4 out of 5 eggsgood card for the money

Pros: Core 216, Plays COD4 and COD5 @ native resolution (1920x1080) with all graphics settings on high on My 24 inch monitor without breaking too much of a sweat. Looks good too.
Newegg got it here right on time as usual.

Cons: Runs a little hot, but it has 1.4 trillion transistors so there is that.
It's huge, which isn't really a con, just be ready for it. You must have a full tower case or it will not fit.

Other Thoughts: I got this as a replacement for my 9600GT which was a pretty good card...this is much better. 3DMark score went from around 9,700 to 12,950. I have a bit of a processor bottleneck so if you have an i7 or Phenom2 you should expect much better results.
The ASUS SmartDoctor utility is pretty good at keeping the temps under control when I remember to turn it on.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat priced vid card

Pros: Works great with cod waw, cod 4, and arma 2. Easy to setup.

Cons: software does not all work with win 7. However, win 7 is not officially release yet, so not a big deal. The high pitched noise is there, not that loud, just a minor annoyance. Not something you notice during gaming.

1 out of 5 eggsREALLY HIGH PITCHED NOISE ON TWO OF THESE!

Pros: Fast card. Frame rate on all games across the board was much faster than the 8800GT that was in this system. As usual, drivers from Nvidia are top notch.

Cons: Really high pitched noise as soon as you turn the computer on. Noise never goes away. Its not the fan, its cheap capacitors. Noise is so bad I have to use headphones UNTIL I RMA this junk and buy something else.

I am assuming other users either cannot hear it from their loud systems or simply don't care. I dropped $2200 on this build (all from newegg in fact) and spent a lot of time picking the quietest components I could find. This is absolutely unacceptably loud!

As soon as I start a 3g game, or use any app that puts a load on the card, a DIFFERENT high pitched noise starts in. This is a POWER system, with a 750watt corsair power supply, on an ASUS mother board, so this is NOT a power issue.

This is unacceptable! I am a loyal ASUS/NVIDIA user, and spend a lot of money on your products, only to have this kind of 2nd rate product dumped on me because you were trying to cut costs.

Other Thoughts: I built this system 9 months ago, and the ASUS 8800GT card I had in it died (fan stopped spinning and it overheated). I can accept that, as fans die all the time. But the noise spewed out by this card is NOT ACCEPTABLE. If you google this issue, LOTS of people are having this issue across the 200 product line. Most peoples solution is to accept it, and turn their speakers up. I refuse to do that as I invested far too much money in this build, and spend about 10 hours a day in front of this machine (Im an administrator for a few different networks), and a gamer at night. I am willing to give the NVIDIA 200 line one more chance, and after that, I am switching to ATI until NVIDIA gets this issue resolved.

5 out of 5 eggsCouldn't be more pleased

Pros: - Incredible performance for the price (can run Crysis on High with no problem at all... looks beautiful)
- Very stable... no problems yet
- Good temperature for load and idle
- Nice camouflage theme
- I was very surprised by this card and how it performed... never thought it could run Crysis like it does

Cons: - Really big... no room in my Antec P182 case if I ever wanted to add another for SLI
- Lacking built-in HDMI output, but it comes with a DVI/HDMI converter so there's no problem

Other Thoughts: My specs:
- Intel E8400 (2 x 3.0GHz) CPU
- Asus P5Q motherboard
- Asus ENGTX260 video card
- 4GB of Fatal1ty RAM (DDR2, 1066MHz)
- WD 640GB Black Caviar HDD (7,200RPM)
- DVD+_RW w/ Lightscribe
- OCZ GameXStream 700W PSU
- Cooler Master N520 CPU cooler
- Antec P182 case w/ optional fans

1 out of 5 eggsComputer is unable to POST with this gpu

Pros: If I could get it to work, this card would be fantastic.

Cons: Computer does not POST or boot with this graphics card installed. My power supply is 600W, but even with nothing but the Motherboard and this GPU connected, it still cannot POST.

Other Thoughts: I'll be getting a second opinion before I cry "broken gpu" or some such.
