2 out of 5 eggsCard works but runs hot

Pros: Easy to under clock card! So I imagine it would be easy to OC the card too. Runs crysis 3 on full in Xfire setup.

Cons: I ran a pair of these cards in a full tower with plenty of space but they started idling at 90c. To keep them from blowing up Ive got the window open((its 60 degrees here) and a pair of box fans pointing at my case. With those precautions they now are sitting at 84/76.

1 out of 5 eggsOverheats

Pros: Not impressed at all with this card.

Cons: First card came in dead, second one runs extremely hot (85-95C) and overheats often. I have a SAPPHIRE 100351SR Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 that out performs this card hands down. It runs 10+ degrees C cooler consistently under the same load and conditions. I wish I could return an RMA'd item.

Other Thoughts: I wish I could return this item.

2 out of 5 eggsIts ok but totally not worth $400!

Pros: Exceptionally runs a good amount of games at max settings in tandem with an intel 3770k and a z77 chipset. But i was hoping to get much better frame rates than i did for $400.

Cons: I advise people to research as much as possible on benchmarks.Apparently i didn't research enough.Sadly I'm getting pretty low frame rates on certain games. A prime example is Crysis 3 at 18-19 fps in alot of points of the game. That's just unplayable to me.I updated the drivers with no improvement and made sure there were no bottlenecks with the system. The Voltage cant be unlocked. The O.C. software is completely useless. Not a single change w/o increasing voltage for stability. Not all games were included in the combo like stated either. A very disappointing situation.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly What You Expect

Pros: Great cards, easy to install, easy to setup with no gotchas.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I purchased two. I had both swapped in and running within 30 minutes, including driver installation.

5 out of 5 eggsawsome combo

Pros: Great card over all runs cool and fan are not noticeable I run the card on a Gigabyte G1 Assain mother board with 32 gigs of ram and am currently running 2 displays getting on average of 70plus FPS on bio shock on max settings

Cons: had a issue with compatibility on the G1 assassin motherboard at first but switched the first pci slot to boot in legacy mode in the bios and resolved the issue after 10 min of reviewing my bios settings. Would have been nice to see something about compatibility setting for bios before hand on either the motherboard or graphics card instructions

Other Thoughts: I noticed in celito's post that he was saying the card the card was defective but I doubt this as the issue was easy to resolve by doing a little reading. As for those that say this card cant be over clocked think again Currently I am not over clocking this card but do have the capability as I have already looked at dialing it up but don't have any reason to as my frame rates are better then I could have imagined in DCS A 10 warthog on duel displays or any other game I have in my library the bonus games were a plus as well just received my key code for far cry 3 blood island a cpl of days ago to bad its not as crisis or bioshock

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet, cool, and fast

Pros: Running flat out (96%-99%) bitmining, with an additional 100MHz OC, this card runs around 68C and the fans are barely audible even around 80%. A competitor's card, with a 100MHz UNDERclock, would hit 87C and the fans were obnoxious at 71%. Getting 650+ Mhash/s.

Cons: Long, and heavy. Either lay your case down, or support it until you get it mounted. If used in a small case like a Define Mini, the middle drive cage would have to be removed.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for bitmining, but will use it for games once the ASIC miners make GPU mining obsolete. Be aware that this needs 8-pin AND 6-pin PCIe power cables, although a system with an AMD 970BE showed 367W from my UPS while bitmining; games will use a lot less power. With this card, you may see blocky artifacts in Firefox; turn OFF hardware acceleration in Firefox, that's where the bug is, because other AMD cards do this too. I don't see any artifacts anywhere else (I tested some games on another company's HD7970), so I don't think it's AMD's drivers. I haven't had this card long, but it is so much better than the card it replaced that I wanted to post a review quickly. If you're in the market for a HD7970, get this one.

4 out of 5 eggsTo All You Haters..

Pros: If you bought this card and then realized after the fact that you cannot unlock the voltage.. too bad. I love when people jump on here just to complain about a bad decision and lack of reseach then reframe it as if the card is some how bad. Boo Freakin hoo. Theres a reason its $399 vs upwards of $500. All you hade to do was copy/paste the model # to Google and do a little research. Its called the Internet!! Im in the Matrix right now heeeelp!!

I am using this card solo on 3 ASUS 23.6" monitors in Eyefinity and its a Beast even without slightly overclocking it, which IT DOES btw IF, you know what you're doing.. Haters..

5760 x 1080 Widescreen with bezel correction::
Battlefiled 3- High/Ultra settings 35-50fps
Planetside 2- High settings 30-60fps
Mechwarrior Online- Maxed out 50-60fps
Skyrim- Maxed out 45-55fps
BioShock Ult. Maxed out 35-45fps
-Quite fan at 100%
-Only takes up 2 slots
-2 DVI
-Modestly Overclockable
On one monitor you can double those frame rates.

Cons: My only 2 complaints are all you lazy Haters (obviously) who feel the need to write a pointless rant then a fraction of the time in the first place doing your research and, to the Card itself,, It runs a little warm even with the 3 fans.. about 70-75c under load and overclocked slightly. YES, OVERCLOCKED TO: +65 core +145 memory 100% fan speed.

Other Thoughts: To the early few that felt deceived by Newegg or Gigabyte due to advertising, you're golden.. BUT, all of you that have had the chance to read over 100 reviews at Newegg alone, I dont feel the least bit sorry for you. Newegg doesnt put up a comprehensive reviewing system for you to use it as a blog. Stop wasting our time and yours. PEEEACE!

4 out of 5 eggsGood value for $400

Pros: Card is a beast, and very silent. I coming from a 5770 so the difference is very noticeable especially games that have latest drivers. I get an average of 90 frames on Far Cry 3 and over a hundred in bio-shock infinite on MAX settings.

Cons: I didn't receive FC3 Blood dragon coupon code. I don't know if its because it is not out yet. Blood Dragon looks like a good game so its upsetting.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: FAST, smooth, great rendering, beautiful

Cons: None... Are you crazy?!?!?!?!

Other Thoughts: You will need an active display cable/display converter if you want to use this card with 3+ monitors. This is not widely advertised.
