Pros: works great for my build cheap HTPC windows 7 pro, intell 2core E8400 cpu 2gb ram, 1080p tv Geforce GT610 driver ver 359.06 no gaming other than low graphics like browser games and Civ4 and great for streaming Netflix and Youtube.

Cons: Once I upgraded to windows 10 serious crashing this card is NOT compatible with windows 10 it may be ok with Windows 8 but DEFF NOT for windows 10 and this conclusion is arrived after spending 2 hours loading and unloading drivers while dealing with Nvidia support. they need to fix their stuff or Ill have to junk this driver Im glad I didnt pay more for it .

2 out of 5 eggsProblems

Pros: When It works, it works really good, I am not a gamer so, there are no issues in that regard

Cons: I am getting the following error on a Windows 10 Pro machine: Display driver Nvidia Windows Kernel Mode driver 355.60 has stopped responding and has successfully recovered, after a couple or so of these messages, my machine locks up and I have to reboot.

4 out of 5 eggsLet me run dual monitors but lowered WEI from 6.7 to 4.9

Pros: Needed a simple solution to set up a dual-monitor system at work. Didn't need a whole lot of performance because it's for a work computer running mainly MS Office apps, Acrobat, a web client app and some basic web browsing. Install was quick and software installed cleanly, then updated itself with no problems. So far it's been reliable and glitch-free.

For the intended purpose it is doing the job I wanted it to do, which is run an extended desktop across two 1920x1080 monitors, which it does seamlessly and smoothly without any problems whatsoever.

Cons: The original Windows Experience Index for the on-board Intel (single HDMI + Analog) graphics was 6.7 and now it's 6.3 for "3D business and gaming graphics" and 4.9 for Windows Aero. I don't really see the hit because it's a business computer; in my everyday working environment I see no difference in performance.

Other Thoughts: I have to add I'm not sure I even loaded the 3D drivers but I don't know what that has to do with Aero performance. If you're looking for a cheap, simple, reliable card to run dual monitors, this has been a good choice.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well for me

Pros: Good price and specs for a card in this price range

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a failed video card that I was using in a DVR build. I uninstalled the old card and driver, installed this card and booted Windows 7 HP 64 bit. The card was detected and Windows started to download then install the drivers. The next time MS Update ran, newer drivers were available so I downloaded and installed those. The card has been working fine for me.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not Buy this card

Pros: Low price $35 with $20 rebate

Cons: Spend hours trying to get drivers to load, cd that comes with it is useless, Nvdia site is useless, drivers fail, cannot load, wasted time money and effort. Google and see massive posts of people with same problem, doh to me for not checking before I bought this card.

Other Thoughts: Have been buying video cards for over 10 years never had a problem, always plug and play, windows xp 32 bit.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, cheap vid card

Pros: This unit replaced an aging, fanless XFX 8400 GS model that was starting to run really hot (~70C). Running Mint 17, this card was a drop-in replacement: popped the old card out, put the new one in and rebooted. The card drives a 22" HD widescreen monitor through the DVI connector and the difference in performance was quite noticeable: desktop operations are much snappier, even at maxed graphic settings. GPU temps are in the 40-50C range, which dropped the case temp by 8-10C. Can't speak to gaming performance since that's not my use case. For general usage, though, it's well worth the $35 (after rebate).

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've always been hinky about fans on graphics cards -- just another point of potential failure. But, modern chips run so hot that a fan is a necessary evil. We'll see how it goes with this card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for a budget build gaming PC

Pros: This little GPU is a great fit for my first budget build. I had the intention of using the computer for high school homework and light gaming. It was paired with an AMD aA6-6400k, and 4gb of ram. It can easily hit low-50's to high-60's on Minecraft with Moderate settings. I installed optifine (an AMAZING program for minecraft if you dont know) and I can get 70-130 fps easily on high settings (fancy, render distance 14, everything fancy) Overall this is just an amazing GPU for the price.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: It doesn't take up to much space or generate much heat.

5 out of 5 eggssmall card, great power

Pros: plays mobas (league of legends, smite, dawngate, infinite crisis.) smoothly at high settings.

handles FPS games such as battle field bad company 2, and Hawken and natural selection 2 with good frame rates.

Runs RTS games like warhammer 40k dawn of war 2 and endless space with little to no issues.

Cons: I honestly haven't had any issues at all, though this graphics card is rather small.

Other Thoughts: I've had it for about 3 months so far and I'm VERY happy with it's performance.
