Can I use this card in a PCIe 2.0 motherboard?

Yes, PCI express slots are backwards compatible with previous standards. But it will be less efficient because a PCI-e x16 3.0 slot has the equivalent processor access channels of 4 PCI-e x16 2.0 slots. Or in your situation, a PCI-e x16 2.0 slot is 1 quarter the power of a PCI-e x16 3.0 slot. For this level of graphics power that doesn't make much of a visible change, I had to do the same myself and when I installed this card into a 3.0 slot I honestly couldn't tell the difference at the graphic level it outputs anyway.

Question 2

I have an ASUS P5Q Pro MB with PCI-e 2.0, currently running an HD 4850 card which is showing its age. Will a card rated for the PCI-e 2.1 or even 3.0 run on a MB with the 2.0 standard? I am also running a 500w PS.

Your board should support the ASUS HD6670 fine, or another brand HD6670.  ASUS website says your motherboard has two PCIe 2.0X16 slots, which this video card will work in.  Most if not all video cards are backwards compatible to PCIe 2.0X16 slots.  This card is a good upgrade as it doesn't need a 4-pin power adapter.  If you go up to a Radeon HD 7850 or higher power card you will need to a 4-pin power plug and maybe have to upgrade your power supply.  Older power supplies don't have the power plug for a video card.  The ASUS HD6670 can run a lot of games, solid card.

It will if it is a standard width (mid tower) case. This card will not fit in a slim case.

I have an older build rig that only has a 300W power supply. I want to upgrade my video card, but would a 300W PSU with older, less power consuming hardware be enough to power this card?

After Google, I did find this. "System Requirements:

Being an older system and all I would not recommend it unless you upgrade to a 450 or higher PSU.  I am running a 450W with no problems.

Yes, runs BF4 for me fine at medium and 30 fps.  Will also run Titanfall.

PCI express 2.1 (should) be backwards compatible, meaning the express 2.0 port on your GIGABYTE (MA790GP-UD4H) motherboard will be able to work with this graphics card.

I need to replace my ATI Radeon HD5670 1GB GDDR5.  Is this replacement compatible?

I would have to say yes it is compatible. However I don't know what you are talking about it being compatible with. It is an excellent upgrade but as far as being compatible with your current system I can not answer that confidently because I don't know what motherboard you are running your power supply situation etc. etc.

Will this work on my Dell Insprion 620 with a upgraded 500w psu ? The dell website has a  VisionTek AMD Radeon™ HD 6670 PCI Express Graphics Card with 1 gig of memory as compatible to the computer. Is there any reason why this one wont work as well ? I already got a differnt card that didn't work with this computer I don't want to get another and have to ship it back to newegg.

I am using the HD 6670 in my Dell Inspiron 530.  I upgraded my PSU to a 450W and have had no problems at all.  Runs great and very cool.  I would think your 620 with the newer 500W PSU should handle it fine.
