5 out of 5 eggsNice and quiet

Pros: Supports widescreen resolutions, fan is very quiet, Civilization 4.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I don't hear the fan on the video card at all. With the case closed, the entire box is nearly silent (with 2 120mm case fans). Maybe I'm going deaf in my old age..My setup:
Intel E6600 2.4GHz with stock fan (running at 28-33 deg C)..
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 board..
2x Mushkin 1GB DDR2 800 (model 991527)..
2x Western Digital Caviar SE16 320GB SATA 3.0 HDDs (RAID 1)..
Gigabyte GeForce 7950GT 512MB GDDR# PCIe x16 with Zalman VF700-AlCu..
Samsung 18x SATA DVD burner..
NEC Floppy drive with round cable..
Mushkin HP-580AP ATX12V 580W Active PFC power supply..
Thermatake VD3000SNA Aluminum ATX mid case..
ViewSonic X series VX2235WM 22" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD..
Logitech MX3000 wireless desktop..
Windows XP Pro.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Moderately priced, PCI-E, 512 DDR 3, 24 pixel pipelines, 256 bit interface, Shader 3.0, top notch Zalman cooler

Cons: Molex power connecter instead of PCI-E

Other Thoughts: I had to upgrade my system to play Gothic 3 which is a resource pig!! I paired it with the FX 57 processor, (dirt cheap now) an inexpensive Asus A8N5X and 3 gigs of CAS 3 speed DDR 400 memory (which runs at 266 with 3 gigs [2x 1gb + 2x 512 gb]). It plays it at maximum settings when my X800 Xl was barely chugging along at medium low settings with an Athlon 64 3400. So the 939 line has reached it's end-Don't care..I saved a bundle with tremendous performance gains with this high powered card and a once flagship processor. Make sure you have at least a GOOD 500 watt power source.

4 out of 5 eggsGood One

Pros: Besides all the same function as other graphic card, Gigabyte chose Zalman Cooler to impress the customers and suceed.

Cons: For the Slim Size computer, it won't fit, and even it is a zalman, well u can hear the cooler sound.

Other Thoughts: This is good for who rather take advantage of getting low price for the 7xxx series. Definitely works for all the games, or 3d programs (Maya, 3dmax8, rhino) yet not the best. With the price and specs, this is right one to buy.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice card

Pros: This is a very nice, and decent card. It's a big improvement from the old geforce 6800 I had before. The Zalman cooler is also incredible. My card is currently idling at 35 C. My old geforce card idled at 48. Definately a great buy.

Cons: Unless you have a huge motherboard, I don't know if you could put two of these in sli. The Zalman coolers take up a huge amount of room.

Other Thoughts: Overall great buy. Also, comes with Civ 4.

Pros: THIS CARD WITH A 590 CHIPSET AND THE 5200+ AMD IS AMAZING.
I MAY NOT EVEN NEED TO GET ANOTHER TO RUN THEM IN SLI?

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME

Pros: Great video card. Nothing bad to say about it. I was debating on whether I should get this or the 7900GT but I think it was absolutely worth the extra $xx

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, Powerful, Cool

Pros: This card is idling at 36C and hasn't gone above 44C even after playing FEAR for an hour. The ZALMAN fan on this card keeps the GPU cool and is so amazingly quiet. I just built a new system, my old one had an ATI X1800. The 1800 was decent but LOUD, and no where near as cool. Turning on my old rig sounded like a vacuum cleaner. In comparison, my new setup is silent.

Cons: Absolute nothing thus far, handles FEAR, Oblivion and everything I throw at it on maxxed out settings.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and research EVERYTHING about the product you're buying, the Zalman fan on this card makes it superior to the other 7950's out there.

Pros: Very good card, running every programs and games I want at high specs with no sacrifice in performance.

Cons: I added copper heatsink to the RAM just to be on the cool safe side.

4 out of 5 eggsfun whilst it lasted

Pros: great architecture, an overall great card

Cons: should of got another vendor, card died after 2 weeks of normal usage, (my rma'd card is on its way back to yall), i guess this is not an uncommon occurence with gb?

Other Thoughts: wont knock it nasty b/c of vendor, thought about getting another but the x64 drivers are out for the g80's and its time to play with some bigger guns, i would reccomend another vendor and slap the zalmann cooler on it it never got above 45c full load
