long - man its long
- Pros: Good card for the price point. Currently playing Borderlands with everything On, everything High with 4x AA and its smooth (8gb ram w/3.33ghx quad)
- Cons: Why do these cards have to be so freaking long!? It's a fill inch and a half longer than my old 8800GTS! That's 10.5 inches folks! I had to drop one of the HDD's down a slot and hum the 'get the eff outa way' song moving cable and seating this sucker. It fit in a midtower but only just. At least the power connection in on the side.
- Other Thoughts: I dropped it an egg because of the length is just insane. Seriously. Get with it - it doesn't have to be this long.
Upgraded from GTX 260
- Pros: Fast enough for Fallout 3, Left for Dead, Call of Duty 4
@ 1920X1200 resolution with no AA, Framerate seems consistent right around 60FPS most all of the time. This card can handle any game out right now just fine, caveat being CRYSIS.
- Cons: This card doesn't seem much faster at high resolutions compared to my old EVGA GTX 260 with a core I5.
No on card HDMI port. No design on back plate, (I liked my EVGA's design on the back of the card that is visible through case windows).
- Other Thoughts: I'm running this with an Intel I5 running at stock with 4 gigs of GSKILL DDR3 on vista 64, this setup dominates my old Q6600 setup with 8 gigs ddr2 and GTX260.
On my q6600, this card ran the same as the GTX260.
I have found this card to be adequate for my gaming purposes.
Great GPU
- Pros: This GPU is a monster for the price, both in terms of computing power and in physical size. As others have said, make sure it fits your case. This isn't a con because I personally think it looks pretty cool.
The audio passthrough to HDMI is very appreciated as well.
The only game I play at the moment is Aion but I'm getting 150+ FPS with 8xAA on 1080p.
- Cons: none
