1 out of 5 eggsGreat specs but did not work for me

Pros: Inexpensive video card for the specs
easy to install
quiet - no fan

Cons: Have not had any success installing it on a Windows Vista 32-bit production system and a Windows 7 system with a fresh install. (I had 2 cards) Tried using the windows built in driver. It says it is successful and has to restart. It never successfully restarts, and just restarts. I the went into safe mode. downloaded the current driver from NVidia for the Ge Force 210. Installed it. restarted. It never boots into windows and just restarts. Tried several older drivers from NVidia, all with the same result. Called Asus for support but they only recommended I do the same, or that the card is bad. I will be returning this card. I did get it to install on one other system which I then upgraded to Windows 10.

Other Thoughts: May have got rave reviews, but this card only gave me headaches.
I will NOT buy this card again.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Roger,

Thank you for your time on posting this review, we are sorry to hear your experience with the ASUS graphics card. Please allow me to assist you.

Please try the steps below to troubleshoot the graphics card problem.

• Check the compatibility of the GPU to the mobo
• Check the video cable compatibility or use different cable or use other PCIe slot for the GPU
• Uninstall the GPU driver and install the latest ones. Be sure to select the "Clean Install" option. Get the latest driver version, or even latest Beta version available from Asus site or from the chipset site
• Update the BIOS of the GPU if possible. (Some GPUs do not need BIOS update)
• Test the card to other computer for comparison; (following again step 1)
• GPU is faulty if the issue is still occurring even with other Computer. (RMA)

4 out of 5 eggsGood budget card

Pros: I got a small form factor PC a couple years ago that had such abysmal integrated graphics that it wouldn't even run World of Tanks (which has pretty low minimum requirements). I was limited by the small form factor and weak PSU that couldn't be upgraded, so this card was the ticket, and it would allow me to run World of Tanks and World of Warships, and I can actually turn some of the graphical settings up to medium. The card includes ASUS's GPU Tweak software which is neat, shows you card temps and other information.

Cons: Gets HOT! I left the gpu monitor up once while playing World of Warships. I was getting about 30 fps on the game, and the card told me it was running 70-80* C. Yowch.

Sometimes when resuming the computer from sleep/standby, the computer will come back on, but the display only lights up for a second, says "No input" and turns back off. I have to shut the computer off and turn it back on to fix this issue. Doesn't always do this and it's done it since I installed this card.

Other Thoughts: For as unimpressive as this card sounds it can actually do a pretty good job. I'd recommend adding some additional case fans if you do run this card though, get some air moving over that heatsink.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for sharing my screen to TV via HDMI

Pros: is ready to install out of the box plus comes with two different low profile bracket options., Its Silent. GPU Tweak tool allows you to overclock the settings if you wish. GPU Tweak tool displays Voltage, VRAM Usage, GPU Speed and GPU Temperature. Tech support is very friendly and help you out.

Cons: The heatsink is huge so depending where it needs to be installed will take up two spots, Drivers supplied are outdated.

Other Thoughts: Warning *** Do not use the supplied CD to install the drivers. Go to manufactures website to download the latest driver & GPU Tweak tool. Its a great card dual display using my 40 inch samsung TV. Im a bit disappointed that Newegg doesnt list the Power Supply Minimum Requirements BTW 300 watts is the minimum required. I'm using Windows 7 64bit Windows Experience Index Score for Graphics = 5.0 Gaming Graphics = 5.8

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great, can get hot

Pros: 5 stars for decent heatsink & chip for the low price. It's fast enough if you don't plan on gaming. Low-pro ready, comes with bracket. What more do you want in a simple add-in vid card?

Cons: If you do plan on gaming, this modest, fanless card will get hotter than Satan's toenails in a matter of minutes (without decent case airflow). Does okay without stagnant case air, but even Minecraft got it up to like 80 degrees Celcius in 5 minutes. Crazy.

Other Thoughts: Purchase intended to add HDMI & DVI to a VGA-only computer, and to allow better HD video playback performance. Not recommended for gaming, except casual if you plan on aiming a blower at it.

5 out of 5 eggsGets it done.

Pros: No fans. This means no fans failing and no fan noise. I use these for simple office upgrades. They do a fine job of running two monitors at 1920x1080. Windows updates will get you the latest nVidia drivers too.

Cons: Low FPS on Crysis but you should be working anyhow shouldn't you? O_o

Other Thoughts: Great for dual monitor setups for non gaming systems. Works great for the office.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat disappointment

Pros: Price but you get less than what you pay for. This was DOA

Cons: Dimensions. It is low form factor but will not fit in many SFF PC because the heat sink is so high it does not clear the motherboard on a Dell Optiplex.

Other Thoughts: Purchased a Zotac GEForce210 - same GPU - same 1gB - same 0dB - but it fit in one slot and worked out of the box.

3 out of 5 eggsNot setting high resolution

Pros: Easy installed, low profile, quiet.

Cons: I am not able to set the recommended resolution of: 2560 x 1440 for my newly purchased Samsung S32D850T monitor. I ordered this ASUS card specifically to support and sustain the resolution of 2560 x 1440 (the card is listed as 2560 x 1600), but it is not working. NewEgg is not giving me any support.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible video card

Pros: Easy to install low profile card fits well into any size case runs silently as promised and stays cool even with extended use

Cons: This card promotes 3d gaming however it is not compatible with its own NVidia software nor is it compatible with more than a few first person shooter games, it will not play any MMoRPG games, it will not play some movies well the GPU tweak software does not have any effect on performance you can set all avail items to max or to min an see no visible difference The Nvidia performance software that allows game optimization recording or otherwise is meant to improve gaming enjoyment is all unusable with this GPU so basically that extra software installation just takes up space for no reason other than to tell you that your video card sucks. For gaming do not buy any 1g or ddr3 card you need a minimum 2Gddr5 card or better to play most current high end games .

Other Thoughts: I built a gaming pc with an ASUS Sabertooth 990fx mobo, AMD fx8350 cpu and on bad advice tried the ASUS 210 video card , which did not work for most games and performs very badly when multiple programs are running so I quickly replaced it with the ASUS 7770 HD 2GB DDR5 card and I have played all manner of games movies, and music often at the same time without any performance issues ASUS makes good product and so does AMD , however the 1g or DDR3 video card products are out dated relics that are not good choices for new builds.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!!

Pros: Very crisp images and plenty of performance.. Cost..

Cons: None...

Other Thoughts: Granted I am not a gamer and I have seen the reviews of disappointment from people who are, but for the "average" home computer, this is an excellent value...

Good deal...

4 out of 5 eggs3 or 4 stars

Pros: Easy install, silent, seems to runs smooth. It's a good little card.

Cons: Overheats fast when gaming. But it's not really intended as a gaming G.C.

Other Thoughts: If you don't play games I would recommend this card for you. I bought this as a band aid until I can upgrade to a new PC. It will over heat fast playing games but I have a fan blowing into my tower and it seems to have taken care of that.
