NVIDIA's 200 series of graphics cards combines cutting edge technology and advanced capabilities for best-in-class performance. The GTS250 boasts a 2nd Generation NVIDIA Unified Architecture solution for all your most demanding graphic needs. It’s Microsoft Vista ready and equipped with a PCI-Express 2.0 interface. The GTS250 supports 3-way SLI to seriously crank your performance options by using up to three graphics cards for insane flow rates. Support for DirectX 10, OpenGL 2.1, NVIDIA's PureVideoHD, CUDA and PhysX are built in to render even the most intense environmental effects in the latest game titles and bring a brand new video experience to PC users.

The card's core clock runs at 740MHz, relieving your CPU of pixel crunching duty. Data surges through the GTS250's 128 stream processors fed by 1GB of 256-bit 1850MHz GDDR3 memory. The Geforce 250GTS supports a maximum digital resolution of 2560x1600 over its dual-link DVI output, or 1920x1080 resolution via the HDMI output.

The GTS250 delivers fluid frame rates and HD video with solid performance. If your motherboard can take it, the GTS250 can dish it out.

4 out of 5 eggsGood card, for the money.

Pros: -Cheap
-Runs reasonably well.
-Comes with an overclock program, always nice.
-SLi compatible.

Cons: -Gets pretty hot(70+ with overclock at max load, 65ish w/o oc)This could be the way I have it setup though, might be able to cool it when I get another fan this week.

Other Thoughts: -The notifications and such are in Engrish.
-Probably picking up another on of these once Fermi comes out. Should drop the price a bit, and let me theow another one in my build.

5 out of 5 eggsPlays games wonderfully without melting itself

Pros: I wasn't expecting this card to play everything I threw at it at unnecessarily high levels, but it does. And it has no problem with heat either.

And it's not as gigantic as others, from what I hear.

Cons: I honestly can't find a thing wrong with it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood videocard

Pros: Good power, Runs most my game on high settings, plugged it in and windows 7 updated the drivers automatically without a hitch, plenty of cooling with that huge Zalman fan on it. You can barely hear the fan on this thing going. Only time I hear it working is when everything in the house is off and it's deathly quiet around.

Cons: It doesn't do my laundry?

Other Thoughts: Some people say this is just a repackaged 9800GTX+ on a few years old technology. I seen some reviews and looked them up but all the ones I have seen show it actually performs better even if it is the same architecture. Also all the reviews I saw showed this thing stayed way cooler with the cooling system on it than any other card in the range or on par with 1 or 2 others. Not a bad card and will not be disappointed.

Pros: Great card! And it doesn't even need a big psu...
With this card I play crysis warhead on full graphics aa x16.
The card gives me excellent performance and it never lagged before.

Cons: It's a bit loud when the pc is turned on but when you are in a game you won't even notice it.

Other Thoughts: This is a really good card and you won't be disappointed but i know for a fact that msi cards is also worth it.

3 out of 5 eggsJust not sure

Pros: I was all excited when I put my new pc together and then I noticed that I had to wait to use this video card because I still need the s-video out until I get an hdmi cable. I am a DJ though so I will figure it all out...For the few hours that I had this card in my pc (my first solo build) it seemed to do great though and it cloned off ok to watch movies on my Toshiba 32" lcd hdtv!

Cons: None that I have found yet but I am not a big time gamer either...not yet anyway!

Other Thoughts: I can't wait to use this card and learn more about gaming with my pc since I am now unable to work due to 4 herniated discs and spinal stenosis!
One thing I have noticed though is that other people have said the fan on this card is extremely loud and for whatever reason...I don't agree with that...while I was using it this card was perfect and it doesn't make any more noise than my Chaintech 8600...I don't even notice it running!

5 out of 5 eggsNoisy? no.... Good card huge advancement from my x1950 pro

Pros: I dont know why people are saying the fan is noisy cause its not, I guess if you try to over clock it some ridculous clock speed that it doesnt need you might get a noisy fan right before you blow it up out of ignorance.
Good card buy it, over clocking is for loosers

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: none
