Manufacturer Response:

Dear Alex,

I am sorry you are not satisfied with the performance of your EN210 graphics card. Please note that if you are looking to play games, you should look at cards that are able to perform at higher levels. The EN210 is on the low end for graphics. If you would like to discuss this further, I am happy to help you find something that better fits your needs. You can email me at cl-jeremy@asus.com with any questions you may have.

Regards,
Jeremy

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with 10.6.8 hackintosh

Pros: Cheap, solid, easy install, DVI + HDMI outputs work flawlessly. Works with OSX 10.6.x without any plist editing.

Cons: Fat heatsink renders one PCI slot unusable.

5 out of 5 eggszero-noise video card

Pros: easy to install for my home-build DAW machine. scores a 4.5 on windows experience index, but it's SILENT, and that is what i want in a video card for DAW workstation.

Cons: none, for the price.

4 out of 5 eggs2 years later, works great

Pros: it's reliable, doesn't use much wattage, fanless, cheap!

Cons: for the price range, a higher model can be acquired with much better performance. Probably a great htpc with smaller screens but this hasn't really been the case for my 32" LCD- not the best picture in high action scenes in movies (HTPC requirement IMO)

Other Thoughts: I believe that there are superior 500 and 600 series nvidias for almost the same price (+/- $15)

3 out of 5 eggsWorked fine 18 months

Pros: Silent (no fan). Worked fine for 18 months.

Cons: Started having problems at 18 months. Using in dual screen setup, one VGA, one DVI. The VGA monitor started having problems showing hover-popup-screen tips. Replaced it with older card, monitor is fine. The DVI monitor started having problems, would go blank for ~5-10s a couple of times within first half hour of a session. After 1-2 months got annoyed enough to replace.

Other Thoughts: In my experience graphics cards last longer than this.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card, I use it in a standard form factor PC.

Cons: This card should not be considered "low profile ready". Not with its huge heat sink. Cannot realistically fit a low profile case, even if they ship it with low profile faceplates.

Other Thoughts: they ought to make this standard form factor only. Now I'm annoyed by the wasted time and shipping to get a card that cannot fit in the case.
