DirectCU II with SSU Thermal Design
Comprising two "S" and one "U" shapes, the DirectCU II with SSU heatpipes are precisely shaped for optimal efficiency and heat transference. Now with their mid-section placed directly over the GPU, this design creates bi-directional flow and shortens heat transfer distance - doubling cooling capacity while maintaining the same size and footprint of existing graphics card cooling solution. This award-winning combination delivers 20% cooler and 2X quieter operations.
Dual Dust-Proof Fans
DirectCU II thermal assembly is further chilled by dual high-performance fans to generate direct airflow onto the large aluminum heatsink to efficiently dissipate heat. Each fan has been carefully tested and fine-tuned to minimize noise even under a full load. Each fan uses a dust-proof design to reduce dust and debris accumulation for increased reliability and improved performance.
High-conductivity copper used in heatpipe formulation creates tube-like vapor chambers, moving heat to a large aluminum heatsink that features extended fins for multiple points of dissipation. The assembly is further chilled by two high performance but carefully-tuned and sound-dampened fans for faster and quieter cooling.
Super Alloy Power
ASUS exclusive Super Alloy Power utilizes specially formulated alloy inside power delivery components to provide a more stable and quieter operation compared to reference design. The specially formulated alloy is highly-magnetic, heat-resistant and anti-corrosive. Super Alloy Power can increase lifespan 2.5 times while operating up to 35 degrees cooler. With Super Hybrid Engine to intelligently monitor and control power management, Super Alloy Power graphics cards are able to deliver up to a 15% performance boost.
Digi + VRM
The application of DIGI+VRM integrates a 10-phase digital power design with digital voltage regulators to minimize power noise level by 30% and enhance power efficiency by 15%. Digi + VRM is designed with wider voltage modulation tolerance to improve overall stability as well as increase overclocking potential.
