5 out of 5 eggsBiggy!

Pros: Asus branding usually translates to higher than average quality. Reinforced PCB with backplate! Uses two 6 pin connectors (not 8) good for less than newest PWR supplies (although adapter is included). Tiny LED's on card for each power connection. neat. It's pretty! Single 690 runs GTAIV tweaked to max detail, at 43 fps, average (playing/driving), benchmarks in-game at 64fps (so did the GTX 660, but actual gameplay is much nicer). For $30 more, you get 2GB more ram... Not quite needed yet.

Cons: I usually have an SLI setup. This ASUS card is longer than other cards in my collection. I am fortunate that the Antec 900 case of mine, allows me to extend the drive bays out of the face bezel about 1/2".

Tweaking software, is OK, but fan heat vs. power curves wont save properly after editing. Likely will be fixed in an update, but I went with EVGA's PrecisionX software. No hackery required to run EVGA application.

It can make a bit of noise at full fan speed, but nothing louder than a case fan at full tilt (2200 rpm).

I'm knit picking (note 5 eggs)

Other Thoughts: I opted for the 4GB video ram, since in a year or two when I possibly add a second card in SLI, I will have 4GB per GPU.

Guild Wars 2 can make this card bog, maxxed out.. even with AA off. haha, room to grow. Of course it handles BF3 handily.

This puppy puts out a lot of heat into your case. Make sure you have a decent case, that moves air, and can fit this.

5 out of 5 eggsMoney well spent.

Pros: I just upgraded to this card from a Zotac 560 Multiview, so I must say, it has been quite a leap. I haven't had the card for very long yet, but I'm thoroughly impressed with the results it's given with what I've thrown at it. I plan on getting a second in the near future. During a full load it maxed out at 49c in the Azza Hurrican case I just bought as well. This has been my first true powerful graphics card and I'm loving every second so far.

Cons: I don't really have a con on the car per say, and I'm in no way going to knock off one egg for this, but I wish to add it. I'm truly bummed at the fact that literally only a few days after purchasing this card from Newegg, they placed the deal for Metro: Last Night. This was one if the main reason I've decided to upgrade was for the next Metro and for Bioshock Infinite I just purchased. I still have full intentions on buying it since I get 10% off on Steam for already owning Metro 2033. It was just really horrible timing..

Other Thoughts: Incredible card. Buy it, and I promise you won't regret it! It's well worth every penny!

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Nice card - well built, and packaging is impressive. Quiet, cool running and very solid performance. Replaces a GTX560ti. Stellar delivery by newegg - very satisfied with the purchase experience.

Cons: Card is physically large. The provided dimensions just don't reflect how big this card is. Lots of moving / rearranging, and cable re-routing to make it fit in the case.

Other Thoughts: The "included" game requires a fair amount of hoop jumping - quite annoying, but we will see once the game is released next month if it was worth it...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat stuff

Pros: Great single card for those wanting to run multiple displays or single monitors at 2560 x 1440 resolutions. If you're not doing that then this card is overkill; the 670 4GB is actually sufficient for single monitor play at this resolution. My highest end titles with everything turned up are the only ones taking advantage of the more than 2GB of memory available and not by that much. So, this card will serve well for the next two years playing at this high resolution.

Cooling is great, ASUS cooling solution is one of the reasons I picked this one up versus the others. The EVGA model FTW+ is the only other one I would consider aside from this card.

Cons: None, happy with this card, got what I paid for.

Other Thoughts: I love how further advanced hardware is for software these days. You can get away with playing the most intensive games at good resolutions and settings with a $300.00 GTX 660 Ti. This card just ensures that your experience for the next couple of years will go smoothly with no hiccups.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it!

Pros: Runs whatever you want and runs it smoothly. Runs Crysis 3 maxed out, runs Far Cry 3 maxed out (AA @4x. 8x made my FPS drop in the 20s surprisingly).

Also allows me to run BF3 maxed out AND record it in Fraps and retain 30+ FPS.

Cons: Price.

Other Thoughts: Like I said, I had to turn down AA to 4x in FC3 which really surprised me. I was getting frame rates as low as 20. Everything else just chugs along at 30 FPS or better.

I play at 1080P because I'm too cheap to buy a real fancy monitor that's capable of 80 million pixels squared.

My system includes this card plus the following:

i7 3770K
Asus Maximus V Extreme
16GB Corsair Dominator @2400mhz
Corsair H100i
Corsair AX850 PSU

Also, I don't understand why everyone is complaining about the manual or lack of one. I didn't even look at mine. I literally stared in awe at its beauty for a couple minutes and slapped it into my system when I got to that point during my build and commenced to gaming. There's nothing special about installing this card. Push into slot, insert screw, plug in power connections. Voila!
