1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It worked great for a few months

Cons: After a few months it completely broke, RMA'd it twice with ASUS insisting that it was working but it did not work at all so if you want to risk it buy it but if it breaks while under warranty then do not count on the ASUS RMA process to make things right

4 out of 5 eggsLoving my FFXIV

Pros: Easy install, everything working properly.

Cons: I'm playing FFXIV on my machine, which ran just fine on my lower tech laptop. I turned up the settings to max and am a bit sad to see ripples in the screen when I am running. I think the frame rate is slower than I had in relation to the game.

Other Thoughts: This thing covers up a bunch of my slots for the tower peripherals. It isn't a huge deal, but I have to keep removing it when I realize I missed something.

4 out of 5 eggsASUS wins again

Pros: Easy to overclock, manually set fan settings or let it auto on speeds, adjustable slow fan speed alarm, you name it has it.

Cons: Noise of fan when gaming hard, but if your like me and have a good sound system, when your gaming it is cranked up and it covers up the fan noise.

2 out of 5 eggsASUS 465 GTX

Pros: Fast, Good Price, Can upgrade the Bios to make the card a 470GTX, Easy to Install, Powerhouse

Cons: One day my computer began to freeze on the Windows 7 Welcome screen. I spent right around two hours on wait for the "technical guy" on ASUS customer support, and then had to hang up to go to work. Although ASUS makes a great product, their tech support is really lousy. All I wanted to do is request a new video card in it's 'three year warranty' because even being an IT I cannot fix how messed up this card is.

I don't know if im going to buy another ASUS card.

1 out of 5 eggs30" Sync Master 305t

Pros: Card functions.

Cons: I assumed both dvi links would be "dual link dvi" but only one is, so second 30" monitor has to run on another card.

Other Thoughts: none

3 out of 5 eggsFast but as loud as a turbine

Pros: easy install booted right up 50% faster than my GTX 260 definite upgrade, frame rates are banging and it is faster and cheaper than to 1GB 460. I always get drivers straight from the horses mouth from nvidia. I never use the provided disks ( disks are usually old ) speed wise it rocks!!!!

Cons: only complaint it is loud as hell under load. Real Loud, much louder than 2 8800 GT's in SLI, louder than my GTX 260 by a long shot ( custom 2 fan cooler and it was quieter than my 8800's ) use headset it is that loud. Runs hot but specs says it is okay, just use it as room heater in the winter. But in the summer better watch your room temps.

Other Thoughts: Might make you feel at home if you work in server room all day, but I swear this card under load is louder than the average server room. Temps are in spec even in SLI under full load. Otherwise this card is a sound investment other than the louder than server room sound but you might get used to it

2 out of 5 eggsnot worth it...:(

Pros: Runs much faster than a GTX260...

Cons: well to start off, this card runs really hot! uses the gf100 chip, and actually runs slower than the GTX460. Overclock potential also bad. This card is pretty much a defected gtx470.

Other Thoughts: Save yourself the trouble and buy a GTX460, they run much cooler and overclock very well. I have also owned the GTX470 and the GTX460 runs almost as fast as GTX470. save the $80 and go for the GTX460!

4 out of 5 eggsGets the job done

Pros: Runs all my games on high settings with playable frames, I mostly play sc2, bfbc2, and wow.

Cons: Power consumption for some people but you should know this before you buy.
HEAT!!! This thing runs hot i mean it idles ok in the 40s but under load this thing is up in the mid 70s.
FAN!!! Trust me if your like me and control your GPUs fan with software you WILL NOT want to turn this fan up very much because it literally sounds like a blow dryer. I've had other previous gen higher end cards gtx260/gtx285 but nothing that has sounded like this.

Other Thoughts: Overall a pretty decent card when all is said and done. When you consider the price of this gtx465 even compared to say a 460 1gb its a good deal even if slightly slower out of the box. I plan to buy another and SLI them which should last me till my next build.

5 out of 5 eggsBonkers!!

Pros: It is everything I expected and more. The performance is top notch. Solid.

Cons: Installation booklet could use more detailed inforamtion. Heat is a small issue but not a problem for me.

Other Thoughts: Did not aspect the shear weight of it. Needed to make a jury-rig holder as even with the screws it was slipping out of socket. Was a fun side project though =)

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs my games at a level I'd expect, has potentially great tools from ASUS.

Cons: ASUS has terrible documentation for almost everything I've ever seen from them.

First card was DOA; A look on the ASUS and nVidia forums would find a good chunk of users with the same problem - drivers will install and break Windows. Newegg RMA is downright awesome.

Runs HOT. Card idles ~40C, but under load rises to upwards of 80C. Fan is easily managed with ASUS software.

Huge power consumption.

Other Thoughts: 4 eggs for the card when it works; -1 for the possibility that you might come up with a crapped out card from the manufacturer.

Also requires 2 pci-e power cables. Slipped my mind during my build and had to dig through my stuff for the cables to my PSU.
