4 out of 5 eggsDecent for Gaming and Great Graphics Card

Pros: I can still play my favorite online game for a maximum settings and decent fps like 30-60. I like the graphics card . Still worked after I accidentally shocked it with my finger.

Cons: Getting lower 30 fps on some games but still not a problem.

Other Thoughts: Pretty much a decent one and I wanted higher series. I even accidentally shocked it with my finger and still worked. There's pink screen but it's just one time and no need to put it in cons. I like Gigabyte. I appreciate their motherboard.

1 out of 5 eggsVery disappointed in Gigabyte warranty service

Pros: Affordable graphics card with low power consumption and heat (although the existing heat isn't exhausted from the computer case).

Cons: Terrible Gigabyte warranty service. The card went unresponsive forcing a system hard power-cycle to recover. Happened 4 times in a month. Also had frequent browser font corruption. Sent card for to Gigabyte for RMA service with full explanation of the problem and picture of the browser corruption. Gigabyte had the card for 21 days and claimed no problem found in their tests so they sent the same exact graphics card back to me.

I know it was the Gigabyte card causing both the above problems because they both vanished completely as soon as I put my old ATI HD 5870 card back.

Now I spent money to ship it for RMA and have an unreliable card that I can't use. Complete waste of my money as now I need to buy a new card that's reliable. It certainly won't be a Gigabyte card.

Worst thing was the complete lack of any communication from Gigabyte during the RMA process. I emailed them before the card was shipped back to me asking to please ensure they didn't just ship me back the same exact card but they went ahead and did so anyway without ever even answering my email.

Other Thoughts: It would be a very good idea for Gigabyte to improve their warranty service. Until they do, I won't buy any more of their products.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't Work

Pros: Price
Reviews are positive

Cons: I had the same issue as another reviewer:
"When I first put this card in my computer there was no display on POST just a black screen. I figured it was my power supply that was off brand 400W and AMD's website said that this card required a PSU of 500W or greater. So I found a good deal on a Cooler Master 650W PSU and switched out my PSU. Put this card in... Same problem, black screen no POST."
Unfortunately, their solution of updating the BIOS didn't solve the issue for me as my BIOS is already up-to-date and I already have a 600W power supply from Corsair.
I stupidly sent off the rebate before testing the card so now I can't return it to NewEgg. Just sent off a support email to Gigabyte so I will update with their response.

1. Be sure the 6-PIN PCIe power is firmly connected to the card.

2. Avoid to use any adapter or KVM switch.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Price
Runs games decently
Low power consumption
4 Outputs vs. the standard 3

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this card for a budget Micro ATX build. Used with an AMD A10-4100K and 8 GB G.Skill 1866 DDR3, as well as a Corsair SSD. I put this in a tower with a 450 Watt PSU, and it works like a charm. Official specs say it requires 500 Watts, but it's working fine for me, even with slight OC (haven't gone past 1100). Even with this, I was able to run BioShock Infinite on Ultra with a 1920x1080 screen and get an average 40 FPS, or 52 on High settings. Not bad. I haven't tried much else because I play most games on my Xbox, but everything seems buttery smooth!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value GPU

Pros: This 7790 has a very small form factor.

Uses very little power.

Runs cool and stable.

Cons: None for the price.

Other Thoughts: It won't max out AAA titles at 1080p but I never expected it to. For the money, this is an excellent GPU.

It should only get better when Mantle begins to be utilized.

5 out of 5 eggsBest performance for price

Pros: Farcry 3 on ultra 50-70 FPS. Haven't tried it on other games besides Borderlands 2 with PhysX hacked on, but its a great running card.

Cons: None that I have seen yet, but from past experience I know that the fan bearings will only last about 2 years.

After 20 min of far cry, temp was ~63C, and since my old card was running over 100C (to no noticeable ill effects) when I realized the fan bearings were gone, that seems reasonable to me.

Other Thoughts: Upgrading from ATI 5750.
System Specs:
AMD 955 Black
8GB ram
Some random $100 motherboard
520W PSU

Card gets a little more than double the FPS as my old card and after looking at Passmark specs that all ads up (1400 to 3000)

This card is currently the best card for the money out there.
The GTX 560 TI comes in close, but it's a $150 card, and I plead college.

5 out of 5 eggsFANTASTIC!!!!!

Pros: Great for the price!
Playing games on high and maxed!
Payed for mostly by gift card
On sale + mail in rebate at time of purchase

Cons: Not really a con... see other thoughts...

Other Thoughts: Got this card to replace Diamond AMD Radeon HD 6670 2GB DDR3 that was having problems playing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. When I first put this card in my computer there was no display on POST just a black screen. I figured it was my power supply that was off brand 400W and AMD's website said that this card required a PSU of 500W or greater. So I found a good deal on a Cooler Master 650W PSU and switched out my PSU. Put this card in... Same problem, black screen no POST. Through a little bit of research on Google, I decided to update my BIOS (Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D3V). After that, no problems. Card works FANTASTIC! I average about 55fps on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on max settings! My CPU is only a Pentium G860 as well.
Other games run great too! Far Cry 3 on high. Skyrim is maxed with HD texture packs. Borderlands 2 is maxed or close.
All in all amazing card for the price! Also I'm a huge fan of Gigabyte!

1 out of 5 eggsNO good for XP

Pros: Price

Cons: NO win XP support. Even had to have special unique drivers for Ubuntu.

Other Thoughts: I have been a Gigabyte advocate for yeas, but after this fiasco I am definitely looking at different hardware vendors NOW
