Choke concrete cores eliminate buzzing sound under full load while capacitors assure a 50,000-hour lifespan: equivalent to 2.5 times longer than traditional capacitors.
  • newegg Dust-proof Fan ASUS GTX650-E-1GD5 uses a double-sealed dust-resistant fan to repel debris and minimize the harm caused by particle accumulation. This feature aids in prolonging card life cycle, makes maintenance easier, and promotes reduced fan spin to lower sound. Dust-proof Fan also efficiently dissipates heat while extending lifespan by 25%.
  • newegg GPU Tweak GPU Tweak is co-developed with the most authoritative GPU-Z to provide a professional yet intuitive graphics tuning interface for real time card adjustment and monitoring.
  • newegg Unplugged Enjoy easy graphics card upgrades using only motherboard power. Attain better graphics without the messy cables or buying a bigger power supply. GTX650-E-1GD5 gets all its power directly from the PCI Express slot, leading to a neat yet capable graphics configuration.
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.

1 out of 5 eggsFried Money

This review is from: ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5 GeForce GTX 650 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Nice small size for what it is.

Cons: Too expensive, under powered

Other Thoughts: I had this card for a little over a month now and the card itself just died in my computer on 3/25/2014. The performance was pathetic for 320ish cuda cores while playing Garry's Mod. Currently I'm running off of the computer APU for the graphics. ASUS I am disappointed in the graphics card that you are selling.

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings,

I am sorry that you are having issues with the display card. If I may, I would like to help. Please contact me through email, including the serial number within the subject line, and we can discuss this case further. 3577235.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Value!

This review is from: ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5 GeForce GTX 650 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Requires no PCI-E power cable from your power supply to use, only needs the power off the motherboard which I thought was a nice touch. Getting 50+ FPS on high, while playing BF4 @1920*1080. Worth the money, great entry card.

Cons: I dont really care for the smaller one fan design on a 2gb gpu, somehow never convinces me that it sufficiently cools it. I dont like NVIDIA control panel software, I had the AMD Catalyst drivers before and their interface is much nicer to use IMOP.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid card for the price.

This review is from: ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5 GeForce GTX 650 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Got this baby to replace a Radeon 6570 HD 1gb and it's a definite improvement. Got Black Ops and the 6570 ran an avg of 20fps on medium-low setting, this card more than doubles the performance.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: If you need a solid gaming card on a budget, what are you waiting for? This is it.

5 out of 5 eggsAs good as expected

This review is from: ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5 GeForce GTX 650 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Plug-N-Play with Windows 7 Pro x64 on GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC LGA motherboard ( N82E16813128594 ). Raised my Windows Experiance Index from 4.3 to 7.3

Solid card with flawless vider rendering at full-screen HD. NVIDIA Control Center exposes many features and aspects for manipulation & tuning. BTW: Default settings work fine for now.

Cons: None: see "Other thoughts"

Other Thoughts: I purchased this board in order to improve video performance on my latest build ( GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC LGA motherboard, i5-4570S 2.9G CPU, 8GB G.SKILL DDR3 1600 memory, Kingston V300 Seried SSD boot drive ). Video was the lowest score in Windows Experiance Index with a 4.3 Video now scores 7.3

On first startup with this card Windows loaded Standard VGA single screen and took longer than expected to load drivers for the card. After reboot dual screens were auto detected and driven at proper resolutions. Oddley enough this card takes longer to load the dual screens than the 1/2GB NVIDIA Card it replaces.

This card takes a lot of room in the case as the trailing edge of the fan housing extends past the end of the card by almost an inch. and the height of the fan housing comes close to blocking the next slot on my MB. No problem as the GIGABYTE mb has plenty of slots and I'm running just a couple of add-on cards.

Pros: Easily handles most of the game that I play. I am able to play my games(LOL, WOW and MC) on the highest quality and not worry about lag at all. I average over 50 fps.

Very easy to install and get the drivers working.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this product. i have had great luck with ASUS products.

3 out of 5 eggsDoes the job but design needs work

This review is from: ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5 GeForce GTX 650 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: Seems to be a good card.
If you have a large case with lots of room no problem.

Cons: The fan enclosure is way too big. I had to really work to get it into my case without having to unplug everything due to the size of the fan enclosure. Then I noticed the fan enclosure is pushing down on two of my SATA connections which I don't like but hey the work.

Other Thoughts: It is a video card, mid-range, seems to do the job.

This review is from: ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5 GeForce GTX 650 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

1 out of 5 eggsbad luck, I got a lemon

This review is from: ASUS GTX650-E-2GD5 GeForce GTX 650 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card

Pros: fits in my computer very well, it is all I wanted in a card. It arrived quickly and was well packaged

Cons: I have had trouble from day one. I contacted NVidia and they tried to help me but no matter what I tried I continued to get black screens, "Driver stopped responding, recovered" and eventually the screen would freeze and I would get a blue screen. It happened on my Win8.1 and my win7 hard drives.

Other Thoughts: I hope that this is an isolated lemony card because I really want it to work. I plan to pursue replacement with the same card. Overall I trust both NVidia and Asus, having had many products from both companies.
