2 out of 5 eggs2 Years Down The Road... Trouble...

Pros: 2 years old and it'll still run just about anything on max settings without much trouble. It's starting to show it's age a bit in really high end recent releases but still an incredibly powerful card two years down the road.

Cons: I can't complain too much since I've had the card for two years and it operated pretty flawlessly in that time. Unfortunately, it looks like I may need to move on soon. In recent weeks, the fans have become incredibly loud drowning out every other component in my PC and even forcing me to turn my speakers way up in an attempt to block out the outrageous noise. The loud, irritating hum of the fans is an absolute constant at this point. The card does not need to be under any strain at all. Even with nothing but the Windows 7 desktop loaded with no PC activity at all the fans are going full-bore and running ridiculously loud.

From what I've read it appears this was somewhat of a common issue with these cards. It's both a blessing and a curse, I went two years with no such issue but now that the card is well out of any type of warranty the issue has appeared and there is not much I can do besides suck it up and buy a new video card. The sound is unbearable. I've contemplated pulling the card out and just running with the integrated graphics until I can afford a new one. It's that bad.

5 out of 5 eggsAn update

Pros: Considering everything, this is by far one of the easier installs ive had to contend with! Unfortunately the drivers on the OEM CD were out of date (to be expected). The plug and play feature installed the correct and most recent drivers before I had even put the cd in the tower.

After figuring out what had happened, I proceeded to the NVIDIA Website to get the correct drivers, and it was simple as breathing. Now I am running WoW on ultra at 60-70FPS without lag, inworld and in dunegon/raid.

Cons: So far none!

Other Thoughts: A few things to mention: I downloaded and started using coretemp application so i could monitor my CPU core temps to make sure I wasnt getting any overheating (see earlier post). After 10 hours under load (WoW on ultra, running 2 screens, and a movie on the other screen), the temp never got above 34C*. I am highly impressed. I still ordered 2 new fans to be on the safer side, but otherwise I am pleased.

Also, should note (idiot move alert!) I removed my tower side panel to look inside WHILE the computer was on (i know, idiot move). Everything checked out while I was checking around, however when i went to put the side panel back on, I created a static shock INTO THE CASE. Now, for the 10 sec's i wasnt breathing and no heart beat, the computer only restarted. Ran a diagnostic and everything is running well. Just wanted to point out that this card seems to be pretty strong and resilient.

Same Specs from earlier post apply.

4 out of 5 eggsHeres Hoping

Pros: Card came in quick fashion, was incredibly easy to install. Was very happy with the build and the setup of the hardware itself. The DVI outputs are very clear, and the VGA-DVI adapter was certainly a benefit, saving me another component cost and shipping. Def a plug and play, as long as you have internet connection.

As for gaming and usage, after just Day-1, it has done very well. Ran it on ultra playing WoW for 9 hours (Raiding, dunegons, etc), and it was always above 40FPS, except for one instance where it never got above 10FPS during a fight, but I believe this was to be expected considering cross-realms, server response time, and internet connection speed.

Cons: So far the only cons (and the only thing that I could think to take 1 egg off for) was the amount of heat this card puts off. I dont have a "big" tower by any stretch, but decently sized to allow ample air flow. The tower temp was consistently over 52C*. So I am considering getting additional tower fans.

Other Thoughts: Computer Setup:
ASUS Essentino CM-1730
AMD® AM3 Processor
AMD 760G/SB710 Chipset
KINGWIN ABT-650MM 650W ATX 12V v2.2/ BTX
16GB CORSAIR XMS3 RAM

Also, should note, that the free gift was not in the box with this order.

2 out of 5 eggsUnstable

Pros: Good performance when it works.

Cons: Top end games crash at higher graphics settings or cause drivers to reset frequently. Temps don't even spike much. Happening more as time goes on. Like other people have mentioned, the card is unstable. I don't think the hardware has capacity to run factory overclock without having issues.

Other Thoughts: Find a more stable version of this card if you are looking for a 560ti.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: I've had this card for almost 2 years now. Not a single hitch or glitch that I can recall of. Still runs most new games at highest settings with reasonable, albeit not over the top, framerates. Quiet and cool; I can't recall a single game crash to blame the card.

Cons: The mini HDMI port seems a bit fragile. It could possibly break or lose contact if not careful with moving the case around or fiddling with the cable.

Other Thoughts: Maybe some people just got unlucky with this card. In any case, every few months, I remove the card from the case, unscrew the fans, and clean the heatsink along with both fans. It keeps the noise levels down, as well as the temperatures. Artifacts are sometimes caused by overheating. I have yet to see a single pixel glitch. Hope it helps!

5 out of 5 eggsk.tV

Pros: Good shipment. Worked even after touching my system without a static wristwrap. So the durability is very nice. Thinking about how many times I touched it without ground might have been more than I thought common mistake.. Works great first bootup not an issue. I updated drivers for it monthly and would succeed.

Cons: Want to give to my older comp already and get a new Card for a higher performance utilizing the A Real Reborn Final Fantasy XIV - GeForce - GTX 560 Card. I have HD Capeable showing not very clear if it is on or off.. I think i got my onboard temp HD ON.. Input from HDMI input in monitor is not responding only the DVI input is active.

Other Thoughts: Great Product got easily passed up by many other cards but it has done the job well. I did see a huge difference comparing a similar HP system with Radeon Graphics added I transferred to my last system. . Radeon had more of a darker sharper image. I did notice the let down of only having maximum 60 hz as to using the 75hz with my old Radeon. . After using 60hz I can sure tell a difference with my eye's. I need glasses now with 60 hz. I didn't at 75hz but now with this monitor I also used the White DVI input not the smaller blue VGA Input and HDMI was also A MINI HDMI I had to use my converter. Not standard fit. Also easy to break off on mini's so I had to get a hard to find replacement. Still doing this. It say's I have HDMI in the sound mixer setting's now a channel for HDMI sound opt. It is utilizing my On board HDMI and monitor input an separate HDMI so tested every way to be hooked up and is great as advertised easy setup. Scoring a 4245 with my system being 3.4GHZ 8CPUs 16384 MB RAM. DirectX 11. I got the i7-2600 CPU works with it well. Was thinking of adding a second 1 but I only want 1 monitor. Double Power with SLI.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It was a good price and did well above my standards

Cons: Both myself and two other friends all have this same card and continue to experience random artifacts. I believe the fault is some where in the graphics clock that this card comes at. I have tried contacting GIGABYTE but never received any reply after information was exchanged.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card but with issues

Pros: Great card run all my games on high to ultra settings. very fast and quiet also.

Cons: The only problem I have and its a big one, The Drivers keep failing and like every one said it crashes at lease around 2 - 5 time daily. lucky for me it only crash once doing a game. I also update my drivers but it still crashes.

Other Thoughts: Good card for 3 - 4 months before the driver keep crashing. I was thinking about giving it a 3 out of 5 but like I said its a great card and it only crash once doing a game.

2 out of 5 eggsIssues after 1 year

Pros: Fast card, handles everything, that I through at it, pretty quiet too.

Cons: HDMI... the micro HDMI to normal HDMI adapter that comes with the card actually harms the card. The adapter over time cause damage to the micro HDMI port causing you to lose picture and artifacts on screen. It is inconvenience that should been caught before put on the market. I will think twice before buying a gigabyte card again.

Other Thoughts: When I get a picture on the screen it work flawlessly.
