5 out of 5 eggsexcellent starter!

This review is from: ASUS DirectCU II R9270X-DC2T-4GD5 Radeon R9 270X 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: It handles well for it's speed processing, and it handles much with it's Ram and support for display.

Keep in mind that these cards keep focus on low standard requirements for AA techniques on gaming so SMAA and FMAA work well and so does MSAAx2.

It can play things on MAX Or basically Ultra to max rendering only on

1020-1200+ resolution IN BETWEEN

but in drawn resolution ingames and textures support 4k but not the display of the screen so keep that in mind.

1080p still looks pretty with 4k ingame reslution

It's mantel support will be used highly in future games so that it will overlap lot of GPU's with this format, making this the top gaming first build card for price and power with support.

farcry 4 worked on Very Ultra and SMAA support.
it had Ambient Occlusion set to HBAO+
and supported high FoV.

Cons: Abolute to non for what it can do on it's price

fairness for powerindeed
.

4 out of 5 eggsASUS DirectCU II Review

This review is from: ASUS DirectCU II R9270X-DC2T-4GD5 Radeon R9 270X 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: - Ultra graphics setting on every game
- High memory
- 3.0 Ready
- Price

Cons: - Very large in size.
- Occasional Micro Stutter
- Lots of heat

Other Thoughts: I think its a great graphics card in comparison to other graphics cards on the "same level". I run all my games on ultra settings just fine. However i dislike the massive size of the card and i highly dislike the placement of the power connectors. Its right next to the heat dissipation bars and your power wires will generally come close to touching the bars.

I almost bought a 2nd one.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty OK

This review is from: ASUS DirectCU II R9270X-DC2T-4GD5 Radeon R9 270X 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: Excellent for high resolution games, and some memory intensive games

Decent gaming performance

Good value and overall card

Cons: The aftermarket cooling unit among this line of the worst available, only superior to the reference card.

HDMI connector was fragile and got damaged while shifting my machine.

Other Thoughts: The card, while reinforced, is still bending an unnerving amount under its own weight. Hopefully in future revisions, adequite PCB support in the form of a backplate will be added. As is, I expect electrical failure after a few years because of this issue.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

This review is from: ASUS DirectCU II R9270X-DC2T-4GD5 Radeon R9 270X 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: Bought 2 of these cards to run in Crossfire for my new gaming PC. I can run any game at Max settings in 1080P with an average of 130FPS! However (It is worth noting that these are paired with a 4.2Ghz 8core CPU and 32GB of DDR3 2133).
2 of the regular 2GB cards in crossfire out benchmark the GTX 780 at a fraction of the cost!

Cons: Monstrous cards! I mean these things are massive! You need a deep wide case for these cards. Totally worth it!

Other Thoughts: Buy without hesitation. You wont regret it!
Best bang for your buck in graphics cards.
More bang then cards that cost a lot more bucks!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Graphics Card

This review is from: ASUS DirectCU II R9270X-DC2T-4GD5 Radeon R9 270X 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: This card works amazingly well with the games I have tried it with so far....Final Fantasy XIV, Thief, and COD. Super Quiet for how powerful this card is. The stock fan RPM program works flawlessly.

Cons: The only con I have at all with this car is how large it is and depending on how your MoBo is set up, possibly blowing the hot air directly on your CPU. But thats not the cards fault.

Other Thoughts: Overall an excellent mid-range GPU

5 out of 5 eggsBest Card for the Money.

This review is from: ASUS DirectCU II R9270X-DC2T-4GD5 Radeon R9 270X 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: Great Card, have been using it in my gaming rig, and it works fantastically. It is able to run strong with a high over clock, but it was a little too hot for me so i turned it down, but its a great over clocking card. I am looking in to purchasing a second to add a few more monitors. The cooler on it is excellent. Unless the fans are on 100%.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Wish it was a little cheaper but other than that its a great card.
