Enabled games can feature more realistic environmental dynamics, a richer tapestry of sound effects, breathtaking directional audio, and more. AMD TrueAudio technology enhances audio realism by simulating the human brain’s perception of real-world sound, working in concert with the user’s existing audio hardware to recreate a lifelike experience.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat and horrible performance

Pros: Runs every game i have at max graphics at or above 60FPS

Cons: I don't know why but any time i am just on chrome looking at websites or anything simple. the frames per sec drop below 15, the why i can tell this is when i go to highlight anything or start a video. after a few sec it seems that the card kicks in and starts playing the video without a problem. But it is slow when just dinking around on windows. . . really? i have uninstalled and reinstalled the most up to date drivers. i really have no clue why it would be this way.

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings,

Please keep in mind that when the display card is not being used in high performance mode, such as when you are playing a video game, it will automatically downclock. However, I believe the performance delay may be caused by something else. When you have the time, please contact me through email regarding this case. Within the email, I would need the serial number of the display card and the name of the program used to calculate the FPS. Thank you. 3541427.

Regards,

Mark

5 out of 5 eggssecond update

Pros: i own two of these cards are running great after some troubleshooting...

Cons: i ran into some problems after one month of use. i started to get lines across my screen and then a black screen. after working with asus tech support we found that the cards were good. the problem was solved by removing "accelerate hardware" from adobe flash. instructions: firefox: tools>advanced>browsing>(uncheck "use hardware acceleration when available). next go to youtube abd run a vido. right click video and unchech "hardware acceleration". and then after this uninstall catalyst drivers and install latest drivers. adobe flash is the bane of video cards and crashing.

remember to uncheck these options again if u update adobe because adobe might try to reset these because wants to crash our pcs and cause us to reboot our web browsers all the time.

Other Thoughts: be sure the switch on ur card is set to be closest to the fan. this will put the card into uber mode for fan control. download msi afterburner and use this to adjust fan speeds.

i am happy these cards turned out to be good and that the problem was adobe flash conflict with the drivers because i been using asus hardware for a long long time.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card!!!!

Pros: Card plays any game at max settings on 1080P without an issue. Plays Totawar: Rome 2, BF4, Rust, and DayZ just to state a few.

- With a little OC this thing will score over 10,000 on 3Dmark Firestrike.
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/1506466

- GPU Tweak an monitor along with the GPU streaming software all work Great.

-Noise is not an issue if you set up a custom fan profile with GPU tweak or other software. Fan is really only an issue if running past 55%. Haven't had to go past 50% and the card stays at 80C.

AMD's 13.12 drivers are very stable with this card now. Heard issues about black screen issues but everyone should know thats a driver issue since drivers previous to 13.12 were beta drivers.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My Rig:

4 out of 5 eggsR9 290X

Pros: Fast
decent power draw

Cons: Loud and Loud
oh, its hot too

Other Thoughts: Got 20% minimum jump performance from my Powercolor 280x OC. I know that 90c is normal for this card, but I just cant see myself letting this card get so hot. I game with Headphones so noise (62dB) is not a problem for me. Its at 78c with the fan at 64% on full load (1000Mhz and 1250mem). Power draw went down from 450w (full load on 280x) to 400w full load with this card, btw this is on a Corsair 550D with a 3820, 5 case fans, 1 vga fan, and the Kraken X40. If you dont mind the noise or price get this card, If you do, the 280X is an Excellent card. You cant go wrong with either one of this cards as both max out settings for any game available.

5 out of 5 eggsLTC

Pros: Runs at 775 KH/s for litecoin mining, straight out of the box.
Runs at 856 KH/s with tweaking (no overclocking, very stable)
Runs at 963 KH/s with overclocking 1025 GPU 1500 Memory (runs like a champ at 963 for 48 hours+ at 80 degrees Celcius... but becomes very unstable if you ever stop the mining software, Win7, CGminer 3.7.2)

Cons: Loud... VERY

Other Thoughts: It's big... VERY big. It's an extremely snug fit between the back of my case, and my HD cages, make absolutely sure you have enough room, and don't forget the 1/4th inch for the lip on the mounting bracket.
