Pros: Doesn't have a fan so it doesn't contribute to a computers overall noise. Works great for everyday functions up to some moderate intensity games. Well worth its price.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Installed this into a computer i built. Oddly the heat sink ends up facing down.

Pros: I love that it's silent, and that it does not have a cooling fan which is usually the first (or only) thing to fail on a graphics card.

Cons: Well, it's not exactly a fire breather, but that's not what I wanted or what you get at this price point.

Other Thoughts: Does everything I need, and just works.
This is the 2nd one I've invested in as the first one ( with a previous generation chipset ) just keeps on ticking.

Pros: Used this in a low end build for very light gaming and viewing videos. Works as it should.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Bought it as a silent alternative to an old card to add more monitors (Currently running 4, two of which are on this card, other two on a 9500GT)

Idles at around 47C (116F)

Pros: Arrived fast, and works. Plays most games made prior to 2009 and some made in 2010. (counting low detail)
Very good video quality. Cheap! Silent and temps stay below 79c underload. Idle is at 53-60c

Cons: passive cooling.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for, I got this as a replacement card for my old 8400gs that the fan went out on. This one has no fan. although this is a small draw back, i knew this when i got it. Very good buy for the price and newegg shipped it very fast.
This is good for playing hd video, and some older games also.

Other Thoughts: Although I knew this wasn't a screamer, I was really expecting an improvement over my cheap on-board graphics. My Windows Index was a mere 3.9 because of graphics and I really did expect an improvement more than I got. This card only increased it to 4.3, so basically a waste of money (for me). Others mention quiet, but all fanless cards are quiet, so how can that be a Pro in a review? The card does work fine in my Win7 64bit and I have always preferred NVidia, so if you need a replacement this may be a good choice for you. If you are looking to upgrade what you have, you need to keep looking.

Pros: The Windows 7 64bit driver on the CD worked with Server 2008 R2, allowing full 1680x1050 and portrait mode.

Cons: Windows server 2008 R2 drivers for video cards. This is not a con on the card.

Other Thoughts: I ran the setup.exe in the drivers/Vista64_Win7x64 folder of the CD on server 2008 R2, let it reboot and no problems.

Pros: Cheap, preforms better than the card it replaced, and is silent.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Not a high end card, was used to replace a older 6600 which had a fan that was failing. Cheaper than trying to replace the fan.

Pros: it is silent. It is good for 4 months.

Cons: It malfunctions in 4 months. I could not image that. The video card life is so short.

Other Thoughts: The asus is name brand for a long time. I do not think they sold the defective product recently. However, I will reconsider it in the future.

Other Thoughts: I have this squeezed into a low profile case and its a miracle it fits. At first glance it looks like it could be low profile ready. ITS NOT. Nor does it say so anywhere in the item description. Thats MY goof. The heat sink comes just out a little too far for a low profile bracket to fit. Like I said, its a miracle I got it to fit. If you're looking for a low profile card, don't get this one. You may get it to fit, you may not. Thats the only reason I wouldnt recommend this video card - IF you need one thats low profile ready.
If you don't need one thats low profile ready and just need an upgrade, by all means get this video card. I bought this to upgrade the kids' computer and its cruddy onboard graphics. It has not disappointed one bit. The improvement from the onboard graphics to this card is night and day. And despite being crammed into a low profile case that it wasnt designed to go in it doesnt run hot. Dont expect serious gaming graphics. But if you need an upgrade, it'll work
