5 out of 5 eggsMust have upgraded hardware

Pros: I plugged it in and it went well. With my water colled system and 8 core AMD CPU I have not had a problem. I believe that people that are having problems dont have the right hardware instaled, either they are trying to add this pumped up video card to thier older motherboard.
You just cant do that people! Not all hardware is compatible because all of it communicates with each other like robots, You don't tell it to communicate it automatically starts to talk with each other so it can work but if they don't get along your going to experience errors.

Cons: I only got one and should of bought the pair before they stoop making these. I bought them for $80 on Black friday in 2013. oh well wait until next Black friday then give this one to my mom.

Other Thoughts: I started with the CPU. (AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-Core 3.5GHz) It took a week to find the right setup.
(MSI 970A-G43 AM3+ AMD 970 +) and I knew I would need memory that can handle the extreme load so I researched these (G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)) Then of course every gamer knows that your Hard drive platters are obsolete!!!! Your system is only as fast as your hard drive so I ended up buying a SSD drive Ultra which boosted my speed actually quadrupled my system speed. So if your trying to use an old harddrive then try to buy an SSD drive asap and you will see a huge difference! Oh also if your monitor is not 1ms and doesnt have HDMI ports then forget about buying this card! Upgrade your external hardware and see a huge difference because the artifacts your experiencing could be your monitor that runs at 5ms which is horrible. RESEARCH gaming monitors they all run at 1ms eliminating ghosting.

3 out of 5 eggsA pretty good card

Pros: It's better than my old card. Runs bioshock infinite juiced with no aa at about 30fps

Cons: I bought this to replace my aging gts 250. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it seems like having 2gb of memory is too much for the hardware.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible decision

Pros: When it works, it works beautifully - incredible smooth graphics, very quiet.

Cons: It almost never worked with the drivers provided. AMD drivers caused incessant crashes. The only resolution was a daily uninstall / reinstall of drivers and hope that the card stayed on and operated properly.

The card operates very well, but AMD has destroyed ATI. Random website crashes (more than one tab open can crash this card/driver). Some days it would run at over 70fps in games, others (for no reason) it would cap out at 8 fps. Horrible. RMA'd back to newegg for general ATI/AMD incompetence.

Other Thoughts: Installed on i5 chipset 1155, 500W PSU, and Gigabyte mobo. Everything else ran perfectly - the card was just horrible to keep running at full clip.

1 out of 5 eggsDead on arrival

Pros: Fast shipping

Cons: Would not work right out of the box. I took to it a few different computer stores and it would not work on any of their rigs.

5 out of 5 eggsPure Amazing! (2GB version)

Pros: I had a Radeon HD5670 and this thing is night and day! It plays all games like Far Cry 3 , Skyrim, etc under 46c at 40 percent fan speed not sweating. This is running with an AMD dual core at 3.GHZ lol and runs like butter. I have Windows 7 Home 64bit with 4GB. This card has 2GB on board and is worth the extra few bucks vs the AMD 7770. This card is quiet! AMD doesn't like the fact the 2gb version is as fast or fast then the 7850!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: A few games the window wasn't really full screen so I had to select it in the game menu.

3 out of 5 eggsoh well

Pros: Worked for three days

Cons: Died after three days. Loud pop came from the PC and monitor went blank. upon opening the machine and inspecting, found the card itself had a large scorch mark on the bottom side of it and not only was it fried, but it took my mobo with it. NICE! So mad as this was my Christmas present to myself, basically ripped it all out and destroyed it with my ball bat. Oh well.

Other Thoughts: First time with a Gigabyte product. Most of the time with GPUs I go EVGA for Nvidia products and Asus for Radeon products. Maybe my last.

5 out of 5 eggsWithin range of expectations.

Pros: Excellent GFLOPS vs Watts. Runs games well with relatively little power consumption (85 Watts for this, vs. 175 for 7870).

Cons: Expect decent, playable frames on high-end games, not freakishly good like 60 fps or even 30 at max settings.

Other Thoughts: Plays Tera @ 1080p with other settings ranging from mid-max and frame rates ranging from 20-64. Huge improvement over the 6570 2GB which got 8-24 @ 1770x1000 and lower overall settings. The 7790 is also more energy efficient, having nearly 3x the graphics processing power at less than 2x the Watts. The ideal choice for a good gaming experience without spiking the electrical bill too high.

1 out of 5 eggsWasted my time and money

Pros: It looked great!

Cons: It shipped to me broken. The video card wouldn't power on after being correctly installed and supplied with a power source well over 500w. I'm already waiting on my refund which will take well over a week to get, and I'm sure I'll be the one paying for shipping. I'm not replacing a product that can't be handled professionally. I'll be moving onto the GeForce 650 Ti.

Other Thoughts: This product will probably be fine for anyone else who orders it, but one customer has certainly been lost.

5 out of 5 eggsBig card. Gets the job done.

Pros: Works.

Runs 99% of the games I play at very high-Ultra settings with a stable frame rate.

Was on sale for 139.99

Came with 3 new games. The card itself was probably only $40-$50.

Cons: It's pretty big, but that's something to expect.

Other Thoughts: Paired with 8gb Gskill Sniper series RAM, AMD FX-6350; runs Bioshock Infinite on Ultra with an average of 49 FPS and a maximum of 74 FPS. ( at 1600x900)
