1 out of 5 eggsGot 2 defective cards...

Pros: Good price, my games look good when it works (which is not often).

Cons: Extremely unreliable.

Other Thoughts: Ordered one card that was defective upon arrival. RMA'd for a replacement which then failed within 2 days. This card has caused hours of frustration, DO NOT BUY.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good.

Pros: The video card plays anything I do on the highest settings available without complaining about the workload.

Cons: The only issue I had was a software compatibility with windows 8 (despite it saying windows 8 ready on the box), one of the files caused my PC to black screen 20 seconds after starting it up (had to reinstall windows). This was fixed by not installing the GPU Tweak software provided with the included disk.

Other Thoughts: The Issue has been brought up by dozens of people on both the Microsoft and ASUS websites so a fix might already be out.
Any other issue I have had has been pinpointed to the sheer amount of mods I have with those games.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It looks pretty.

Cons: The first card worked for about 20 minutes. The card crashed the computer after watching a video. Restarting the computer and making sure all the drivers were updated did nothing to fix the problem. I RMA the first card for another one. The same issues happen with this card.

Other Thoughts: I tested the card on another system with no luck.

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings,

I am sorry that you are having issues with the display card. If I may, I would like to help. Regarding the random crashes, what troubleshooting steps have you tried thus far to remedy the problem? Also, what temperatures were you getting in your computer system (CPU, display card, M/B)? At your earliest convenience, please contact me back through email, including the requested information, and we can figure out a solution to this problem. 3589037.

1 out of 5 eggsTried to make it work

Pros: Really nice moderate price card. Good graphics. Can run 3 monitors 3x24

Cons: on the fourth reset it died... After each reset or driver up date worked for about 2 weeks then black screens of lines / death like blue screens. Gave it 1 star because of all the frustration of working with card...

Other Thoughts: 2 week intervals x3 now no chance of rma refund ... Dont want this card again. last time totally crashed computer . Really worked on this to make it work--- no cigar..

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible card.

Pros: None

Cons: I had this card and installed it the first day, worked just fine, 24 hours later. I tried getting back on to my games and I kept getting BSOD even to the point where I was doing NOTHING except idling on my desktop. Sent in from a replacement, instead got a refund. Got me a card with better reviews and better overall performance.

Other Thoughts: Horrible card. Asus Customer service was so-so (though I think they had a new hire in training on the phone.) Newegg's customer service is great.

2 out of 5 eggsDefective

Pros: None.

Cons: I got a defective one. I often can't boot up and get a picture. Sometimes my display goes all weird and then I get a white screen and have to force a restart. As soon as I try playing any game that same thing happens. No help from the AMD forums. Even tried installing it in another rig to make sure and it messed up there too. I wanted to try something other than Nvidia/GeForce since I had a lot of trouble with there hard and software but this is worse. The GUI for setting up displays and everything is incredibly un-user-friendly. I only found out how to set up multiple displays after going thru every single branded menu. It doesn't just say "multi-display" it's "infinity display" or something and just really badly designed. My TV wouldn't even work with it like it did my other card.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: outside of card is esthetically pleasing, RMA process with newegg relatively painless

Cons: artifacts, video driver crash, vertical lines on boot screen, BSOD.

Other Thoughts: Like many of the other reviews, I received the card and it worked fine for the first hour or two. After that, started seeing artifacts and having video driver crashes with 2d or 3d rendering. BSOD twice. Updated to new bios and same issues as before. boxed it and sent RMA back to newegg. approved within 5 days. waiting to see if they refund or replace.
