5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Great performance for the price. I originally selected this card because it had four outs on the back of it, and I was pleased when I was finally able to realize my dream of having far more screen real estate than one man really has any right to.
I play the occasional computer game, and was also pretty impressed with how well it handles itself on some of the higher level graphics settings.

Cons: I've run into a few display glitches where my monitors will go black for a moment or two since installing. Nothing more than an annoyance, and I'm pretty sure that if I took the time to reinstall the drivers that came with it that I could solve the problem myself, so no points lost there.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat for the price

Pros: worked great for games like battlefield or assassins creed IV , fans worked very well to keep it cool and were pretty quiet compared to others

Cons: all though it worked on battlefield and assassins creed i didnt play on the highest available setting and it also struggled sometimes while doing huge battle in games like rome total war 2 .

Other Thoughts: only reason i ever got rid of this card was when i spilled coffee on it , needed an upgrade too i guess

5 out of 5 eggsDecent for price point

Pros: Has performed very well for me now for some time driving a single monitor with good looking FPS (for me).
With this I don't feel the need to upgrade.
Just put a 27" monitor with HDMI connection to it and an still very pleased.
No fan failures yet

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I can't say how many GPU fan failures I see so having this one with twin fans still operational, that's a plus.
I've used several different cards in this price range and would recommend this particular card over others.

2 out of 5 eggsASUS - Bad card?

Pros: Unknown really, I have yet to be able to see what the card can do.

Cons: I am getting constant driver error out of this. I have tried a ton of drivers (while using a driver cleaner to ensure that it is a clean install). Heck, I have even installed a different version of windows 7 and it still gives me the errors. I have checked everything hardware related IE memory, HD etc and all is good. I try to play WoW (yes, a non graphic intensive game) and it crashes about every 5 minutes with a black screen.

Through their tech support and Geforce's as well it's determined that I probably got a bad card. Hoping I can do an RMA.

Other Thoughts: I am a fan of both Geforce and ASUS. Really hoping to see what this card can do.

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings,

Apart of your review response I believe explains the problem, I think the system might be having a driver conflict. If possible, please install a fresh copy of Windows and then only install the latest drivers for this card. This should resolve the issues you are having. Should you need any assistance, please let me know through email. 3684178.

Regards,

Mark

5 out of 5 eggsGood card, great price.

Pros: Simple to install, low wattage PSU runs it perfectly, ESO PTS looks unbelievable on ultra high settings.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've been beta testing ESO on the private test server since January but my 2 year old Dell XPS couldn't do better than medium settings. I doubled my RAM to 16gb and (after a lot of research) bought this card for an upgrade. My stock 460w PSU runs this without any problems. I really don't think it could have been any easier to install. It took a couple of minutes to update the drivers so the overall time from installing the card to ultra settings was maybe 5 mins? Now I'm ready for launch day!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Upgraded from an old Geforce GT 610... no words can explain the amount of difference. The card is smooth in the graphics and resolution. Also, tested this card with FurMark and the highest temperature it got to was 73C with only 51% fan usage. Needless to say, it is a very robust card and should be sufficient for most uses.

Cons: Cant use HDMI port with Diablo 3. Although I have verified that the card is not bad and it is some sort of compatibility issue with Diablo 3 it is still kinda of disappointing, but DVI works well for this game. Other than that I can use HDMI on all my other games, so this isnt something to lose a rating point over, just a general awareness for others who might have this issue with this game.

5 out of 5 eggsHas met any game thrown at it

Pros: Has handled every game thrown at it with no problems, will continue to purchase gtx series cards in the future. Quality drivers and compatibility among many games, never blue screened or experienced artifacts, no overheating with stock settings.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsUpgrade to Asus GTX 650 TI OC 2GD5

Pros: I was rocking an ATI 6570 before I received this card. I can now finally play all my games on high or better resolution. Which now makes playing video games on my PC far more enjoyable.
The price for this card wasn't bad, it could have been a bit cheaper. Seeing as this card isn't out of stock on NICX, Canada Computers, etc...

Cons: When I opened the Anti static bag, I found not scratch marks but rather marks that look like an eraser had gone over the bottom of the circuit board. This sent up some flags for me that this card might be a referb. Put the card in, booted the system back up. I got no beep codes, I got default screen resolution and all was good in the world.
The only other con was how long it took Newegg to process this order, then how long it to Purolator. I can't blame Purolator for that though. I'm not going to strike any eggs off for this though, as I got the card in one piece (minus the eraser marks).

Other Thoughts: Over all for this card not being a Titan/ top of the line card, it's a pretty nice card. It has handled every game I've thrown at it; BF 4, SC 2, Diablo 3, LoL, Marvel Heros, FF XIV (which by the way looks better on the PC then PS 3), and finally ESO (beta).
