1 out of 5 eggsVideo Card GVN26SO GTX260 update

Pros: Some Games OK

Cons: Junk

Other Thoughts: I unfairly stated that I would Not Buy Any Gigabyte video Cards. I also own a GIGABYTE GV-R695D5-2GD-B Radeon HD 6950 Video Card which is excellent. Runs Far Cry 3 without lag or a stutter.

1 out of 5 eggsVideo Card

Pros: Works On Some Games. But it is Garbage.

Cons: Total Garbage. Stutters, Freezes in Far Cry 3. I get to play anywhere from 45 seconds to 3 minutes and it shuts down. It indicates Nvidia Driver stopped responding. I had RMA'd this piece of junk and Gigabyte send it back indicating that it was working properly. Apparently they did not have any games as demanding as Far Cry3.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy another Gigabyte Video Card. Their Motherboards ar Excellent, in the I own 3 and never had a problem.

4 out of 5 eggsCard is dieing, and the 3 years is almost up and not sure I can live without a 3D card

Pros: Fastest Card I have ever seen before the 400 series came out.... however, I started having issues about 2 or 4 months after using this card, but I dismissed it as a simple power spike or failure. Was a fair price at teh time, I was in a hurry, needed somethign fast affordable, and this was it. Warrenty is almost up and not sure I will be able to get an RMA...

Cons: This Card worked fine untill 4 months after I had gotten it, since then its been down hill, benchmarks for 3Dmark06 went from 13k to 11k in 2 years time, I even formatted to see if it helped, and it didn't. The card is slowly dieing, and my warrenty is almost up. I can not live without some type of display for my computer, I have not back-up. I am needing this RMAed but I am doubting Gigabyte will do it.

Other Thoughts: Card now shuts my PC down after intense 3D Gaming for several Hours, mind you I have a 750 Watt Power supply with the bells and whsitles I bought it when I got this puppy. Now Its running below par, liek its sick and dieing. I air cleaned it, dusted it, and still runs poor. Went from 60 FPS to 30 FPS drops in most intense games. I am kinda worried about Gigabyte selling OC Hand Picked Cards, and not sure if I want to buy another or not, if they only last 2 n half years of purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsYES!!

Pros: REVIEW this model. There is a difference between this and other models. It is made with high quality parts. Runs cool. It runs as good as a 275, give or take. Can be overclocked further. About the same price as other cheaply made 260's.
Use Riva tuner or at least Nivdia Control Panel to regulate it, not the trial version software it comes with.
11.5 inches. Make sure your case handles it. I have a Cooler Master 690 II Advanced and it had 1 inch left before it hit the hard drive casing.
Antec True Power TP3 650Wwatt works great for me.

Cons: Not a real Con. To bad NewEgg cannot keep this model in stock. Should be the only 260 model they sell.

Other Thoughts: Dismiss all negative reviews..... I read them and it has to be the user that is the problem. One, might be a lemon purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Where do i begin... Lets start with the overclock and the temps... Just wow... with this much overclock it runs around 35C idle and can get up to 50-70C on load and in games (i stress tested this card, and even around 80C the auto fans stayed @ 40%, im not sure when it kicks in, but the card never went above 80C in the stress tests)

I saw enormous FPS increase in all of my games (except bad company 2... that one stayed the same, however other games like bshk 2, batman arkham, l4d2, tf2, codmwf2 etc... got 30-50% improvement)

What can i say.. this card is great!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Works with my 650W corsair power supply just fine!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card!

Pros: I have a XFX version of this card and its pretty good however this card puts it to shame. This card runs faster (40mhz) and runs about 10c cooler! In addition, this card was 80 bucks cheaper(did buy the XFX about a year ago). Still awesome bang for your buck!

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazingly great value for the money.

Cons: Gigabyte's software sucks. Download EVGa Precision and unlock the fan speed from the default 40% to 100% and that should stop everyones blue screen issues. My games were locking up until I unlocked the fan speed now it runs like a dream ... I hope they get more in stock I want a second one to SLI!

5 out of 5 eggsFast, Quiet, Cool

Pros: Amazing performance for a GTX 260 with high quality components and construction. Very cool and quiet running as well.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have this paired with a Phenom II X4 955 and it perfect gaming partnership. I can finally max out every quality setting on Fallout 3 and still keep an average over 50 FPS on a FRAPS run form Rivet City to Megaton (at 1680x1050). I owned a stock EVGA GTX 260 (216) and this card shames it. 1,000 points higher in 3DMark06, much better performance in games and better built quality. Just read a review of the new HD 5830 and this card is actually faster (the GTX 275 is faster than it and this card is faster than a stock GTX 275). Plus its cheaper by $25. I'm really glad I didn't wait to see what mid-range card ATI would introduce to fill the hole between the HD 5770 & HD 5850. This card is perfect for my needs (and DX11 isn't one of them at this point). Seems like I got one just in time since they are out of stock now.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed Unit

Pros: Card looked good out of the box. HDMI was a nice addition.

Cons: After installing the GIGABYTE GTX260 into my system I went to run the Windows system rating. I was getting normal video then it spun and crashed my system. There was always a small whistle right before the crash. My first thought was to redo the power connection so I did and got the same blue screen error. I used the driver install CD that came with the card and also tried one from Nvidia website same results every time. I reverted back to my older graphics card (9600gtx) and have had no problems. I RMA it back and the card was out of stock so they are sending me a check back and I am out $8 for the standard shipping and another $15 to ship it back.

Other Thoughts: Overall this card has amazing reviews and I hate to be the guy to give it a bad rating but what can you do. I was looking forward to getting the same card replaced but its out of stock. I think the worst disappointment was the fact that these are all "hand picked" and mine was clearly making a whistle with an internal error. On a different note Newegg is amazing. RMA was simple and there service is great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazing upgrade from a 8600 gts. I was playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 on medium graphics and it was a bit glitchy, now with the 260 I can put all the graphics on advanced and it runs smoothly. Easy install

Cons: like everyone else said, very long
