5 out of 5 eggsBest Buy - Price

Pros: Stays pretty cool. I got this part of a combo kit and it was going to be the upgrade from a 550Ti. The temps get to about 50-55 max and I am pulling in about 60fps.

Cons: This really isn't a con but I want to say the low cuda cores. I am not going to deduct any eggs because of it.

Other Thoughts: Overall a fantastic card for the price if bought by itself as well for the combo kits it comes with. I would recommend this card for those who are on a budget and looking for a decent card that performs well. I like the Asus and Gigabyte cards and never had any issues with them.

4 out of 5 eggsBest bang for buck?

Pros: Affordable graphics card that will boost your playable games list ten fold.
Dual DVI, 1 HDMI output.
Excellent Cooling as do all GTX 750ti series have.
Overclocks easily.

Cons: At this time I can't think of any necessary cons to list.
There might be some cons for some people, but not me, and not at this time. However, The 20$ mail in rebate is a joke. I would not consider buying this product based solely on the rebate alone.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from the EVGA Geforce 9500 GT, which is basically half a tick above on board graphics. before I got this particular card I had purchased the EVGA GTX 750 FTW edition(Not the GTX 750 "ti" FTW edition) from another online retailer. The purchase was a mistake. I RMA'd it and received a full refund. Then At which point I decided to stop messing around and just buy A new Graphics card from Newegg. I've been buying stuff off Newegg.com for about 5 years now, and I have to say. they are the best in the business when it comes to customer satisfaction and their "no-nonsense" approach to their product base is second to none. Now to the real review: After I made the right decision and purchased this card from Newegg for a great price and only 4$ for 3 day (Actually only took 2 days) shipping, I received it just in time for the weekend. Un-boxed, Installed, tweaked and tuned a bit. Finally i was in some games, testing it out. Bare in mind I maxed out the sliders on the "Gpu tweak" application and did not have any issues with stability or over heating. The card has not gotten hotter than 80 degrees Celsius, While on load and stays about 40C on idle.
On Rust, with Min settings I was getting close to 90-100 fps. On max settings(With grass On) I was getting on avg about 45 fps with a drop to the 20's on occasion, and a spike in the 50's. I was getting the same results on the "experimental beta new Rust"(8-15-2014) with the default settings.
Metro last light with medium settings. I was getting about 30 fps on avg.
The Forest v0.05 On max settings I was getting avg 25 fps. On lowest settings around 45-50 fps.
I haven't done much else extensive gameplay so i won't list any more benchmarks.
I know this card has made games that before where literally un-playable, now as smooth as console graphics. This is a great card. After The rebate and promotion codes I will have purchased this card for around 130$, which is awesome for the quality you receive.

5 out of 5 eggsFast fast fast

Pros: Light weight card. Stays pretty cool. Fits in my small case. I upgraded from a 560ti (I was slightly out of date.. due to laziness of purchasing a new gfx card). This is a fantastic "bang for your buck card".

Cons: The software that comes with the card is pretty neat, being able to change your clock settings, monitor all your card information while it's running. However, it's slight bloatware.. (Maybe I'm just OCD about having startups programs.. I highly dislike them..) even though this is an easy change in the settings menu.

Other Thoughts: Fasted shipment I've ever gotten in my life. Was actually impressed. Ordered it in the afternoon and it arrived at 9am the next morning.. (perks of living in CA?) Great stuff. Order one!

5 out of 5 eggsASUS GTX750TI

Pros: Absolutely love it. The price was right and it performs just like I expected. Runs skyrim on High/ultra with real vision enb, static mesh improvements, climates of tamirel, and a bunch of other mods at 40-50 fps consistantly and 60 fps indoors. Best part is that it never gets about 55*.

Cons: only thing to gripe about is the 6pin locatiion is less than desirable. If you dont care about cable management as much as others this shouldn't bother you

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Got this card for my lower end build and it performed much better than i expected. This card has as ridiculous amount of overclocking potential for the price. I've been playing games on high and the framerate has been a steady 60fps. The card is completely silent even while under a heavy load.

Cons: The power connecter is on the front of the card so it may be an issue in smaller cases.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat improvement

Pros: Great performance increase from my HD 6670. Received open box item and worked flawlessly since install. Asus customer support is friendly and they make good products.

Cons: None that I can tell as of yet.

Other Thoughts: Customer should be aware that this card will not work off of just the mobo power alone. It requires a 6 pin PCI power adapter. I've been told that only the top of the line 750ti cards even have this so I guess it's a plus! I bought a connector from molex to the 6 pin from local shop for 5 bucks that worked just fine as I didn't have the correct plug on my power supply. I did have some slight horizontal lines appearing, but since I've purchased a new power supply they have gone. Would buy this product again

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: It runs cool
quiet
and never get above 69C even after overclocking

Cons: The only part that I dislike is the 6pin connector was on the inside and not the outisde so it kinda annoying when you route the cable and the cable is extremely visible but wont deduct point for that and overall it fantastic so far.
It doesnt supported SLI which is a sad part for me.

5 out of 5 eggssuper deal thanks newegg

Pros: - good brand name with qaulity parts
- coverings on ports/board connectors during shipping
- low power consumption
- low noise
- default of 1215 Mhz clock under load (shown in nvidia-settings)
- cards are not hot with hours of heavy load even with 2 cards in my case.
- had a great newegg promo code and rebate deal
- arrived in 2-3 days which is fast for free shipping

Cons: possible issue: this card requires a 6 pin power connection from Power supply

Issue: ubuntu Linux default nvidia driver boot failed or hung

found solution steps posted online and was simple to resolve

repasted here for help to all

1 . get past the boot hang up

Booting into recovery mode

Switch on your computer.
Wait until the BIOS has finished loading, or has almost finished. (During this time you will probably see a logo of your computer manufacturer.)
Quickly press and hold the Shift key, which will bring up the GNU GRUB menu. (If you see the Ubuntu logo, you've missed the point where you can enter the GRUB menu.)

Select the line which starts with "Advanced options".

Select the line ending with "(recovery mode)", probably the second line, something like:

Ubuntu GNU/Linux, with Linux 3.8.0-26-generic (recovery mode)

Press Return and your machine will begin the boot process

select enable networking
select drop to shell

2. setup drivers - 64 bit

go on nvidea driver download I have get NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-340.24.run
put it in a folder you remember (your home) and make it executable (chmod u+x ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-340.24.run)
sudo apt-get purge nvidia*
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf or sudo vim /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

add at the end this lines

blacklist vga16fb
blacklist nouveau
blacklist rivafb
blacklist nvidiafb
blacklist rivatv

and save

sudo gedit /etc/default/grub or better if you like vim: sudo vim /etc/default/grub
find

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"

and change it to

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nomodeset"

sudo update-grub

now you have to go text-only:

use CTRL+ALT+F1 to go on text-only
to come back on graphic mode use CTRL+ALT+F7

sudo gdm service stop or sudo service lightdm stop
sudo sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-334.21.run
it give you some warning on pre build script I have continued
it ask you to accept some condition, you give all yes
let it change xorg.profile for you
sudo reboot

if you have trouble at reboot you can do a new reboot and start in recovery mode:

Advanced options
recovery mode

after this if you continue by the normal boot you can login in graphical mode but after you are logged in you have to repeat step 7,8,9

at next login you can boot on graphical mode.

this procedure has worked for me I hope work for you too.

also worked for me so able to use cards in my OS - Linux
