The GIGABYTE GV-N66TOC-2GD is designed to hit the gamers’ sweet spot with the latest Kepler-based GeForce GPU GTX 660 Ti, Gigabyte Ultra Durable VGA and WINDFORCE 2X 100mm Fansink equipped with "Triangle Cool" Technology. The GeForce GTX660 Ti is built for fast and fluid 1080p gaming in the latest DirectX11 and NVIDA physX-enabled games. Packed with all the Kepler features found in the flagship GTX680, GeForce GTX660Ti delivers the ideal fusion of power, performance, and affordability. And the gold plated, durable large area HDMI connector offers optimum signal transfer between connections. Nothing will stand between you and your immersive graphics.

  • newegg Ultra Durable VGA Gigabyte’s UDV board employs high quality components including 2 oz Copper PCB, 1st tier memory, Japanese solid capacitors, ferrite core chokes and lower RDS (on) MOSFET, resulting in 5% - 10% lower GPU temperature, 10%~30% better overclocking capability and 10%~30% less power switching loss.
  • newegg WINDFORCE 2X 100mm Fansink equipped with "Triangle Cool" Technology GIGABYTE introduces the latest exclusive WINDFORCE 2X 100mm Fansink equipped with "Triangle Cool" Technology to reach a better cooling performance. The latest unique technology combines fin with clip module in a special triangle shape. With the original anti-turbulence structure plus the new triangle cooling design, it enhances the efficiency of heat dissipation dramatically by minimizing the flow of turbulence between fans. Therefore, the WINDFORCE 2X 100mm Fansink equipped with "Triangle Cool" Technology design has 2 ultra quiet PWM fans and copper heat pipes to enlarge air channel on the graphics card vents and creates a more effective airflow system in chassis.
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor quality.

Pros: None

Cons: Bought this in August 2012. One of the two fans was dead by January 2013. Won't buy Gigabyte again.

1 out of 5 eggsGood performance, BAD support

Pros: Adequate cooling. Performance on par with GTX 660's from other manufacturers.

Cons: Failed in less than 2 years. While i understand this can happen, the fact that 2 separate emails to the company have gone unanswered shows extremely poorly for their customer service. This was my first purchase from Gigabyte and it will be my last. I have just over a full year of warranty left and no way to use it.

1 out of 5 eggsThis card is awful when it's not great

Pros: When this card works, it is very good. The problem is that it has so many problems that it's hard to remember when it was good. Newegg has done me right for many years and I don't lay blame on them at all.

Cons: Blue screens, driver issues quite often and then 3 days before my birthday it just stops working altogether. I know I wasn't stressing it playing Fallout New Vegas. It has been one hassle after another since I got this thing. For awhile, I thought that it was just me, but now after reading the reviews here, I doubt that 100%. I wish that I had never purchased this card with all of the headache that it has come with.

Other Thoughts: How do I get this replaced?

1. Be sure the PSU is at least 450Watt.

2. Download and install the latest video driver from Nvidia website.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: Was not DOA that was the only good thing.

Cons: I have tried everything to stop the driver from crashing. Under-clocked, increased voltage, changed driver...etc. The card gives me 60 minutes of solid game-play then crashes. I have had this card for a year hoping that an update would fix the issues, but nothing so far.

1 out of 5 eggsUpdate after 1 year.

Pros: Absolutely nothing.

Cons: Crashes all the time, games freeze, driver crashes.

Other Thoughts: I'm not tech savvy, but this card was trash for me. I put up with it for a year, but it's the same story over and over: Games freeze and crash or drivers crash. I've tried different drivers but it does nothing. I feel like I never got to enjoy this card and it was $300...what a waste of money. Newegg helped me to send it back to Gigabyte once already and it seems like they fixed nothing...I just haven't updated anyone because I've been busy. Now it doesn't even seem to work properly with my monitor (I am using HD400 from my 3570K, it's sad). I don't even know if I am entitled to anything at this point, but would sure like hear something from Newegg, because this is ridiculous. Will stay away from Gigabyte for one more builds I have planned.

1. How strong is your power supply unit?

2. Are you running a fresh new Windows installation or pre-existing?

3. Does it make a difference by disabling the onboard graphics in Bios?

1 out of 5 eggs660ti fail...

Pros: Two fans

Cons: Crashes all of my games, single player or multiplayer during intense scenarios. 25-60 minutes of play. Display drivers consistently crash to desktop. This card is a brick.. Gigabyte Graphics card support is slow and read from scripty.

Other Thoughts: I stepped up from a HD 5870 2gb. I assumed it was something within my system. I replaced every piece of hardware in my tower thinking it was one or another to no avail. I've physically tried this 660ti in 2 other peoples computers over this past week with the same issue. This was my first gigabyte purchase and now my last. This card is complete garbage, it's a 50/50 if it works or not.

3 out of 5 eggsDriver Crashes

Pros: Not Sure, it got good reviews in computer the magazines
and was at the time the best bang for the buck.

Cons: I have had this Card Almost a year, overall I have been happy with, until I started playing Metro Last Light. I thought it was the game being a little buggy and from the game forums I saw other people (not with the same card) having game crashes, new drivers were issued and patches for the game too, but to this day I cannot play the game without it randomly crashing. The error always being a driver problem. I have the game optimized through nvidia sofware but nothing seems to solve the problem. I was having the odd frame rate problem with crysis 3 but no crashes. Now I am at the point of buying a different card, as this one is "old" in the hardware scope of things LOL. the best thing to do would be to buy another 660 card and SLI them, but's what's the point if the card is buggy?

Other Thoughts: not sure yet what to do.
Xmas is coming and maybe santa will fill my stocking.

4 out of 5 eggsCrashes Often

Pros: It's a pretty solid card that runs nearly all the games I want it to on maximum settings without a hitch (most of the time). I have it paired with an AMD FX-6100 (Item# N82E16819103962 on Newegg) and it handles pretty much everything I throw at it. Borderlands 2 with high PhysX can sometimes bog down when there's tons of particles flying down in multiplayer, but that's about the only thing I've seen slow it noticeably slow down below the 30fps mark and 99% of the time even BL2 is running at 60+. (Personally I consider above 60fps to be enough to look awesome, above 30fps to be enough to play with, and below 30 fps unacceptable.) Crysis 3 on maximum settings gets below 60fps but above 30 (barely), and pretty much every other game like Battlefield 3 can rock 45+ and often 60+. I use the 'NVIDIA GeForce Experience' to recommend graphics settings for games and I'm often able to run above the recommendation anyway (for instance in Tomb Raider I can leave the fancy hair effects turned on.) Any games older than the current generation run laughably fast and easy.

Cons: The problem is it crashes. Even in games with as low a draw as Black Ops 2, there is an error message of "display driver has stopped responding and has recovered." Whatever game you're playing will freeze, and the OS will recover but your game won't, you'll have to task-manager close your game and reload it. This happens with every driver since release.

It's an inconsistent problem that happens sometimes after 5 minutes and sometimes after 5 hours of gametime. Based off internet research I'm assuming the card is basically overheating itself.

Gigabyte offers an overclocking utility and using that utility and UNDERclocking the card back to 'standard' settings removes the crashing problem.

Other Thoughts: The sole reason I bought this card over other cards was because it was the highest clocked one I could find for a reasonable price on Newegg. If that's the reason you're looking at this card, then pick a different one. If you're okay with underclocking this card to make sure it stays stable, it is otherwise an extremely decent card, especially in a one-card system that isn't SLI or crossfire, and has excellent 'bang for the buck' quality.
