FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
  • newegg NVIDIA SLI Technology* Used by the most demanding gamers worldwide, SLI technology lets you link up to three GeForce GTX Titans together for astounding performance. And with NVIDIA’s track record for fast and frequent software updates, you’ll not only get the best performance in existing games, but future games too. (*GeForce GTX TITAN GPU must be paired with another GeForce GTX TITAN GPU (graphics card manufacturer can be different) with the same frame buffer size. SLI requires sufficient system cooling and a compatible power supply.)

5 out of 5 eggsCUDA & Eggs (New & Head)

Pros: @ DaleA ... ditto the CUDA ... but buy elsewhere, that's what I've been doing for the last few years. Same selection, hassle-free returns, (roughly) same pricing, ... just don't forget the virtual DEET!

Cons: None. Toss the cooler and water-block (verb, transitive) it.

Other Thoughts: 4x Titan + MATLAB + C/C++ + CUDA = Excellent!

4 out of 5 eggsBlazing fast performance

Pros: I'm running 3x 30" Dell LCD's at 7680x1600 in every game....I have two Titans in SLI and these cards can handle almost anything you throw at them !

Cons: Not 5 stars because it's extremely expensive. For being a PC gamer for over 15 years, we are *almost* "there". "There" being a point in time in which GPU's finally can deliver 200+ fps in any game at ANY resolution with MAX details, MAX AA/AS, Bloom, HDR, Tesselation etc.

Other Thoughts: If I were considering buying these...and I know we always say this....but wait until the next "Titan" replacement comes and then drop the cash on those. Whatever replaces the Titans in the next generation will be mind blowingly amazing, cost the exact same, and deliver at least 30% more performance which I believe will tip the scale .

4 out of 5 eggsNewegg's Bait & Switch

Pros: Update to my previous review

Cons: Newegg's Practices.

Other Thoughts: I ordered one of these cards. Worked like a champ, free Assassin's Creed 4 which I have ZERO interest in.

So now I ordered a 2nd one of these video cards from Newegg which they gladly charged me immediately for it and I get another copy of AssAssin's Creed 4 again.... Whoop-tee-doo! Two days later Newegg voids my already approved, invoiced and charged video card and takes 5 Days to refund me MOST of my money. Notice I said VOID... not back ordered. That's a very important distinction!

Voiding a transaction means voiding the ENTIRE transaction unless the buyer approves a partial void/refund.

This card is advertised as $999.99 and you get a worthless Assassin's Creed 4 game for FREE

So Newegg sells me and charges me for one of these video cards even though they are out of stock. And by the way the card's webpage showed in-stock 5 seconds before I hit the purchase button. Couple days later they VOID my transaction but only refund $946.14 (cost of card plus shipping). They KEEP $59.99 for the post card serial number for Assassin's Creed 4 game. Just got it today. Haven't opened the bubble mailer but my 600 lumen flashlight reveals a post card sized card inside.

SOoooo.... Newegg baits people into buying a particular video card with offers of free games with them. People order the video card and all they get is the "Free" game serial number because the video card is out of stock. But Newegg sends the supposedly FREE game to you instead of voiding the ENTIRE order and voids the video card purchase only and only refunds the cost of the video card and then CHARGES YOU $59.99 for a free game.

A game card download serial number exactly like the one you can get on A-zon for $29.99.

And curiously when you do a search for "Assassin's Creed IV or 4" on Newegg' it isn't even listed/available for purchase.

But now here's the big catch... I already have this game which I will never play from my first Titan card. Now I have a second copy of the same worthless game and I had to pay $59.99 for this second one.

NOW if this card ever comes back into stock guess what? I order it again and I'll end up with a third copy of this useless game! AND I'll get to pay full price again too for the video card.

Where Newegg, is my refund for this post card with a serial number on it. I don't want it, never ordered it. I ordered a video card... not a game.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card/Newegg very shady practices when I try to buy a 2nd card.

Pros: Best card you can buy... not much else to say!
Nicely quiet.

Cons: Price. Not being able to keep it in stock.

Other Thoughts: BEWARE! I tried to order another of these cards after Newegg's auto-notify sent me a message saying it was back in stock. So I go and order one immediately. Everything was fine, payment charged fine. Invoiced and all. Just like normal. Then a couple days later I get a message from Newegg saying the item is out of stock again and I will not be getting mine as ordered! They will issue me a refund in 3 to 5 business days.

Now for Newegg's shady practice. This video card supposedly comes with a free full version of Assassin's Creed 4 when you purchase this video card. HOWEVER when you look at the invoice as well as your credit card statement you will see TWO charges for this ONE item. What Newegg does is charge you $946.14 (includes shipping) for the video card and 59.99 for the Assassin's creed 4 (a game I have ZERO interest in). I went to Newegg to buy a video card... Not some game I'll never play. If I wanted Assassin's Creed anything, I would buy it myself.

So what does Newegg do? They Issue a partial refund on the video card but charge you $59.99 for the game. A game I wouldn't play if you gave it to me. I was buying a video card...HOW did I end up with a game I have no interest in and having to pay for that game?

Simple... Newegg does what it has done to me.

I went to Newegg to get a video card and ended up being lied to and sent a game I never ordered and being charged for said non-wanted game.

Basically Newegg sent me a message saying the video card you want is in stock now and comes with a free game. Showed as in-stock 5 seconds before I hit the purchase button during checkout. So I order the card, Newegg creates the invoice, CHARGES my credit card ... apparently before checking their stock levels. I mean if you are out of stock in the system how does the system even left you order an out of stock item? How do you justify charging my credit card if the item is out of stock? Then you void my order, tell me you are going to refund my money which I haven't seen yet and you only refund the amount for the video card and charge me $59.99 for a game I never wanted and you SHIPPED the game already.

The Better Business Bureau WILL be getting a copy of this issue rest assured!

Newegg advertises A Single item, a video card, for $999.99 but when you order one they create TWO invoices. one for the item you want... the video card. The second invoice is for some game you could care less about and they charge you $59.99 for a game that's advertised as free with this card. So by Newegg's own practices I should be able to buy this video card ONLY for $946.14. The game obviously isn't free cause I have been charged for a copy of it at $59.99!!

Lastly it will be very interesting what Newegg sends me for my $59.99. I have already purchased one of these video cards and the "free" game is a simple paper card with a serial number on it. You use the number to download the game.

Shame on you Newegg... I have lost a lot of t

3 out of 5 eggsDisapointed

Pros: -amazing FPS dose seem to take a few to get warmed up and dose fluctuate alot despite no real change in game play environment
-looks nice

Cons: -cost
-horribly made, tech support is clueless... the first one I received had no HDMI audio listed in the playback menu.
I called ASUS tech support who told me it was broken and to return it... so I did so and was without a card for a month I received my new card while deployed. Installed it when I got home and it had the same issue. I toyed with the drivers for a few hours and got it to work. I went to plug an HDMI cord into the back and the two retention prongs on the bottom folded into the cards slot so now i cannot use the HDMI port on the card and its past the 30 day return.
- both cards will get thin multi colored lines now and then on the screen when using HDMI might be bad contact with the cable. only seems to happen when idle on the desktop

Other Thoughts: -if you buy this don't bother with their tech support, odds are you know more than they do anyway.

-be overly careful with the HDMI port as the retention prongs are designed horribly and stand a good chance of folding in on you.

I have always associated ASUS with quality. But with the last few items i have received from them that mind set is rapidly changing.

5 out of 5 eggsBeast

Pros: 6gb vram
Software layout
Runs any game I throw at it
Skyrim with 2.4gb of problem
Temps (under load)
Runs every game on ULTRA

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: There are other competitive cards on the market that provide similar performance. I bought this card a while ago and it runs everything no problem. I have a dual monitor setup (soon to be three) and no performance issues whatsoever.

1 out of 5 eggsreceived a used card

Pros: Card is great I don't see much difference between this & other top cards by both nvidia and ati. At least not notable diff to ask this price. Given the volume of cheating/lag in mutliplayer gaming these days you aren't going to cash in on any notable difference. Anyone who says otherwise is benefiting somehow and handing you a line.

Cons: Level of service received from newegg which is technically not related to card itself. Card is overpriced in my opinion but I think they all are when they first come out.

Other Thoughts: I was going to sli this with another but newegg sent second card used and missing cables plus manual. I got on phone and waited over 30 minutes on hold. RMA was created and instead of newegg immediately sending a replacement they instead wanted to receive the old first. Naturally the prepaid label was standard ground and took an entire week. By the time newegg received it card was out of stock so they switched it to a refund without telling me. If that isn't bad enough they didn't even refund the correct amount and instead only refunded $800. I logged into system and it reflected a discount of $200 for some odd description. I'm sorry how exactly is it a discount if I'm being charged for it!? lol I called newegg and again waited on hold for over 30 minutes. By the time i got through guy agreed it was an error. He issued a credit for the difference but as I explained to him this should have been handled differently. For starters newegg should have sent out the replacement immediately for my trouble. Instead they made me wait an entire week and to make matters worse they didn't hold one from existing stock at the time for this rma. Guy on phone agreed it was handled improperly and apologized. He issued a credit of $50 for my trouble. When I look at in hindsight I still think a $50 credit is inadequate because I lost an entire week not to mention all the time and trouble I wasted on hold. Oh the frustration part of it by having your expectations completely crushed right before Christmas is something in and of itself. Now I have to wait again for this card to be delivered as I had to order it from a completely different provider. Total nonsense! Heck it is more of a Christmas present to get yourself nothing for the holiday and spare yourself this kind of trouble. lol Attention newegg if you ever wonder why your business is declining in the future perhaps cases like this one have something to do with it!? I mean my wife spends money like we're printing it in the basement and I'm certainly going to remember this experience.
