As long as the motherboard supports PCIE 3.0 x16 and your power supply is powerful enough (550W minimum) you'll be fine.  It takes 2 x 6-pin PCIE power inputs, but comes with 2 molex-to-PCIE pin converters if your PSU only has molex.

Question 2

So, taken from NVIDIA's website,

"Using 180 or later graphics drivers, NVIDIA graphics cards from different manufacturers can be used together in an SLI configuration. For example, a GeForce XXXGT from manufacturer ABC can be matched with a GeForce XXXGT from manufacturer XYZ."

My question is can I run this with my Galaxy GTX 670 GC 2GB???

I can no longer find one for sale that's reasonably priced

You can run any 670 card with any other 670 card of any type and manufacturer both as "equal" SLI as well as PhysX. I am pretty sure you can run any 6XX card with it too in full SLI and for PhysX only even different chipsets (like 5XX) should work.

Question 3

Are the fans pushing air into the card and out the back grill or pulling air through the card and out into the interior of the case?

The fans are pushing the air into the card but most of it does go into the case, not out the back. There is no shroud around the card so there is no "tunnel" effect like in other cards, where all the air gets pushed out the back. Instead they use their patented "triangle" technology or something like that where the cooler is shaped like a flat long triangle along the card with the tip towards the fan and the base towards the chip and the air goes around the triangle, from tip to base. Their web page explains it better.

Overall no issues at all with cooling since my case has a lot of fans and the fans on the card are massive and there is no shroud to trap in heat. That said I would call this a pretty bad solution since it pumps the heat into the case.

Also I paid $270 for this less than 3 months ago, now it says $420, pretty crazy.

I have on eof these,GIGABYTE GV-N670OC-2GD GeForce GTX 670 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card, it has been discontinued.what can I use to have another in SLI format, is there a new version that will work?

Any other 670GTX GPU will work in SLI with your current 670GTX. But do note that both cards will run at the lowest speed out of the two cards. And remember you must have a SLI bridge ribbon cable to connect the two GPUs in SLI.
