5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: 2GB and 4 display inputs for this price can't be beaten.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I'm not a very heavy gamer, so this review will surely be scoffed at by those that are. But this card runs the few games I do play masterfully.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: * Has multiple outputs (HDMI, DVI, D-Sub). One of the last of the dying D-Sub breed.
* Performs well.
* Runs cool.

Cons: * Took me a whole day to figure out how to make Screen-Tearing go away. Finally found a solution that works with any desktop environment running gnome-shell.
* No other cons really. Now that I know how to fix the Screen-Tearing glitch, I have no complaints (so no eggs were docked).

Other Thoughts: To fix the Screen-Tearing issue in any gnome-shell based desktop, add the following to "/etc/environment':
CLUSTER_PAINT=disable-clipped-redraws:disable-culling

When I found this solution, I was filled with blissful rejoice! Hopefully others will find this solution helpful.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk card

Pros: Cool look

Cons: No signal output, although the fan spins.

Other Thoughts: Was putting up a new system. Connected key components together with this v card, and found no signal to the monitor. Took out the vCard and threw in my old card, everything was fine. There was minimal guidance in the quick setup guide, and no user manual hard copy. Definitely NOT recommended.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing.

Pros: I bet it would work great. IF it worked great.

Cons: Bought the card, tried to play some League of Legend on it, frame rates drop from 60 to 20-25 FPS thought it might be driver issues, then installed the latest drivers for my Video Card and Mobo. It still drops FPS on LoL, tried playing Zoo Tycoon 2, FPS still drops when playing Zoo Tycoon 2.

Other Thoughts: Don't know if it's just mine card I ordered or if other people have the same issue too.

5 out of 5 eggsGood mid-range card

Pros: This is a great graphics card for the money. I can run BF3 smooth but I dont run everything on ultra. I average 60 FPS with no problem.

Cons: None that I can see.

Other Thoughts: Best bang for your buck video card!

3 out of 5 eggsPSU PSU PSU

Pros: Packaging is good- even the threads have a plastic cover for shipping.
Well designed cooling, with a solid heat sink and good fan.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for a good looking card. Fan is Darth Vader black glossy, and it's spiky on the tip. Nice style.

Cons: So far, freezing on post after installing. Upgraded my PSU to a 480W to handle the new graphics card, and foolishly ignored the requirement for a 12V current rating of 20A.

IT WILL NEED THIS. If below a 20A current rating on the 12V, IT WILL NOT WORK.

Other Thoughts: Don't make the same mistake: Get a decent PSU with a solid 12V current rating of MINIMUM 20A if you haven't already. (Easily achievable for around $40-$60 range.)

Nothing is more frustrating than getting in new equipment, getting it all hooked up, and wasting half your day-off trying to troubleshoot, only to realize you forgot a simple PSU requirement.

Hopefully this is the only issue. I'll post again once I get in my new PSU:

3 out of 5 eggsWorked great until...

Pros: It does exactly what I wanted. It's powerful and I can run the latest games at maximum in-game settings. Ports are accessible and worked fine.

Cons: If I crank up the card settings themselves too high, it bogs down performance significantly. It's a powerful card, but not quite THAT powerful.
It doesn't have a vga port, but with DVI and HDMI ports having all but phased VGAs out entirely, it's not that big of a problem.
I rated this a 3 because of one massive flaw. One month on the day the hdmi port did something unusual.
It broke. I pulled out my hdmi cable (which I use for multiple devices with no problems) and with it came a small portion of the port itself, rendering it unusable. I now have to use the warranty to replace it instead of the return policy. It's just a hassle. I believe this to be an isolated incident, though. I've honestly never heard of this happening before...
