Pros: Seems to work as expected.

Cons: ASUS has yet to honor rebate. States it does not accept invoice.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC/Office

Pros: Silent video card with great specs. Use one for HTPC and for Office computer for noise

Cons: watch dimensions if you are using small cases. Normal Mid to full size cases aren't an issue.

2 out of 5 eggsScreen jitter/flicker

Pros: Card is quiet and average temps for me were 31C. Outputs 4K resolution over HDMI.

Cons: The issue with this card, and a lot of other AMD 7750 cards, is that when the memory clock reduces there is a screen jitter/flicker. It is very annoying and it happens every minute or so.

Other Thoughts: I don't fault ASUS for this issue after reading around and finding out it was several different manufacturers that are having the same issue. The only remedy seemed to be to overclock the card to run at max. Not the best idea with a passive card.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat when it works!

Pros: - Great workstation card
- Doesn't need anything but Motherboard power

Cons: - Stopped working after 3 days of use

Other Thoughts: Though this card performed really great, and I really enjoyed it while it worked. But that said, it stopped working after only 3 days(!) of use within the first week of my ownership of it.

Not entirely what happened with it, but I'm chalking it up as a defective unit and docking a single egg.

5 out of 5 eggsVery happy so far

Pros: silent
very powerful for being silent
great for htpc
3 year warranty

Cons: Somewhat expensive for HD7750 card
DisplayPort mostly useless for target market
heatpipe assembly is very tall, extremely tight fit in my Silverstone FT03-mini. EXTREMELY tight.

Other Thoughts: Overall I really like the card. Undoubtedly the most powerful passively cooled card I've ever had. Idles in the mid 40C range, media playback in the mid 50C range. Haven't tried anything more intense, but I'm sure games could get it well over 70C. 3 year warranty to put any doubts of reliability to rest. Would recommend and buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsMostly ok

Pros: idles 48C with 180mm front case fan spinning slowly
expected 7.4 index in win7
pretty much silent, no operating electrical noise either

Cons: Displayport output glitches on my Samsung 27in sa850 monitor.
Ports a little too close to the rear slot opening in case.

Other Thoughts: main reason for this purchase is gain decent performance from a silent card. in this respect, it meets its general goal. The glitches on the display when connected through displayport could not be resolved, tried a different cable and several drivers with various settings.

5 out of 5 eggsquietly solid

Pros: no fans, Asus quality, good heatsink, WEI 7.4 in graphics and gaming graphics

Cons: runs a bit warmer than I expected - 55-59C with two 20" monitors (hdmi, dvi)

Other Thoughts: I'm an Asus fan (30+ motherboards and 4+ DVD drives past experience), but this is my first Asus GPU. I used to purchase only Sapphire branded ATI passively cooled cards, but had trouble finding one in the 7000 series. Took a chance on this card and so far so good. Only game I play is mechwarrior from 1998(?) so didn't bother to give temperature readings. If gaming, I suggest only in cases with good air flow as a general thing for any passively cooled card.

1 out of 5 eggsPiece of junk

Pros: I can use it to prop open doors on hot summer days.

Cons: This steaming pile shouldn't even be sold here. I've been having a hell of a time getting it to install under windows 8 on a new build. I"m also having a hard time trying to get it to work under a current build that's been flawless with an older 6670 from MSI. Either I have a defective card or they're still working out driver issues with this thing. I keep seeing artifacts on the boot-up screen.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Squirrel Rage,

I am sorry you are having problems with your HD7750 graphics card. Can you tell me where you are seeing the artifacts exactly? Is it during POST or does it only start when you boot into Windows 8?
Have you overclocked your card at all?

You do have a 3 year warranty with us at ASUS so please contact me at if you have any questions.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This card really is a gem. First of all it's so sleek and sexy. Then you got your 1 gig GDDR5, 4500 mhz effective, 72 gb/sec bandwidth, 28 nm, etc. I've run Crysis on the highest settings and resolution with no lag and the highest temp it maxed was 73 C which isn't bad. I like the Asus GPU tweak software also. I really think that AMD has an edge over Nvidia in the department of mid-range/cards that don't need extra power. It's really great that this thing is dead quiet too.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsA silent gem

Pros: This is a great, silent graphics card. The direct-contact cooling solution is very effective. I'm not using this card for heavy gaming, so I cannot comment on how it would perform in that context. It achieved a 7.4 Windows Experience score, for what that's worth.

Cons: None.
