5 out of 5 eggsNot for Maya

Pros: Unbeatable performance/cost ratio. This is one awesome that card can handle any game you own.

Cons: This card is not compatible with Maya 7.0 +.

Technically, the GPU can handle the computation load, but there seems to be a problem with the way the hardware of this card communicates with the Maya software via OpenGL. Updated drivers don't solve the problem.

Other Thoughts: If DCC is what you want to do (in addition to gaming) go for the Quadro FX series cards.

5 out of 5 eggscan't complain

Pros: sucker cooks! I play everything on max, HL2, STALKER, FEAR, NWN2 and this guy just chugs along happily giving me some pretty good FPS and awesome graphics.

Cons: this sucker cooks.. it can get kinda on the hot side if your not in a somewhat cool area, and from time to time it has to "catch up" a bit with loading graphics at max so it will stutter for 10-20 seconds ever hour or so.

Other Thoughts: Good freakin card if you have the Proc/MOBO/RAM to take advantage of it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Awesome card! Highly recommend this for any serious gamers.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: I initially bought a silent (no fan) 7600GS card because I wanted a quiet box. I'm really into Oblivion and recently switched from a 17" standard display to a 22" widescreen. The 7600 just couldn't keep up with the game, so I decided to go with this one, based on reviews. It is a night-and-day difference between the two. I can run the game pretty close to max settings with no framedrops or stutters. It's quiet, too, although I have a pretty well insulated case (Antec P180). I'm very happy with this card!

5 out of 5 eggsExcelent

Pros: Incredibly fast. Easy as normal to set up. Nvidia for the win.

Cons: It's pretty big. If you're not useing a spacey computer don't bother.

Other Thoughts: Worth every penny, getting another one next paycheck.

4 out of 5 eggsLike a hot wife with AIDS

Pros: The card performed wonderfully, was able to play all the latest titles with tasteful and impressive graphical quality.

Cons: After about one month of use, I was ready to write this card a nice review. However, just as I was writing the review, the computer shut off and refused to turn back on. After careful review, this graphics card was the blame. So don't buy this card if you wan't to use your computer for more than a month without having to pay 9 dollars for a Newegg RMA. EVGA makes nice cards.

Other Thoughts: After 3 days of strenious finger blistering labor, the culprit was found. In Soviet Russia, graphics card truly does fail you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: This is an awsome card for the money. I don't really know why you would need much more than this for todays games. I can run BF2 (only game I really play) on full high setting and get 110-130FPS easy. I upgraded from a 7600GS and its night and day better. I also found it to be rather quiet.

Cons: It is pretty big, but if you have anything bigger than a micro case it should fit. My only complant is that if I get another one for SLI, I'm not sure if I will be able to use any of the other PCI slots on my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: AMD X2 3600+, ASUS M4N-SLI mobo, 2gig DDR2 800 ram.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I get 600fps in CS:1.6 and 800fps in Diablo II. I felt bad playing those games so I tried out BF2 which looks amazing. It's pretty much as good as you'd think. I liked that the fan was attached well unlike my old 6800.

Cons: It's a little big, but that's what you'd expect. Fit fine in my case, I had to move my harddrives down one slot but with some fancy wiring, it's all good.

Other Thoughts: Notepad looks absolutely stunning on this card.
