5 out of 5 eggsBeast GPU

Pros: This gpu has made my computer the beast it is. It runs practically any game at ultra with constant 80+ frames per second. Its no TI but its definitely good enough. I couldn't be anything but happy with this purchase.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It gets the job done reliably and quietly.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card!

Pros: VERY fast card!
At stock clocks this card stays at about 71 MAX
Overclocked to +150 Card his 78 max
Back Plate
Very quiet!

Cons: Preatty Big, make sure it can fit in your case.
Also I don't like how the power cables have to plug in on the top. It causes more strain than i would like on my power cables when the side panel is on. Would rather have them o the side.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend this card!

5 out of 5 eggsThis card is DABOMB

Pros: Overclocked this card to 200MHZ+
Overclocked memory to 1000MHZ+
Card is so well cooled, fan never has to go full speed
Been playing like every game known to man on 6050x1080 (3 screens with bezel correction) MAX SETTINGS with single card!
Card comes with built in Asus overclocking utility.
All you have to do is move a slider to the right.
EASY.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Well since NVIDIA decided they were gonna delay the 800 series into 2015, and the price of this dropped, I decided it was time to buy another for SLI :). Seeing as two cards in SLI from previous generation easily beat the following generation I should be good for all games til at least late 2016.

Or let's put it this way. Since this card easily overclocks way better than a TITAN. I'm playing games with performance that is better than 2 TITANS in SLI for less than a single TITAN CARD!

3 out of 5 eggsWorks Great, Mostly

Pros: Fast
Runs modern games at max settings
Runs modern games at 144hz easily

Cons: Even with this card there's lag with windows aero on W7. I have two monitors connected, which this card should handle perfectly fine seeing as onboard graphics could handle it. But, for some unknown reason, windows lags. Dragging windows, opening them, closing them, it all lags and I can't figure out why. My laptop, with a 2 year old dedicated amd gpu, can run 2 monitors fine and experience no lag. But for some godforsaken reason this card lags with two monitors. I can't even watch a movie, even with one monitor off the movie is choppy and lags too. I have all my settings set to performance, all the drivers, I've done everything possible and for the life of me cannot figure out whats wrong. It's bewildering. And extremely disappointing. And the thing is, the card runs games fine, but it can't handle windows aero or a movie playing when my 2 year old laptop can handle games AND a movie at the same time. It's a mystery to me and I honestly regret the purchase. I thought of RMA'ing, but then I have no video card for who knows how long. It works in games, but that seems to be it. The only reason it doesn't have one egg is because it performs in games.

Other Thoughts: Would not reccommend, would not buy again. I would choose either a competitor or possibly an AMD chipset over this. Extremely disappointed considering the price and what I get.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

I do apologize that you are having issues with your GPU. Have you tested the GPU in another unit to verify that it is hardware related and not a driver issue? Very odd that it would game without issue yet have other problems. Please contact me through email and I would be happy to assist you. In addition, please provide me with what troubleshooting steps you have tried so far including your reference number within the subject line. Thank you. Cs#N140718908

2 out of 5 eggsHorrid Product!

Pros: This card in all directions looks sleek and will tempt you in every way to find its way into your cart for purchase. Puts out a great picture when you are not in a game, Low heat output, or watching movies "Streaming, etc". I have owned this since February 24, 2014. Now onto the rest of my discoveries.

Cons: The shroud is huge and can potentially interfere with your case if you have clips instead of screws holding your card in the bracketing. Out of game it is comepletely fine and runs everything spectacular with a bit of lag at times.Ever since I have yet to see the full performance. For some odd reason this card not only has low FPS and lag issues this card has left me wondering what in the hell did I buy! Hitting on the subject of lag for this card in specifics "Explosions, high streaming, and random pixelization with coarse and an uneasy feeling in the shadows. This card is notorious for low performance.

Other Thoughts: I do not recommend this card to anyone who desires performance. If I had to put a level equivalent on this product it would be that of a 460 superclocked and lower than a 7770 Radeon. Performance of the 7770 fps in game hit 310 where the 780 hit a whopping 119... The 460 mind you hit 132 "In the same ball park. Please consider this might be a need in the haystack and I received the needle, but to save yourself some headache I would refrain from this card and look elsewhere on the market

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings Pariah,

I do apologize that you have had issues with your card in the past. Did you RMA it as of yet? I would be happy to take a look at it if you havent RMA'd it yet. Please contact me through email and provide me with what troubleshooting steps you have tried so far including your reference number within the subject line, and we can discuss this case further. Thank you. Cs#N140712151

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: 1. Back plate. A lot of companies focus on making the 'front' of a video card fancy, but leave the PCB on the 'rear' exposed. Not only is the rear on 'top' in most PCs (so the most visible), but I like having that armor there to add another layer of protection.
2. Quiet. At full load I don't hear the fans (aside from a bit of air moving).
3. No issues with SLI so far.

Cons: 0

5 out of 5 eggsThe BIG Cheese

Pros: Handles anything I throw at it, stays cool under heavy processing, increased my gaming enjoyment 10 fold

Cons: I almost needed a bigger case...

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from a somewhat decent 650ti ASUS GPU to the big cheese as I like to refer to it. (Mainly because I had to rearrange my mid tower gaming case just to get it to fit in the correct PCIe slot.) This card is huge, it dwarfs a lot of cards because it is so beefed up with the heavy duty cooler ASUS slapped on it. Probably my most graphic intense game is a very modded out Skyrim, now with close to 80 mods running together. My FPS averages 40-50 in most spots. I get some lag here and there but I think that is more mod bugs than GPU performance. I was considering the cheaper 770 but I am glad I future proofed and went with the 780. Excellent GPU and I can't wait for more graphic intense games to come out to try it with.

5 out of 5 eggsGaming goodness!

Pros: 3GB Vram
Very Quiet, even with fans above 75%
Runs very Cool
Handles any game I have tried so far.
Love the way it looks.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is my first time buying a high-end video card within a few months of release. Best gaming decision that I have made! In the past I would wait for deals on decent video cards, but they were never quite powerful enough to run newer games like I wanted.

Wanting to play a heavily modded Skyrim, my GTX480 was just not getting the job done. So I finally gave in and bought this Asus GTX780, with a bit of a discount, which was great. And this card has handled my modded Skyrim, no problems. Pleased to be getting 50-60fps with HD Texture mods, ENB Graphics and plenty of NPC mods.

Take into consideration the size of this card and the power it requires to run. Make sure your tower and power supply can handle it. But I planned on upgrading to a new Full Tower and a Modular Corsair HX850 PS, so good to go there.

Have always been pleased with Asus Motherboards, now I can add their Video card to the list.

5 out of 5 eggsA real beast!!!

Pros: This card is a real beast! I wanted a card that can handle everything at maxed graphic with maxed eyecandy like AA at 1080p graphic, and its exactly what i got! The card run quite cold too, never exeeding 63c in the most demanding situation.

Cons: Nothing bad to say about it!

Other Thoughts: I cant really tell if the card is quiet as my system have 9 fans in it. I need them as i crunch with boinc, running scientific calculation 24/7 when i'm not playing on my computer.
I suggest you too do your part too for a better world : http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ .

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Arrived very quickly from newegg

Cons: Card was DOA. Plugged it in and got power, but now picture would come out of it. Switched it out with other card I had and they worked fine. Sent back to newegg, waiting for replacement.
