5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: this card is ABSOLUTELY amazing! it takes all of my games at 1080p maxes them and still 60 fps +. stays nice and cool and quiet untill the fans reach 40% they start to get subtly noticeable but i have a quiet build int the first place. low power usage! i have a 600 watt psu and it has no issues whatsoever!

Cons: large! this card is almost 1 foot long so not a problem for me but some people might find this hard. newegg was wrong this card takes 2 8 pin power connectors when it is said to take 1 6 and 1 8.

Other Thoughts: im not sure whether its a me thing or if its game optimization but literally everyother time i play NFS most wanted it gets frames below 30 but if i restart its fine, just keep that in mind.

5 out of 5 eggsGreate performance for the price

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Runs quite and cool. it will handle most games with the settings maxed out. it runs Theif and BioShock Infinite at there max settings with very little shuttering (30-60 fps). You get fare more performance for the price than the 780, 780 ti, and the Titan (theses cards are more powerful but significantly more expensive). this is a good card for the budget.

also works really well in SLI mode.

Cons: the card doesn't vent out the back like most other cards do. it vents out the sides. the card does stay cool but it heats up the case, so make sure that your case is well ventilated.

Other Thoughts: This is by fare the quietest cards i have found (unless you go liquid cooled) and highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and fun.

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: This card in my system runs Titanfall on ultra settings and the super high texture settings without a problem. I am currently running 3 monitors at 16x9 aspect ratio...something like 4800x900 without a problem. I did switch over to my 1920x1080 display and saw the same results. Great card for a decent price. I plan on purchasing a second card to boost my performance above that of a single Titan. I went with the 4gb card to hopefully last me 2-4 years.

Cons: This card is huge. Didn't fit in my case. It actually physically touched hard drive caddys when I tried installing it. I purchased my first full ATX case to fit this card.

Other Thoughts: Love it, totally worth the money.

2 out of 5 eggsCoil Whine = Sad Buyer

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: This card is fast. Very fast. Titanfall, BF4, anything I throw at it, with top settings gets 60+fps @ 1080p. GTA4 with amazing graphic mods, Skyrim with HD textures and weather mods, all run flawless. The card runs very cool (rarely tops 65c) and is very worthwhile at its current pricepoint.

Cons: COIL WHINE. I had never witnessed "coil whine" in person before, but this card changed that. There is an audible 'whine' noise depending on what is on the screen. The noise comes directly from the video card in my case. In BF4/Titanfall it is very quiet, but in older games that run at a very high FPS (Sims3) the whine gets LOUD. Enabling V-sync helped a lot (limiting the frame rate limits the noise) but the coil whine is LOUD AND ANNOYING.

Other Thoughts: This would be a perfect 10/10 card if it did not have coil whine. Annoying, loud, screeching coil whine from inside my case is not cool.

4 out of 5 eggsRuns all my games on max settings

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Runs every game Ive tried on their highest settings at 40+ fps.

Cons: Price
It only came with one game
The current game it comes with isn't really worth that much

Other Thoughts: I probably would've gotten a 780 instead of a 4 gig version of this if I had another chance at it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat performance, very cool, very quiet

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: After a week of use, this is absolutely the happiest I've been with a graphics card purchase. The card itself is well-built and feels sturdy. It's longer than it is deep, which is a very good thing since I've got a 120mm side-fan dedicated for GPU venting -- plenty of clearance inside the case. The 3 cooling fans are rated at 450 watts, but the card itself hasn't asked for more than 230; this means it stays VERY cool, even under load. I ran Titanfall at max settings for an extended session, and the GPU temp never broke 45c... that's absolutely marvelous. If all of that wasn't enough, it's a very quiet card as well. The stereotypical "whine" of high-RPM fans is not present here; instead, the 3 fans sound more like a dull "woosh"ing noise rather than a jet turbine.

All in all, a fantastic video card. The 4GB version is a nice bump from the 2GB version in a similar price band. If you can afford the incremental jump in price, get the 4GB card and future-proof your rig.

Cons: It's a long card -- this is a con only if you're trading length for depth. I had plenty of room in my full tower for the SSD, HDD, bay mounts, and this card fit just fine.

Because it's so long, there is a fair bit of flex in the PCI connector. Luckily, there's a little eye-hole on the far end of the metal housing of the card -- I just zip-tied this to the case and it doesn't sag anymore.

Other Thoughts: Don't underrun the card on power. It's rated to 450W, and factoring in 125W for the CPU and 25W for the fans, you're pushing 600 just for base requirements. My 650W bronze psu handles it fine, but I haven't overclocked anything yet. YMMV.

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Fast and powerful, expect to run most games on "highest" or "ultra" with relatively great frames!

Cons: Required a little tweaking here and there, but after the issues were dealt with I was extremely happy with the performance.

Other Thoughts: If you're having issues with the card try uninstalling and disabling nvidia hd audio from the device manager. I haven't suffered any issues since

3 out of 5 eggsConsidering the cost...

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-4GD GeForce GTX 770 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: a single card that replaces dual 560ti in performance specs, so far runs quiet and cool, but I haven't had the opty to really do any brute force testing except for Crysis I at 1080p with max settings, even then I'm getting 40 + fps
which btw: is even more scenic than I remember...

Cons: Considering the cost, you'd think gigabyte and others mfg's would bother to include the needed dual and triple sli connectors, a dvi to vga adapter. at least they bothers to include the power adapters

Other Thoughts: this card appears to be a well made card but due to the "economizing path " the industry is taking, I'm giving a low score.
