5 out of 5 eggsGraphics Galore

Pros: Great speed

Runs Skyrim on Ultra, AA on max, getting consisitently over 60fps.

Doesn't run very hot

Well worth the money, but they've since discontinued this model. Grabbed another one off a certain auction site to run in SLI and couldn't be happier. There are better cards out, but this works wonderfully

Cons: Discontinued, so people are jacking up the prices everywhere online.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card for price

Pros: I want to make the step into the newer gtx series and I love ASUS products. They have never failed me. This card performs nicely on high settings for my games (BF3, all the COD games, and Diablo 3). Everyone continues to ask why I haven't moved to Radeon yet, and I say if it ain't broke don't fix it! I recommened this card, and for the price it's a great deal!

Cons: None yet

5 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: It works

Cons: It's ever so slightly under powered. If this thing was a little bit stronger I think it would run BF3 flawlessly. However, there is still some slight lag that can get annoying. Either way not a bad card it's holding up. My processor is like stone age slow though so that could be it's primary problem and not the card itself.

Other Thoughts: 170$ deff. not a bad card for that, but really 40 more dollars and you have an even better card, but that's how it seems to work with all products. You get nickle and dime'd to death lol.

5 out of 5 eggsLoving this card!!!

Pros: Fast and great picture. No issues with any games what so ever. Running all of them on the highest settings and it is handling it better than I thought it would.

Cons: Asus (monitoring and overclocking) software that comes with it causes issues with Windows 8 which results in IE and Firefox crashing when you open them. If you get that issue then uninstall that software and reboot to fix the issue. Wish I could mess with the clocks but so far I haven't found a way around this issue yet. Still not enough of a problem to lose an egg though!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Card

Pros: Inexpensive
Powerful for price
Runs cool

Cons: Not the highest end card

Other Thoughts: I've had this card for over a year and been extremely happy with it. I've read other reviews with people having issues with the card, but I have not experienced the same driver issues. The card runs well in my systems both in windows 7 and windows 8. I get high framerates even with AA all the way up in most games. Crysis starts to lag a bit with the AA on, but most of my other games are smooth (Mass Effect, Diablo III, Starcraft II, Portal 2, etc) Great card for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsSuccess!

Pros: This card oozes confidence, the technology is mature and all the glitches fixed. Extremely stable, runs well any game I tried.

Cons: Not the fastest kid on the block but you know that already. Great performance for the money nevertheless.

Other Thoughts: This was an attempt to bring back to life a 5-years old computer on a very tight budget - less than $300.

For the money I bought this card and a SSD. I also doubled the RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB (which I had laying around in the house, no money spent on that).

After a fresh install of Win7 Pro 64 on the SSD I can say that the upgrade was a success, the subjective increase in performance is huge.

The 500W PSU seems to be doing just fine despite being below the minimal specifications of this card.
Special appreciation for the old EVGA mobo which worked flawlessly for years despite being choked in dust, and still going strong - pity they don't do them like that anymore.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: The card is great for its price. No serious issues.

Cons: The card on occasion (rarely) will drop connection. I mean sometimes the driver will fail for the second card, and after a restart it will come back. I have had to play around with drivers a bit as well.

5 out of 5 eggsBought a second one!

Pros: -Amazing bang for buck
-High Quality look & feel
-Cools insainly fast these can drop temps fast!
-If you wanta OC a card these can handle it the cooling system on these is amazing! awesome thermal design
-Good software for tuning(ASUS GPU TWEAK)

Cons: -Does need a lil power needs 2 6pin so in SLi on these you gotta have 4 6pins.
-No Real complains to be honest great cards.

Other Thoughts: I bought one of these almost two years ago when I built my rig and just recent bought another for SLi setup, both came ready to tear it up outa the box and run great and honestly they are very very quiet(IMHO). The Software is also amazing no need for Riva tuner or coolbitz when you have "ASUS GPU Tweak".

Lets talk temp! At Idle these run a cool 27-30c with fans at a silent 10-15%, under full load they are pretty happy to stay at around 60-61 with fans around 18-22% and still quiet. Ive never seen them get hotter then 68 and they cool very very fast ive seen them drop 10c in matter of seconds. The fans are insainly powerful I put the cards to full load and cranked the fans to 100%(loud lol) and cards were running at 40 under full load which is beyond amazing and just shows the power of the cooling system. I just leave them on Auto as ive yet to come across anything that can tax them and they are very happy and run great at the cool 60c.

*Note running cards in a large Corsair Obsidian case in SLi with a standard cooling systems no crazy stuff.

4 out of 5 eggsShould be great...

Pros: -Not loud enough to hear through HD 280 Pros
-Overclocks extremely well, even from factory overclocks.
(I see no more than 65c with the core at 950mhz, mem at 2500mhz)
-Runs everything beautifully @ 1680x1050
(not sure about exact frames, but Crysis 1 and Metro 2033 are buttery at very high w/o AA and high respectively)
-Fantastic aesthetics
-Hefty

Cons: -Drivers will not update past 306.97. Hardware issue? Software issue? Regardless, they will not update. Attempts fail. Frustrating, given that I think I have to in order to access the Crysis 3 beta.
-I get kicked to the desktop in occasion. Game keeps running, though, and I can click on the icon to bring it back up. No big.

5 out of 5 eggsSupported under Linux

Pros: This is a relatively inexpensive card given the performance. It is perfect for moderate to serious gaming enthusiasts, supports compositing Linux desktops such as Compiz, and is relatively easy to install (both physically and from a driver perspective).

Cons: Duke Nukem freebie appears to be Windows only.

Other Thoughts: This card replaced a GTX280 running under CentOS 6. The first thing to do is to load the proprietary Nvidia drivers. This requires blacklisting the existing Open Source Nouveau driver and then running the installation script. It's a few steps, but easily done. Unigine demos work wonderfully on this car. I am awaiting my Steam build and will let you know how it works.
