3 out of 5 eggsGood card, short lifespan?

Pros: Handles my gaming just fine- I mostly play wow, d3, PoE

Cons: Pooped out after 3 years, not sure why. 3 years isn't bad, but not great for life expectancy! I've had a lot of older cards last a lot longer.

Other Thoughts: Not sure if other people experienced the same as I did, or if my case is a fluke.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Card

Pros: Was great price for performance and ran/still runs nearly everything very smoothly. Two DVI slots is great for me personally since I'm not using HDMI.

Cons: It's a power hog (the 500 series in general was) which results in higher temps.

Other Thoughts: This card recently died on me after owning and using it for about 2 years. The way it died and some testing on it points toward the GPU failing. Luckily it's still under warranty for another year so I'll be contacting ASUS.

5 out of 5 eggswas a great card (edit)

Pros: Runs great, no problems after 3 years, very powerful for what it is

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I just realized that this card is so overclocked it runs at 2gb rather than 1. I bought this card for 200 bucks (tax and shipping) and complained about the price in my review below. The price was 100% fair and this thing is a beast. I don't think its being sold anymore, but if it ever does become available again it's really good for its current price of 169.99. It'll run current gen games, but it does lag a little bit with them so you gotta run on lower settings. The fact it can even run the games alone is a feat and still run them relatively decently...10/10 would buy again, but this far down the line it's pretty outdated. I'd recommend the gtx 980 area if you want that flawless 60fps on ultra.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Entry Level Card

Pros: This was/is a great budget card for someone that doesn't have $300+ to shell out for a high-end video card.

This card will play any modern game, however, some may require you to tone the graphics settings down a little bit if you want to play at a reasonable frame rate. For some less demanding games, like WOW or LoL, this card will run fit the bill nicely, running at over 60FPS in most situations.

The card is very quiet as well.

Cons: No cons, after 1+ years of ownership, the card still performs great, and shows no signs of degrading performance.

Other Thoughts: N/A

5 out of 5 eggsWas a great card

Pros: It was a pleasure to own this card for two years. It's extremely powerful for what it is. I was amazed a little 1gb card was able to run BF4 even on low settings. So much in fact I actually swore this card had 2gb of memory until just now...soon it will be replaced with GTX 760.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I still think the price was a tad high. Not bad, but not much more and I could've had double the memory. At the same time as good as the card was it was worth what I payed.

4 out of 5 eggsAsus GTX560 DirectCUii OC 1GB

Pros: This card is a Beast, However out of the box its not that awesome lol, after tweaking the card with ASUS SMART DOCTOR included in the software I was able to max out everything in every game with Anti-aliasing filter at x16 and Multi Sampling x8. I play games such as Alien Rage which was just released in oct of 2013, BF4, and Far Cry 3.

I run an amd quad core 3.2ghz processor, 32gb ddr3 1600Mhz ram, 750w Antec power supply with continuous voltage.

Cons: Not fast out of box, loud as hell, screams when under heavy loads, gets really hot, (last stress test gave me 34fps at 1080p at 80 degrees LOL) pretty dam hot.

Other Thoughts: I think this card would be super beast in SLI mode :)

3 out of 5 eggsSame as below, only 2 years of use

Pros: It was an excellent video card while it lasted. Was able to handle Battlefield 4 pretty decently as well.

Cons: Only lasted about 2 years with moderate use. It started having hiccups in BF4 (video lagging, random pauses), then artifacts on the desktop with random 5 second pauses and freezes. Also, if switching video modes, it likely will not come back and the system will hang the PC. Tried changing around drivers but always the same issues. Nothing looks physically out of place on the card.

Plugged in my old GeForce 8800 GTS and everything is smooth again. No problems, except can barely play BF4 now.

Other Thoughts: It's a shame, worked really well for a time. ASUS generally has made great products in my experience.

2 out of 5 eggsGood but only 2 years

Pros: The Asus Gtx 560 is a great entry level card to begin with my first build. It won't max out graphics but you sure can play all titles without much difficulty. Gpu tweak allows you to overclock or change your fan speeds to what ever is optimal to you.

Cons: The only one con I have and may not apply to everyone who buys this card is that mine died within 2 years. I was expecting it to last for at least 3 years. Disappointed in Asus for their bad technical support. I guess $200 for 2 years is okay but definitely not what I expect form Asus.2 eggs for 2 years.

Other Thoughts: I would suggest a higher performance card to begin with. I'm leaning more towards the EVGA cards now with their great warranties and support. Recommend: Gtx 760 or Gtx 770 4gb edition

5 out of 5 eggsgreat card and service

Pros: Great price. Has worked flawless from the box.. updated drivers. Owned and played skyrim for over a year and a half religiously on ultra settings no problem. Very impressed with Asus customer service. My first build and I got lucky with no problems to speak of. I would suggest this card to anyone for the price, although newer games are requiring more than this card for max settings, but if money is an issue.. go with this one.

Cons: Had an issue when I installed dues ex with the graphics card glitching, locking up and freezing. It was because of a driver problem with the new game. Square enix would not help me with the problems at all.... Although Asus walked me through everything and got the problem fixed.. I don't know much about computers and they have helped me when square enix and also gskill would not... even though it was not there problem.. very impressed with Asus customer service...No cons with the card
