The GIGABYTE GV-N66TOC-2GD is designed to hit the gamers’ sweet spot with the latest Kepler-based GeForce GPU GTX 660 Ti, Gigabyte Ultra Durable VGA and WINDFORCE 2X 100mm Fansink equipped with "Triangle Cool" Technology. The GeForce GTX660 Ti is built for fast and fluid 1080p gaming in the latest DirectX11 and NVIDA physX-enabled games. Packed with all the Kepler features found in the flagship GTX680, GeForce GTX660Ti delivers the ideal fusion of power, performance, and affordability. And the gold plated, durable large area HDMI connector offers optimum signal transfer between connections. Nothing will stand between you and your immersive graphics.

  • newegg Ultra Durable VGA Gigabyte’s UDV board employs high quality components including 2 oz Copper PCB, 1st tier memory, Japanese solid capacitors, ferrite core chokes and lower RDS (on) MOSFET, resulting in 5% - 10% lower GPU temperature, 10%~30% better overclocking capability and 10%~30% less power switching loss.
  • newegg WINDFORCE 2X 100mm Fansink equipped with "Triangle Cool" Technology GIGABYTE introduces the latest exclusive WINDFORCE 2X 100mm Fansink equipped with "Triangle Cool" Technology to reach a better cooling performance. The latest unique technology combines fin with clip module in a special triangle shape. With the original anti-turbulence structure plus the new triangle cooling design, it enhances the efficiency of heat dissipation dramatically by minimizing the flow of turbulence between fans. Therefore, the WINDFORCE 2X 100mm Fansink equipped with "Triangle Cool" Technology design has 2 ultra quiet PWM fans and copper heat pipes to enlarge air channel on the graphics card vents and creates a more effective airflow system in chassis.
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.

1 out of 5 eggsDead after

Pros: Card worked great for almost 9 months.

Cons: Card stopped displaying video on all ports and was not detected by motherboard after nine months of use. Fans would spin but card would not show up on device manager. No display during bios start-up after initial power on.

Other Thoughts: To late for a return so I'm getting a new ASUS card. My ASUS Nvidia 470 is letting me type this now and it was installed for three years. I had installed duel cards using the 470 as a PhysiX engine and the 660 for display. Got home from work and the display was dead. swapped output tot he 470 and the display came right on. 660 was nowhere to be found.

3 out of 5 eggsA little Quirky

Pros: Quiet, good graphics. A large improvement over my GTX 295

Cons: A bit temperamental....I have crashes and freezes since installing this card. This may be partly a fault of my cpu, which is a bottom end i-7, but never had issues with the GTX295

4 out of 5 eggsGreat card.

Pros: Quiet, fast, handles most things with no problems, did I say quiet? Handles Skyrim on ultra with a nice ENB.

Cons: Weird overclocking, I had a PNY 560ti that overclocked easy but I can't really figure this one out for some odd reason. Random spikes that sometimes cause the occasional crash to desktop or lag.

Other Thoughts: Might pick up another one if they go on sale or if I get some extra cash.

1 out of 5 eggsUpdated review after 6 months:Disappointed!

Pros: It works until lag spikes or your game crashes.

Cons: lag spikes, random frame drops, random game crashes

Other Thoughts: Had this card for 6 months now. This is my first video card ever, so I did not know how to test it too well. I do modest gamin so I didn't notice anything too major for a while. Now after six months of ownership, I finally came to the conclusion that this card fails to perform. I've tested with several games for consistency and it's the same story every time; lag spikes, and game crashes. Restarting my games over and over is not fun! I don't know if I got a bad card or what, but I am not pleased. I would not recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: No issues with it, installed and worked from the beginning! Games look amazing, I'm maxing all the stats, although my CPU bottlenecks my system in PlanetSide2 when there's a lot of people/action going on.

Cons: None so far! It's 10 inches long which might be an issue for somebody's case, but not mine!

5 out of 5 eggsNot one problem

Pros: went from an ATI Radeon HD 5770 to this beast...no problems what-so-ever. I am currently running Windows 8 and the OS picked up drivers before I could ask it too... I DL the most recent from Nvidia anyway. Runs most of the games I play at over 130FPS....wondering how much performance increase I would get with a second one running SLI....

Cons: it wasnt free

1 out of 5 eggsBSOD Issues

Pros: Works fine in between sleep/Blue screen mode...which seem to go hand in hand.

Cons: Constant card recovery errors, and daily blue screen events when coming out of sleep mode. After eliminating bios & possible driver issues, card swaps revealed this as a bad card. I was past the 30 RMA window, so I'll be dealing direct with Gigabyte. From the reviews, this seems to be happening too often- thought I'd dodge this bullet...who's next?

3 out of 5 eggsaverage

Pros: can run any game without much problem.

Cons: laggy card. sometimes it will tear my screen.

Other Thoughts: so and so. if you are getting this card might as well go for 670 or 7950/7970.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: None.

Cons: I went through everything I could think of to get this card working good. I uninstalled previous GPU drivers from ATI, tried different Nvidia drivers (306, 310, and the beta 313 drivers). Cleaning out the previous drivers through a safemode boot and running driver sweeper to make sure everything was removed. Nothing seems to get this card running at good FPS. My 5850 runs slightly worse than this 660 ti, which makes no sense.

Multiple games that I play also get a slight "spike". The game can be running smooth and then all of a sudden, it will have a spike for half a second which completely ruins the enjoyment of the game. The spikes happen at random times.

I'm quite sure I don't have a CPU bottleneck as I'm using an i5 2500k 3.3ghz stock clock. I OC'd it to 3.8ghz to test if it was a CPU bottleneck that was causing the weird "spikes" and they still happened.

I decided to try and reformat my PC, maybe there was something else causing the spikes and low FPS. I reformatted, installed all my motherboard drivers, and set out to test the games again. Everything remained the same. The spikes and the low FPS were still there.

In the end, I get about 25 to 50 fps in most games. GW2 was unplayable. Turning my camera would cause the FPS to drop to 20.

Other Thoughts: Before I purchased this card, I was looking into the 7950. I think it might be much better than this card and hopefully I can get a refund despite 30 days having passed.
