5 out of 5 eggsGood card, bad coupon deal.

Pros: Fast for the price. Installed with no problems into a self built rig running Win7. Very quiet for a two fan rig, as quiet in my machine as the previous XFX HD-667X-ZWF4 Radeon HD 6670 card it replaces. Faster than that card by quite a bit.

Cons: The NVIDIA $75 value in-game coin coupon is a waste of money. ASUS is the only one that saved any money with that deal, most of us find it useless. It would have been a better deal for consumers to put the card value into a lower price for the card.

5 out of 5 eggsQuietest card ever...

Pros: SUPER quiet. It's almost eerie considering how used to all of the noise my old card made. Now I can't even tell my computer is on except from the lights.

I haven't had the card long, but so far I love it. It plays all of my games on high everything =)

Cons: None that I can think of. Had to purchase an extra HDMI since I was used to two VGA ports from before, but no big deal.

3 out of 5 eggsMixed feelings

Pros: Amazing graphics, comes with a nice control panel to monitor temperatures, quiet, easy to install

Cons: "Windows 8 ready" doesn't mean you plug the card in and it boots up flawlessly in Windows 8.

Other Thoughts: If you have Windows 8 from ASUS, and the graphics card doesn't work flawlessly the first time you hook it up, just know: your card is NOT dead. Also, ASUS tech support CANNOT help you. You're on your own.

I have a Windows 8 ASUS computer, CM6870-US015S. It came with a stock GTX 620. I wanted to upgrade to a GTX 650 Ti, so I bought the new card and a 800W PSU.

Upon installing the new card, video wouldn't even come up. I called ASUS technical support to try and find out what the problem was, and every single person there ran straight to "your card must be dead, I'd send it in and get it replaced". None of them had an answer.

Long story short - if it doesn't work - don't give up. A new card isn't going to fix your problem.

To fix mine: I hooked a new hard drive up and unhooked my Windows 8 HDD, and installed Windows 7 on the new HDD. Then, I plugged the Windows 7 HDD in the first SATA slot on my motherboard and the Windows 8 HDD on the second SATA slot. I started the computer to Win 7 and then shut it down. I then unplugged the Win 7 HDD and put the Win 8 HDD on the first SATA slot. Booted up like a charm.

Hopefully it doesn't take anyone else 2 days, 15 phone calls, enormous stress, and $50 wasted on a 500GB hard drive just to get this card running.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns Everything.

Pros: Can't seem to stress this card out. Runs every game I have on high video settings. Barely gets warm so I know I haven't really pushed it too hard yet. I think it will last quite a while.

Cons: None that I can find.

4 out of 5 eggsNeat box. Good card.

Pros: Got as a gift!
Replaced 8800 GT in a Linux box without any driver hassle whatsoever.
System appears CPU-bound for all games tested. (E8400)

Cons: Loudest thing in my case. That said, I built my system to be near-silent (a few low RPM fans, silent PSU, etc). So if you have not gone nuts making your machine quiet, I don't think you will complain.
No heat pipes on cooler. For how quiet it is, I guess they decided they didn't need pipes for effective cooling.
Plastic around the fans blocks a SATA port in my machine. Should have bought a full-sized ATX board :( Oh well.
I will probably replace the cooler with something like an AC Accelero S1 (Item=N82E16835186054). This will void the warranty, so I will wait a bit.

Other Thoughts: Packaging: Great for keeping device safe. Lots of cardboard and foam, perhaps beyond what is strictly necesary. Perhaps not the best environmentally. I'm keeping it to re-use it, though, because it is so nice.

Card: Fans have (parallel?) 4-pin connectors. It appears that you could control them seperately if you had the outputs and the will. No heat pipes. Machined aluminum heatsink. Strange (flux?) patches around through-hole solder joints, but all of the joints look good. A few pocked joins, but minor. Various connectors come with covers on them (PCIe included). 4 monitor outputs. Side 6-pin power connector, which is upside-down. Blocks a SATA port :( Tempted to machine away some plastic around the fan to regain access to the port. Partially problem because of 9.6"x9.6" mobo.

Installation: Slipped into the PCIe slot easily. No problems with screw allignment, etc. Blocked sata port per above.

First Impressions: Old Linux Blob 304 drivers worked without any changes. Minor game testing shows me to be mostly CPU-bound, so look elsewhere for benchmarking. CPU is E8400, so somewhat old. Minor CUDA testing was fun, but I don't have any meaningful benchmarks.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, Powerful

Pros: - Nearly Silent; I put my ear right next to it and couldn't hear it over my (stock) CPU fan. Zalman CPU fan coming up next...
- Fast: Able to play Hawken at almost-max settings. Just have a Pentium G9650 CPU, so I wasn't really expecting the world. Very impressive.
- Low wattage: Able to run it from my 400-watt power supply with no problems so far :)

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Haven't tested HDMI or dual-monitor performance yet.

Pros: Run World of warcraft on Ultra Settings with about 45-60 FPS in Citys and Maxed at 60 FPS in other places.

Also runs Minecraft Perfectly, Dead Island on Ultra with 60 frames, GTA IV runs almost every game!

Scores 7.5 in Windows 7
Very Quiet
Very Cool

Cons: The PSU Power Plug is on the Side which can be in the way sometimes, and no Case Sticker.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Installs itself fine. Silent as many have said. Scores a 7.6 on W7.

Cons: It wasn't free

Other Thoughts: I replaced an ASUS GTS 450 with this. I have a lot of faith in ASUS as the 450 does well in what are usually two opposing features. It runs very cool and very silent. Heat is the silent killer of hardware and noise is the not so silent killer of sanity. Was hoping for a larger improvement in performance with the 650 but I could be bottlenecking at my cpu at this point (A8-5500). Allowed me to go up one more setting specifically with the new Tomb Raider from 'high' to 'Ultra' with a fluid frame rate. The upgrade was also in preparation for a 27" 1080P monitor. We'll see :D

5 out of 5 eggsLow power, quiet, cheap, beast

Pros: Runs Crysis 3 smooth as butter. WEI of 7.5. I upgraded from a GTS 250, and the difference in high end games is insane. Blu Ray playback is also smooth. No issues so far. Card is still silent at 55%!

Cons: Please get rid of these rebate cards. Not worth my time.

Other Thoughts: This card
AMD 6100 @4.275ghz with water cooling
8ghz 1600 RAM
750 watt Corsair PSU
