1 out of 5 eggsWorked great for 2 months.

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Crushed every game I threw at it.

Cons: I started to get green artifacts on the screen after 2 months. Then it reverted to 800 x 600 resolution and I coudn't get it to go higher than that.

Other Thoughts: It was nice when it worked.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Very good GPU.
It powers everything I throw at it on Ultra with AA on.

Cons: Can get hot but not that hot. Mainly in the summer it gets to 70c max but that's because it's summer! And it's like 90 to 100F here.
With my air conditioning on, it's around 62c.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Great handles games like BF4 Ghosts Titanfall. I use it for editing mostly and really quite and doesn't even get hot.

Cons: The 256 bit interface could get bumped up.

5 out of 5 eggsBest of this Model

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Great performance, handles anything I can throw at it with ease. The extra memory means the performance is top-notch. The best 770 card and likely the end of the line. The new 900-series cards can be had for $100 more, and that might be the end of these.

Cons: None. A little bit louder than others with the extra fans but hardly noticeable. When you are running it hard enough to spin them up full, all of the rest of your fans will be working hard, too.

Other Thoughts: The best of this model line.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat for a week

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Worked perfectly for about a week or so. Bought two of these and SLI'd them. Destroyed any game I threw at it.

Cons: Came home one evening after work about a week after I installed these to see a blue screen of death on my machine. Began troubleshooting, tried everything. I managed to get one card to work for a short time, but it also died. After another reboot to fix them, they began showing green artifacts all over the screen. Tried all ports, same result. Tried one card at a time, same result on both. I now have to RMA both of them back.

Other Thoughts: They work great if you can get them to work. I find it hard to believe this was a manufacturer fluke as both cards are now dead. I thought perhaps it was my motherboard/PSU, but I had an old Radeon 6950 laying around and put that in...viola, it works.

For those curious, I have an Asus Maximus V Formula motherboard with an EVGA 1200W PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsSerious upgrade

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Great card! Boosted my Windows lvl from a 5.9 to a 7.7. Runs pretty much every game I own at max or ultra (Pay Day 2, Border Lands 2, WOW, Diablo 3, Tom Clancy Phantom, Firefall). Not too big if you have a full tower, might be tight if you have anything else.

Cons: TONS OF HEAT!! I have a little 8" fan blowing from outside my case right now on it just to keep the temp to cool. Need to invest in new case fans anyway. Just be prepared because this puppy will raise your room temp a few degrees if steps are not taken to cool it down.

Other Thoughts: Great card for the price. I had SLI GTX 550 TIs 1GB each, this card smokes those well out of the water. Plan on SLIing this card in the future for **its and giggles.

Side note, I have two Asus 23" monitors on hooked to this. One runs at 1920x1280 i think HDMI output and the other is DVI at 1680x1050 or something.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing, but Loud

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: An amazing card for anything from multiple displays, image editing, or gaming. This will handle anything and everything you can throw at it for the next few years.

Cons: - Loud
- Enormous

With just a default install using vendor supplied software, this card runs its fans full out - ALL THE TIME. It is a great way to drown out ambient noise, whether you are working in an office, gaming at home, or sitting on a tarmac.

The noise is the only thing holding back a 5-star rating. This card is one of the best I've had. But after sitting next to the card for a few hours, my ears are seriously ringing.

I've heard that others have been able to use tuning software to bring down the noise. That's great, but out of the box software settings with idle usage should default to quieter operation.

Also be sure to clear room in your case. This is a huge card, but that is common for virtually all cards of this class.

Other Thoughts: Amazing card for latest games (2013/2014), large format dual displays, multiple outputs, and smooth picture rendering.

5 out of 5 eggsGigabyte GTX 770 4GB

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Had no problems during install except that it was a little longer than I expected. It still fit in a Zalman Z11 mid-tower case, but just barely. It idles at around 30-32 C, and the only game I have that gets loads above 60C is Watch Dogs. Runs at highest settings @ 60fps on all the other games I throw at it: SC2, LoL, DR3, Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands 2, all of the Arkham games. This card is an absolute beast.

Cons: None, and got it on a nice sale on Newegg too. $350 after MIR.
My computer rig:
Zalman Z11 case
AsRock Extreme6 motherboard Z87
Intel i7 4770k @ 4GHz
Coolermaster Hyper Evo 212
8 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133MHz CL9
Gigabyte GTX 770 OC 4 GB
Cosair CX650 power
OCZ Agility 3 - 120GB SSD
1 TB Western Digital Black HDD

Other Thoughts: I held off on reviewing this card to wait for my rebate processing. While it took them the full 5-6 weeks, Gigabyte did honor their mail in rebate. I would like to say this card is heat neutral; meaning that at idle it keeps to the same temp as the inside of my case and average of the CPU temps. It also did not change the temp of my CPU at all during gaming. It has been a welcome addition to my rig.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked fine for 4 months then the DisplayPort died on me

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Plays everything @ 1080p ultra 60+fps

Cons: DisplayPort port died on me after 4 months.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 Asus VE248 monitors.
One day after closing down a program one of my monitors says no video signal.

I tried the display port cable on both monitors. I even went out and bought a new cable (they aren't cheap cost me $20) assuming (and hoping) it was only the cable that broke. But no. My HDMI and DVI to HDMI work fine, but the problem is i have 2 other computers that I need switch between and now my main computer is taking up both of the HDMI ports on both monitors.

5 out of 5 eggssexy beast

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD VGeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Great card would trade it for anything else,

Cons: They fail to mention that it's a 600 watt card, and they only state the cards cooling systen watts. Its cool I just happen to have purchased a 1300 watt roswill continuous

Other Thoughts: Maybe you guys could look on the back in fine print where it states you need 600 watt minimum just for the card alone
