5 out of 5 eggsBudget card works

Pros: Budget priced
Doesn't require external power
small

Cons: Not as per advertised. That said it is a very budget card. Pretty slow but has worked as intended and as advertised

Other Thoughts: One user has complained that Win7 and this card don't go together. Well I have Win7 and this card works great. Simple install first time so his problem was most likely motherboard related. Or a corrupt Win file?

1 out of 5 eggsStay away!

Pros: When it worked, it did the job.

Cons: Bought this 3 months ago because I thought my old card was causing blue screens. replaced MOBO,CPU & RAM and guess what - bad graphics card! I put my old Nvidiea card in and new system runs perfect! Now I see a bunch of bad reviews since I bought this in November. Now to get it replaced....

Other Thoughts: Not a gamer so I thought I was getting a decent card for I do but I guess I was wrong with this one. I tried different versions of Catalyst monitor since there's issues with that and even just the driver its self but no luck. Two days of messing around to find it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card for the price

Pros: Fast enough to play most games, small, and really cheap for the quality

Cons: Not many other then the fan and heat sink are kinda weak for the amount of heat it puts off, but hey i have a bad case might just be that.

Other Thoughts: i use this to play World of Tanks and the only thing limiting it is my connection.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for HTPC

Pros: I purchased this for an older friend who needed it hooked up to a 60" Samsung TV because he was immobile and needed to continue selling stuff on the internet to get buy. When I bought the card it was on sale and had a rebate. After the rebate I think I paid around $10.00 total. At this price I thought I was getting a very cheap card that could barley handle 720p-1080p movies (didn't originally purchase for this reason). I was extremely impressed with it's construction and heat sink. I have since set him up with numerous online movie programs (Netflix) etc and it runs all movies and misc graphic programs I have thrown at it. It stays cool, so I think it will last long. I would buy another right now for $40 if I needed one. It's worth it.

Cons: I dropped an egg for two reasons; it easily hooked up to my 56" Sony Bravia (plug and Play), I fought the 60" Samsung though for days (I think it was the ATI software and it being an older plasma TV, if this was my only issue I would have kept it at 5 eggs). Their rebate program is designed for you to screw up and if you dont screw up and get things right, you have a choice to pay $2.99 to get YOUR money back as promised (rebate) in about 2 weeks. Out of spite I didn't pay the $2.99 and have to wait up to 3 months for my rebate. This is "BULL" and should be noted before you buy it (and I don't mean in small print at the very bottom of some unseen contract you need a degree in law to understand). I am still waiting for my $30, I really wonder if I'm going to have to call. Why ruin a good product with this end game stuff?

Other Thoughts: Rebate program is designed for you to miss out. If this has a rebate, fill everything out the first day you get it. Don't pay their $2.99 rush payment fee if you can help it (it's BULL). I wouldn't conduct business in this manner in my opinion it is clearly DISHONEST. That said the card was still worth the money without the rebate. Other companies do this but if I had the same product and honest company "A" was selling it and gigabyte was selling it I would buy the one from honest company "A". Please note I am writing this from memory and am not trying to SLAM Gigabyte but I hope someone from the company reads this and brings it up at the next meeting regarding Standard Operating Procedures etc. Otherwise very happy with the product.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for me.

Pros: I was able to install the card just fine. Installed the drivers without any problem. I had absolutely no glitches whatsoever. I am running Win 7 on a 64 bit machine. It is an old Gateway that I bought in 2006 and it is still running great. I don't know why others had problems with this card, but it was flawless for me. I am not asking a lot out of it. I bought it because the onboard video chipset on my old Gateway couldn't handle Win 7 all that well. I don't use it for gaming or other high demand applications. Mostly just editing pictures. Rebate center said my rebate was approved and will be mailing the card within 8-10 weeks. I am crossing my fingers that it actually comes.

Cons: None - it has been working amazing for me. Rebate process seemed pretty painless if the card actually does come.

Other Thoughts: For the price it is a decent card. It is not a high end card by any means, but if you are just looking for a boost from the build in video on your motherboard, it is a good card.

1 out of 5 eggsYou will not get your rebate

Pros: Received card quickly from Newegg

Cons: Rebate was declined even though I can see all of my docs with the required documentation as they scanned them. Needless to say, I will buy no Gigabyte products with rebates.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't BUY!!! Card driver doesn't work under Win7!

Pros: fits well m-atx HTPC box. if installation works out well, the card does the job.

Cons: it's a pain to install the driver under windows 7, both 64/32 bit versions. if you load the driver and apps package that came with the CD, the screen will go blank and you have to boot into safe mode to uninstall the driver.

if this happens to you, (as it did 3 times in a row to me), you may have to manually install the card driver under the Windows 7 Device Manager.

i have tried 64 bit, then to 32 bit, and then back to 64 bit windows 7. you can imagine how frustrating it is. normally system takes 2 hours to build and install everything from win7 to adobe acrobat, but this one took me one whole day, just for the faulty driver.

FYI, windows update doesn't seem to find a better driver for this card as of 12/5/2011. you may need to check later, and i trust microsoft driver will work better.
