4 out of 5 eggsGreat for casual use and cheap HD

Pros: So i upgraded from a Geforce 7300 LE (Terrible) and only had 40 dollars so i bought this little thing. It worked great after installed, i could overclock it from 590 Mhz to 700 Core. At full load it was on 65C. (No ventilation or good cooling in comp) on idle it was at 45C
and Memory clock at 450. Asus never really dissapoints me. This isnt recommended if your a heavy gamer watch 4 1080p movies at once while using inventor(Autocad program) But is great if you want cheap HD (with HDMI Audio only im pretty sure) casual but good performance gaming and good overclock if you want.

Cons: None i can think of. not good if your comp case is packed with stuff. Mine is but works fine

Other Thoughts: I got the last one! Right after i ordered it the message said "Out of stock" like 5 minutes later. :P I think i did. Gave four stars cause its not too powerful, just gave me a good upgrade from that piece of stupid card (couldnt say Cr ap :\ )

3 out of 5 eggsFreezing Video

Pros: Small, quiet, inexpensive, low profile, HDMI, HDCP, DVI, D-SUB. Audio over HDMI

Cons: Experienced the card overheating and throttling. Sometimes screen would freeze for a few seconds and other times the computer would lock up completely. Found that the thermal paste between the GPU and heatsink was not applied correctly causing GPU to overheat. Low profile bracket is a double slot and requires an empty slot ABOVE card. This is not a good design as MANY M-ATX boards put the PCI-e slot AT THE TOP ALREADY. Poor design and thought on that. Should have been two separate brakets (who's using D-Sub in a HTPC anyway?)

Other Thoughts: I applied thermal paste in a correct, even amount and this fixed any stuttering and overheating issues.
I used a dremel to cut the low profile bracket in half so I could use it in my HTPC

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: HDMI, DVI, and VGA
Runs WoW and StarCraft 2 pretty good

Cons: Video lags when there isn't enough power. Wished Newegg put in the Details that I needed a bigger PSU...

Other Thoughts: After upgrading from a 300w to a 500w PSU, Video is okay not perfect but not bad. Highly recommended

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the Job

Pros: very fair price for specifications/capabilities; low power consumption; easy installation/setup; only uses one slot

Cons: none if used with knowledge of limitations

Other Thoughts: i purchased this product entirely to run a multiple-monitor setup and have zero complaints, so-far. immediately upon installation, my pc (very standard old xp rig) recognized the card. a quick driver installation and some minor configuration to situate the monitors and everything has been looking great. regularly watch netflix full screen in one monitor while browsing or playing flash games in the other. no problems.

2 out of 5 eggsJust barely what I needed

Pros: Cheap with a rebate, HDMI out DVI and an included LP bracket.

Cons: Fan is kinda loud... i dont think its variable speed. It will be rather slow for gaming, but I purchased this for my HTPC. Mixed results since HDMI (as a standard) doesn't have a direct output resolution for my 720P LCD Vizio. Its native resolution is 1366x768, so there is scaling.

Another con is the HDMI audio output on my Win7 MC system is not controlled by the MCE remote volume controls... even though the audio scale shows its reducing the volume. Its as if the HDMI audio in win7 MC bypasses the Windows mixer. Maybe a DRM 'feature' of W7MC. Either way, keep these restrictions in mind.

Other Thoughts: I went back to the VGA connector and a analog 3pin mini audio cable. which is what i was using when the PC had my 8500GT in it. So I guess i didnt need this new card at all.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: It is was it is! This is the card you'd buy for your wife to play online games with or watch dvd's not a multiplayer extreme graphics scenario. Great price, does what it's supposed to, installed with no probs
very quiet regardless of the noisy reviews

Cons: none

3 out of 5 eggsLow Profile... only for certain PC's

Pros: Good price.
It's a low end graphics card. It does what it is supposed to do well.

Cons: The low profile bracket will ONLY work if your PC has a blank spot ABOVE the graphics card. Will not Work on most Dell PC's.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works hard for the money...

Pros: Easiest install imaginable. Upgrading a Dell E521 w/ an older Nforce430AM2 to a light gaming PC on a super tight budget. The low profile bracket was like an OEM swap, clipped right in. Ran a BOIS update on the board before installing from the disk and it was smooth as can be. Gives a nice performance boost with low power consumption at a great price.

Cons: The fan is a tad loud, but it runs smooth and seems stable enough. Don't expect much more considering the cost.

Other Thoughts: Remember to keep your mother board and gaming chipsets on the same page. If you start swapping manufactures & mixing all your hardware you risk compatibility conflict. A little research beforehand goes a long way.

1 out of 5 eggsNot that great.

Pros: Cheap. 20 bucks after rebate. HDMI

Cons: Took me a long time to get the drivers right. The cd that came with it was useless. Bunch of software that this card could not properly handle.

BIG issue I had with it is after 3 months of use, all of the screws that held the heat sink and fan on backed out. Big piece of poop.

Other Thoughts: What could I expect for a $20 vid card? Upgraded to a gt 280. What a world of difference.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap. Fits in SFF case.

Cons: Noisy fan on initial shipment (noisy like getting ready to fail noisy.) I had already clipped the UPC out of the box, so had to do the manufacturer route. Cost me $7 to ship, got it back in two weeks. One more week, the new fan started making a similar noise.

Also, the low profile bracket... well, it didn't quite fit my Asus case. I had to 'modify' the bracket off the failed card I pulled out of the system.

Other Thoughts: So not worth it. Blech. If you do buy this, -don't- do the rebate until the last possible minute. I gave it the second egg only because it does still manage to function, technically speaking. However, as I'm using it in an HTPC build, the constant drone of the fan is just annoying enough to cause issues. Hopefully it'll burn out soon so I can justify buying a new card.
