CCC and install new vidio driver.
