4 out of 5 eggsDoes what I ask of it

Pros: I bought this mainly because of the fans only running when needed. I have this in a caseless home theater and gaming PC so sound was a main concern. So far it will play all of the games I want to. Also looks pretty cool.

Cons: Graphics stutter sometimes but to be honest I'm not absolutely certain where that comes from.

4 out of 5 eggsThe Cheap Card to murder them all.

Pros: Brilliant card, can be powered by PCI-E without any cables from the PSU which saves room in case and has less cables. Worked perfectly in the games i play such as far Cry 3 CSGO and other games like that.

Cons: The asus website never allowed me to register my product and I never felt like calling them because i generally hate their phone service. Kept saying I had the wrong Serial Number.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap good card, easy to overclock

Pros: -It's cheap
-Easy to overclock
-Runs most new games at max setting near or above 60 fps (Black Ops 3, Battlefield 4, NBA 2k16, GTA V)
-Very quiet

Cons: -It's old
-Struggles with some games on max settings (Rust 35-50 fps, DayZ 15-35 fps)

Other Thoughts: -I would recommend this to other people
-Overall it's a good, cheap graphics card that met my expectations

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing Card For the Price

Pros: To start it off, this card is amazing for the price it sits at. It's performance is great for a beginner build. It is a low power card and a silent one at that with the 0 Decibel fans implemented in the design. Overall I love the results I got from this and it is also a perfect choice for a small or low budget pc build.

Cons: -It can get a little hot based on the options you choose for cooling
-It is a bit of an older card
-Only 2 fans

Other Thoughts: I love it, would definitely recommend this for this price!

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed and confused

Pros: -Looks amazing.
-Fairly silent, since fans don't spin all the time.
-Affordable price point for first computer build
-Decent performance for the price
-Great graphics performance on Raiderz (MMO).

Cons: -Does not play well with Heroes of the Storm (Blizzard game). Over the last 3 months, my entire computer has crashed multiple times when playing this game, needing to be shut down using the power button. Unfortunately, this is one of the few games I do play regularly. Blizzard openly advises against Overclocked cards for this game, so maybe that is the problem, I'm not sure.
-Saw some strange interleaving artifacts in Diablo 3 (another Blizzard game) when the game screen pans around while moving your character. I never saw anything like this on even my Intel graphics on my laptop, yet I'm seeing this on a much more powerful desktop using the same external monitor.
-Yesterday (11/10/2015) I was playing Heroes of the Storm and again my computer crashed, but this time, unlike the previous times when this happened, the video card fans spun at ungodly high speed making a very loud sound like a small propeller plane. Scared the **** out of me. After rebooting I didn't hear the sound again, but this morning I just took the card out and switched to on-board graphics.

Other Thoughts: I'm really torn on this card. It gave great performance in one game, but in the games I play regularly (mostly Blizzard games) I saw strange behavior. Since I'm not a hard core gamer, I haven't tested this out on a lot of games, so I don't know what to say. I'm hoping ASUS can help me out.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Rajesh,

Thank you for taking your time in writing this review. We certainly value your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are having performance issues with your video card and that it crashes when you play HOTS and Diablo 3. Are all your drivers updated? I know you said that you are not a hardcore gamer, but can you test this card on other games to see if this just happens on certain games? Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. This card should be still in warranty, so you should be able to RMA it at So If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at and I will help you to the best of my abilities. I'm here to assist our customers with our products and dedicated in bringing a resolution to all issues that they may come across. Your case for reference is #N151131400

1 out of 5 eggsDont buy this...

Pros: Nicely built and packaged but....

Cons: This card continues to crash regardless of the drivers I use, I've read of countless complaints about the lack of support from Nvidia, I've swapped back to my 550 TI and intend to purchase a new Radeon product.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Dominic,

Thank your for your time in posting a review about our products. We are sorry to hear your experience with the graphics card. Just to check when you have graphics card before have you tried changing cables or was the driver updated? 5 out of 5 eggsGreat mid range value

Pros: I have an older Q9650 rig that used to have a GTX 460 inside, my frame rates in CS:GO were stuck between 70-150 even when I overclocked my CPU. With the 750ti and stock 3Ghz speed I am now getting 90-210FPS in CS:GO even with quality settings a notch up across the board, was medium settings now set to high (default for each card). For a game that's FPS is said to be primarily CPU oriented, this card gave me the boost I was looking for to extend the life of my Q9650 rig just a little bit longer. I'm very happy.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: After reading many reviews regarding CPU/GPU bottlenecks with respect to my older quad core rig I committed to buy the 750ti instead of the GTX 960 or better. If you are in the same position, this card is a great choice.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: I bought this to extend the life of an old box (q6600, 6gb ddr2, pci 2) and it works great. It runs GTA V on high settings with a out of date system. I can't complain :)

It's quiet as advertised. The fans are idle most of the time and the system is cool.

I'm very happy with this purchase from newegg.

Cons: It didn't come with any beer.
