5 out of 5 eggsAmazing card

Pros: Out of the box runs great. No hiccups or driver issues. I've FINALLY been able to play all my favorite new games on ultra with no problems (Far Cry 3, Bioshock Infinite, etc) - it's really great to see what the developers intended the game to look like. It's also pretty quiet for suich a large card (I went from an HD 5670 to the GTX 660 - big jump)

Cons: Not much. I guess I could complain that it's not supported by Steam's "Update Drivers" function that's currently reserved for ATI cards... I do miss that. But that has nothing to do with the quality of this video card.

Other Thoughts: A lot of games have PhysX support which is great if you have a strong Nvidia card. I know it's kind of unfair for ATI owners - I have been one of them for over 8 years. But I do definitely notice a difference in certain details with PhysX. I'm happy with my purchase... VERY HAPPY ! ;)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat video card!

Pros: - Much more powerful than my previous 465 GTX
- Quiet, runs cool (40C currently)
- Cheap! If you happen to get the rebate it's even better!

Cons: The vibration noise mentioned by a few reviewers happened to me as well.

A solution is a small piece of doubled up electrical tape placed between the cross piece under the left-most fan enclosure (closest to the video ports) and the heatsink.

At first I was worried about heat affecting the tape but it seems to be doing well after multiple check-ups. The vibration noise has stopped completely.

Not a problem at all! Still would have liked to see Gigabyte fix it.

Other Thoughts: Buy it! Very powerful card for a mid-range price.

5 out of 5 eggsCode 43 **UPDATE**

Pros: Runs everything I throw at it on high
Relatively Quiet

Cons: None anymore

Other Thoughts: This is an update from my previous review (Titled "Code 43"). Got my RMA issued card, popped it in and it has been over a week and it runs like a dream! I figured I got a lemon and I am glad I was right!

4 out of 5 eggsGood mid range for surround

Pros: I only really bought this for the surround, as I don't mind turning quality down for a better fps in my games. If all you want is a surround enabled card with some mid range quality then this is great

Cons: If you're trying to get a really good surround setup with max quality this won't do. You'll need to invest some $400 in sli and/or better cards to get a good result currently

Other Thoughts: Honestly I thought it would perform a little better but I may have had unreasonable expectations

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Looks cool and the price was right.

Cons: The drivers on the included CD/DVD will not install. Every time I try to install them it acts like it is going to work and stalls on the progress bar; then kicks back giving no error codes. It just simply says: "NVIDIA Installer Failed"

I thought ok, maybe these drivers are old and don't support Windows 8(like it says it does on the box). So I went to the website, grabbed the drivers specific for this card(which indeed were several versions newer) and tried again. Exact...same...problem. Did a Google search and this seems to be a very common thing for NVIDIA.

So I have a great card with no way to use it.

Other Thoughts: - AMD-FX6300 CPU
- Crucial Ballistix Tactical PC-14900 1866GHz 8GB(2x4GB)
- Samsung 840 Pro 128GB SSD
- Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 mobo
- First install of Win8 64-bit on new build

I have always used ATI cards, but after having some problems with driver editions on my last bunch I decided to give NVIDIA a try. I've always heard they were much more reliable with hardware/firmware. I got to say though, despite the wonky drivers ATI puts out from time to time, they will at least install so you can USE the card.

5 out of 5 eggsFAST!!

Pros: Runs quiet, fast and smooth. No problems running dual 1920x1080 monitors. An incredible 'bang for the buck' graphics card.

Cons: I had previously read that there are serious issues with the latest nVidia drivers so I decided to download the 306.97 version (which others online were raving about); this driver seems to work perfectly for what I need.

Other Thoughts: Came with "Metro Last Light" coupon stapled to the packing list.

5 out of 5 eggsWork Horse of a card

Pros: Beautiful graphics, true colors, runs cool as a cucumber, makes games look phenomenal and can run everything so far with the highest settings. Have been playing games for 2 days now and the card is very stable so far. No crashes.

Fast shipping from newegg as always.

Cons: Driver issues. I am about 99% sure that this card has driver issues and is in need of a revision. Reason I say so is I am getting a horizontal digital ripple effect when I scroll through web pages and can even see it in some video. Not really bad but noticeable. It shows no effect in games and have not noticed the ripple during game play.

The reason I am 99% sure this is a driver issue is I had my new HD monitor connected to my laptop which has a GTX 280 (which only supports 720p) and there was no ripple effect whatsoever. I never saw the ripple effect until I plugged my monitor into the HDMI port on this card.

Other Thoughts: Still a nice card. Best I have experienced that's why I'm giving it 5 stars. Hopefully a driver revision will correct the slight ripple effect I am seeing.

5 out of 5 eggsThis isn't a high end card??

Pros: Great bang for your buck, plays new dx11 games nicely. I overclocked it a bit further (+45 to the core) and am currently enjoying Crysis 3 at 1080p with everything maxed out (except the AA, which I have at minimum) and nice speeds (occasionally drops down to 20fps, but runs the majority of the game at 35 - 60). This card is great value for it's price. Also, runs nice and cool... And comes with a free game! Metro Last Light :)

Cons: Can't really think of too many... It doesn't make me breakfast, but I can't really hold that against it... Can I?

Other Thoughts: My free game coupon hasn't showed up yet, but it is coming from New Jersey (I live in Ontario) so I'm thinking I'll get it today :)

2 out of 5 eggsCode 43 error

Pros: Ran great when it worked!

Cons: Only worked for a day :(

Other Thoughts: Installed the day I got it, everything ran great! The following day, it crashed on me after about an hour and then wouldn't boot to windows. Also, I started experiencing dotted vertical lines on my startup screen (Asus), but this would go away when windows tried to boot. Did some searching and discovered many other instances like this, with no real fix aside from RMAing, which I did. I will update this review when it comes back in. (fingers crossed)
