1 out of 5 eggsOverheats Constantly

Pros: good frame rates (when working)

Cons: every game I play it over heats and crashes unrecoverablely, even stupid stuff like skyrim and farming simulator. one time I even gave myself a second degree burn from touching it. I then told ASUS to refund it, I still haven't heard back from them.

Other Thoughts: DON'T BUY unless you like 15 minute game sessions, severe blisters on your fingers, or a glowing red hot motherboard. Just spend $50 more and get a sapphire that is water cooled and has twice as much ram.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsWhat are you getting? VALUE

Pros: + Under $200
+ Relatively Low energy Requirement
+ 2GB of memory compared to similar cards
+ Averages 30FPS on Medium Settings for most games I play (World of Tanks, Ark:Survival)

Cons: + Needs Power Connector (will explain)

Other Thoughts: So, I accidentally got this version of the GTX 750 instead of the regular. The Ti with overclocking from ASUS is definitely a happy investment BUT I was originally looking for the regular. Why? Power. I have a basic ASUS MB32 Tower (Like $500 from Best Buy - includes keyboard, mouse and an A10-6700 processor) because I needed a computer quickly and cheaply early this year.

I was looking for the regular 750 because I only have a 400W power supply and no room to upgrade it so when this came to my door I realized I was a bit done over. Though I got a Star Tech 2 4-pin to 6-pin PCI-e connector to connect from my power to the card and it's worked WONDERFULLY and reliably since.

NOTE: I'd suggest StarTech and using the dual 4-pin to one 6-pin connector. I bought a 1 4-pin to 6-pin connector from Koolertek and it was both Ridiculously unreliable (broke in 5min) and it only supplied half of the necessary power through one 4-pin. Now I know.

Great investment though!

3 out of 5 eggsNever Lived Up to Its Claims

Pros: I've been building pcs for decades, never had a problem with a product that didn't live up to advertised specs, until now.

Cons: Hangs routinely at anything other than stock speeds, requires an included app to start at anything other than settings in the firmware each and every time you boot up, doesn't remember you last setting. I only run mine at the lowest app settings, barely above stock.

Other Thoughts: My 1st dismal failure of an Asus product.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: Very good card
Low power consumption
Overclocking capability
Just all around good card

Cons: Needs a 6-pin pci-e plug
If old power supply needs a 4-pin molex x2 to 6 pin pci-e x1

Other Thoughts: Price is pretty acceptable

1 out of 5 eggshad to refund

Pros: n/a

Cons: The card took an extra long time (7~10 sec) before boot up screen showed up. After installing the driver on server 2012 r2 system from the CD the screen flickered and went blank. Upon restarting the boot up screen would show up fine as before but once it boots into windows the screen will not display correctly. Replaced it with a previously working Radeon card and encountered same issue after booting in (WUT?). Removed ATI card, had to locate an old Nvidia geforce 210, screen would go blank at first, but then clear up - and stay clear. Repeated steps on a separate system running win 7 and encountered the same issue.

Other Thoughts: Strangest issue ever. Seems like a combination of driver and hardware.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsshuts down alot

Pros: Came with a bare bones pc

Cons: Had card for 6 months and was ok now get Random shut downs sometimes 2-3 in an hour and green screens. Swapped out card for different one and had no problems. Put this one back in and back to the same problems again.

Other Thoughts: Changed fan profile seems to help. Anything graphic intensive shuts pc down. Looking for a better Card and brand

5 out of 5 eggsASUS GTX 750 TI

Pros: Very solid little card with a nice price tag for performance, this care also doesn't use that much power as well. I've had this card for about three months now and it has behaved very well, and i would say it behaves with Bioshock Infinite the most. You will be able to play Infinite on ultra setting with about 80 FPS all depending on the rest of your rig. Most of the Bioshock series runs very very well on this card everything else i would say this card runs ok on.

Cons: Some other games run ok on here with normal frame rates, but MW2 was probably the worst running on the card. I had numerous crashes and it got kinda annoying. The game placed everything on the highest setting but still a lot of crashing.

Other Thoughts: all in all it runs Unreal engine games pretty well, but MW2 was the biggest blow. I would want to run like Advanced Warfare on the card in 4k but for 7th Gen games it seems to run great. Overall this is a great card for a cheap upgrade or for a budget build.
