Ultra Durable 2 design adopts the first class components, including Ferrite Core Chokes, Low RDS (on) MOSFET and Lower ESR Solid Capacitors for unmatched stability and durability during demanding condition. The card is open air designed so the better your case cooling the cooler the card, this makes it alot better for overclocking! Cons: None. Cons: None Other Thoughts: The HD7850 will max the WIN 7 Experience Index at 7.9 During the Unigine Benchmark Test, the card scored 1066 at 42 fps, with no Over-Clock. This card plays every game above 50 FPS. It came with 3 FREE GAMES! Came with Dirt 3, Bioshock Infinite, and Tomb Raider! And Bioshock And Tomb Raider came out just last month! Cons: My only con is that the card does not come with a DVI to VGA adapter. These things cost like $2. I don't get why they can't throw one in there. Luckily I had one from my old PowerMac G5, so I just took it off of that. Other Thoughts: Like Newegg always does, they ship their items in a Newegg box. When I opened the box, ALL of the filler was at the top, and the box the card was in was sitting on the bottom of the box UNPROTECTED! They should really make sure that they place things in the middle. When I pulled the box out of the Newegg box, the box that the product was in was damaged. This scared me a little. It runs everything I need on max settings. Cons: When I first installed it, the drivers out had major issues with the overclocking feature, and would make textures flicker in many games(Skyrim, Dark Souls, Battlefield 3) but they have been addressed and fixed. I upgraded to this from an OEM Radeon 7450 (basically a rebranded 6450) in an HP Envy h8-1414 along with a Corsair Builder 500W. The increases in performance are stunning. 1GB is plenty of VRAM for the vast majority of uses, and I use 1 monitor so having the extra GB wouldn't make much of a difference for me. Overclocks well, I currently have it at 950MHz with MSi Afterburner. Cons: None as of yet. Other Thoughts: In this price range, AMD just blows Nvidia out of the water.
