3 out of 5 eggsMixed Success

Pros: 50% of the 2 boards I bought, for 2 systems, worked great!
The other 50% has had buggy problems.
Fortunately, even after almost 3 years, Gigabyte is taking the board back on an RMA. Hopefully it gets replaced.

Cons: Gigabyte doesn't have much to say about my issue.
I have not used them before, so I can't really say it taints my decision to buy from them again.
Agin, a pretty small pool of statistical analysis. ;-)

4 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: I've had this card for over 2 years now and it's still going strong with new game releases, can play BF4 1080p with mostly high and some medium settings (due to 1GB VRAM limitations).

Cons: Nvidia's latest R331.* driver releases runs terribly on these cards, the newer drivers are mostly for the GTX7xx cards and DICE decided to require you to have 331.* installed to be able to play BF4. Currently 314.22 runs flawlessly on the GTX560Ti and I will keep it that way, something tells me Nvidia does this on purpose to get you to keep buying their new cards- well I have a GTX760 now in my second PC (I use an R9 280X in my main PC).

Other Thoughts: Those of you with heat issues, take the heatsink off and scrape off the dry thermal paste and add some new paste, I had to do that with my HD5770 when it idled at 70C, after doing that it idled at 33C.

Showing its age, but it's somewhat better than the newer GTX660Ti due to its larger memory pipe (256bit vs 192bit) which matters in graphics intense games and applications (such as Adobe Premiere).

2 out of 5 eggsSo unstable, unreliable

Pros: Was a modestly priced video card back in 2011, and is pretty quiet.

Cons: Not a big fan of thin, flaky, plastic fan blades. They feel so frail, one has to be cautious not to accidentally break one off when cleaning or handling.

Other Thoughts: This was my first video card ever purchased for my rig back in 2011. Naturally I got it for the price, was around $200 during then, it has since gained a notorious reputation. Though it had problems in the beginning, I didn't think much of them and thought new drivers would fix it; man was I dead wrong.

This card constantly crashes and or freezes on multiple games which may(Shogun 2, Civ5, Witcher 2) or may not(RTW, M2TW) require DX11, BF3 being the most frequent which is guaranteed to crash every time, and it does not even matter which drivers you have installed. It is COMPLETELY unstable with even with just the factory overclock causing frequent hangs and or freezes even when just web browsing(ridiculous) or running multiple programs; only resetting back to standard settings will partially fix this. If it can't even browse the web with an overclock, then whats the point.

nVidia drivers have also pretty much put this card out of commission, notably the 320.xx versions. Ever since I've had to rollback to even survive 10 minutes on DX11 games, I get a subtle but noticeable and inconvenient artifact. Games that have custom maps(M&B: Warband) with many small objects will also drastically lower the FPS by at least 20-40. I've never played Minecraft but I can already safely assume that it would not be enjoyable.

It was an ok card while it lasted, decently priced too. However, the fact that it can only handle some games but not all of them has put me off from purchasing newer nVidia related products. I'm not sure if Gigabyte is to blame either. Only two to three years of reliable service too, two to three years! You get what you pay for I guess, time to roll the dice again.

2 out of 5 eggsDO NOT PURCHASE

Pros: very powerful,
can play most of hardcore games all the way to max

Cons: DO NOT BUY, after 1.5 year... for some reason this card is overheating all the time when I am playing League of Legend... YES LoL which is not super high demanding graphic on top of that... after 20-30 mins it keeps shutting down my computer

I did not over clock it yet... IMAGINE IF U OVERCLOCK... it will EXPLODE.....

1 out of 5 eggsNothing but a headache from day 1

Pros: -It works flawlessly if you're not gaming.

Cons: -It doesn't work if you are gaming

Other Thoughts: This card is unstable. It's a well known problem with this card. Gigabyte released a bios update to increase the voltage to handle the overclock. Even with this bios update you probably will not be able to play games that run DirectX11. You will get a couple minutes of playtime, then crash to desktop, or hard lock, or straight into a reboot. You can try underclocking it with MSI afterburner or other apps, but even after underclocking, it still had the same issues. I've got a 650 watt PSU, it's 80+ silver certifed. PC power and cooling. Very solid and reliable PSU. I've got plenty of juice for this card. Gigabyte just botched the hardware really bad. Do some searching in online forums, google "Gigabyte 560 gtx ti crash" and you will meet hundreds of ticked off gamers with the same exact problem. Why did I spend over 200$ on a video card for gaming, when it doesn't actually play any games?
I started out loving gigabyte, but I'm not so sure I should buy their products anymore. I wish someone told me about this when I bought the card. I thought everything was just fine for a year. Then I started trying to play games running DX11. Fat chance. Now I'm stuck with a card that's well out of warranty. Costly mistake.

2 out of 5 eggs2 Years Down The Road... Trouble...

Pros: 2 years old and it'll still run just about anything on max settings without much trouble. It's starting to show it's age a bit in really high end recent releases but still an incredibly powerful card two years down the road.

Cons: I can't complain too much since I've had the card for two years and it operated pretty flawlessly in that time. Unfortunately, it looks like I may need to move on soon. In recent weeks, the fans have become incredibly loud drowning out every other component in my PC and even forcing me to turn my speakers way up in an attempt to block out the outrageous noise. The loud, irritating hum of the fans is an absolute constant at this point. The card does not need to be under any strain at all. Even with nothing but the Windows 7 desktop loaded with no PC activity at all the fans are going full-bore and running ridiculously loud.

From what I've read it appears this was somewhat of a common issue with these cards. It's both a blessing and a curse, I went two years with no such issue but now that the card is well out of any type of warranty the issue has appeared and there is not much I can do besides suck it up and buy a new video card. The sound is unbearable. I've contemplated pulling the card out and just running with the integrated graphics until I can afford a new one. It's that bad.

5 out of 5 eggsAn update

Pros: Considering everything, this is by far one of the easier installs ive had to contend with! Unfortunately the drivers on the OEM CD were out of date (to be expected). The plug and play feature installed the correct and most recent drivers before I had even put the cd in the tower.

After figuring out what had happened, I proceeded to the NVIDIA Website to get the correct drivers, and it was simple as breathing. Now I am running WoW on ultra at 60-70FPS without lag, inworld and in dunegon/raid.

Cons: So far none!

Other Thoughts: A few things to mention: I downloaded and started using coretemp application so i could monitor my CPU core temps to make sure I wasnt getting any overheating (see earlier post). After 10 hours under load (WoW on ultra, running 2 screens, and a movie on the other screen), the temp never got above 34C*. I am highly impressed. I still ordered 2 new fans to be on the safer side, but otherwise I am pleased.

Also, should note (idiot move alert!) I removed my tower side panel to look inside WHILE the computer was on (i know, idiot move). Everything checked out while I was checking around, however when i went to put the side panel back on, I created a static shock INTO THE CASE. Now, for the 10 sec's i wasnt breathing and no heart beat, the computer only restarted. Ran a diagnostic and everything is running well. Just wanted to point out that this card seems to be pretty strong and resilient.

Same Specs from earlier post apply.

4 out of 5 eggsHeres Hoping

Pros: Card came in quick fashion, was incredibly easy to install. Was very happy with the build and the setup of the hardware itself. The DVI outputs are very clear, and the VGA-DVI adapter was certainly a benefit, saving me another component cost and shipping. Def a plug and play, as long as you have internet connection.

As for gaming and usage, after just Day-1, it has done very well. Ran it on ultra playing WoW for 9 hours (Raiding, dunegons, etc), and it was always above 40FPS, except for one instance where it never got above 10FPS during a fight, but I believe this was to be expected considering cross-realms, server response time, and internet connection speed.

Cons: So far the only cons (and the only thing that I could think to take 1 egg off for) was the amount of heat this card puts off. I dont have a "big" tower by any stretch, but decently sized to allow ample air flow. The tower temp was consistently over 52C*. So I am considering getting additional tower fans.

Other Thoughts: Computer Setup:
ASUS Essentino CM-1730
AMD® AM3 Processor
AMD 760G/SB710 Chipset
KINGWIN ABT-650MM 650W ATX 12V v2.2/ BTX
16GB CORSAIR XMS3 RAM

Also, should note, that the free gift was not in the box with this order.

2 out of 5 eggsUnstable

Pros: Good performance when it works.

Cons: Top end games crash at higher graphics settings or cause drivers to reset frequently. Temps don't even spike much. Happening more as time goes on. Like other people have mentioned, the card is unstable. I don't think the hardware has capacity to run factory overclock without having issues.

Other Thoughts: Find a more stable version of this card if you are looking for a 560ti.
