5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for AMD Dual Graphics

Pros: Low profile
Pairs with AMD APU for dual graphics
Memory overclock-able. 900mhz to 1066mhz (your results may vary)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: First off, this is NOT a gaming video card.

But, when paired with an AMD APU in dual graphics mode, the results are impressive. I put this in my living room computer for HD video and light gaming. I paired it with an AMD A10-7700K processor in dual graphics mode and it gets 70+ fps in games like Sleeping Dogs and the Batman series. Great for casual gaming, especially considering you can get both the A10-7700k and the r7 240 for about $150 on sale.

In dual graphics mode, this is a decent little card. Just remember that a mid-range video card like an r7 360 (for about $110) will run circles around this card, even in dual graphics mode.

5 out of 5 eggsworked on my pci x16 2.0

Pros: 1. installed easy.
2. The amd overdrive software was nice, I overclocked card pretty high and it stayed stable.
3. there is no power plug and does not require a big psu
4.small card ,I'm using it on a micro atx mobo.
5. the itty bitty fan is very quiet and I did not notice it over my case fans. you can control the fan speed with the amd overdrive
6. stays cool, idles around 33c ,Iv kept this card overclocked high since the moment I put it in and iv been playing older games on high settings and leaving the pc on 24/7 and the highest iv seen it get was 44c

Cons: 1. it is what it is, a low end card. it does good for older, non demanding games on high settings like Dragon age 2,oblivion,morrowind,etc. but it struggles on medium settings on witcher 2. I have not attempted to run a high end or new release game on this,I'm sure it will struggle on low to med settings and not be a good gaming experience.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Upgrade!

Pros: Dropped in a 6 yr old Hp DC-5800 W/8gb ram & Coe2duo E8600 @ 3.33Ghz an upgraded sound card...No pci 3.0 issues w/generic Windows HD Audio &video drivers..Then I installed AMD Catalyst an display drivers an now Im getting 6.9 &6.9 windows experience ratings ..Way better than Nvidia GT 520 Card @ 5.3gaming & 6.1 Aero..
The other HUGE BONUS IS..I can now plug my Sub woofer an sattelites back into my PC An enjoy my audio again...Nvidia card only let my audio thru my HDMI on a 42 inch LED TV..Cool but I want to use my sub via my sound card..and now I got flexibillity to use the sound source I choose.
Cant effin handle when a companies choices handcuff ya to what they like an despise proprietary software!
Simple install runs flawlessly on 250 watt power supply...FREEKING Great upgrade from my 1st an last NVIDIA CARD...AMD For Life !.

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: UNDER 50 BUX for 6.9 windows experience gaming rating ..FTW!
No low profile bracket included...Simply scored the bracket 8-10 times with a hacksaw blade an 2 bends and it is now low profile readt..sanded qwik w/dremel and perfect...

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card while it worked-

Pros: Excellent low profile card for photo editing..

Cons: Asus RMA service NO GOOD!!

Other Thoughts: I purchased an Asus R7-240 series that is still in warranty...Now dead.
Sent it back for RMA about 3 weeks ago...
Now I'm on my fourth hour long phone call with no resolve.
I will stop buying their product, and go over to another company.
I don't know who, but it can't be any worse...I'M DONE

2 out of 5 eggsASUS R7240-2GD3-L Radeon R7 240

Pros: Affordable, Simple Install

Cons: Not Much Improvement

Other Thoughts: I did not see much improvement. Rendering graphics in Photoshop 3D can take 15-30 mins and some times longer pending detail and resolution

If you need one, get it. But if you are upgrading, keep shopping

4 out of 5 eggsGood Graphics

Pros: Can run games on high (BF4), and never failed even when boosted up.

Cons: No sound in some games.

Other Thoughts: When I bought this card, it worked great, but the sound did not work on some games, and I have Gigabyte motherboard with fx-4300 processor. AMD motherboard and AMD graphics card should match, right? Recently I bought another video card (nvidia), and those games that had sound not working, apparently began to work just fine. So, my advice to all is to mismatch graphics cards with motherboards, AMD->nvidia gpu, Intel->AMD gpu.

3 out of 5 eggsBEWARE

Pros: Asus brand, reputation, well-built,

Cons: Beware: PCI 3 only.
NOT: backwards compatible with PCI 2
SUPPORTED only: Intel Ivy Bridge third-gen CPU or newer, AMD Kaveri 7000 series or newer.
Some older might work, but I haven't come across any, which is surprising, Dell, Gateway, emachines, Acer, various PCI 2 machines not supported.

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 on sale, without 1st checking the reviews. Big mistake. The problem was right there in the reviews, but as usual you assume you know better. Long story short, I didn't.

I have 20+ computers, various brands, they only worked in the PCI 3 machines, so after a year of being paperweights. Maybe I'll put them in an Ivy Bridge with Subpar integrated graphics, Celeron, Pentium, "dual core Ivy Bridge without hyperthreading"

100 percent. My mistake. So take the three-star rating with a grain of salt as it's not based on the actual graphics capability.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work.

Pros: I put it into the express slot on my motherboard turn it on, Nothing on the monitor. I double checked all my wiring. I'm sending this back, for a refund. If you want a good graphics card get a Nivida card. First time getting a ASUS graphics card, and its a horrible.

Cons: Doesn't work.
