5 out of 5 eggsGreat GPU for the price

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Runs everything at 60-30fps in all modern games.

Cons: none that I know off

Other Thoughts: It would be best to get a 4gb for more memory unless your buying 2 of these.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is it.

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: If you're on the fence about buying this, stop. Buy it. Just do it. This is the GPU that you had in mind when you were making your budget. I got this card before I started upgrading my own PC and for a year it's been pulling the whole weight of the machine when running battlefield 4, starcraft 2, Black Flag and everything else I've thrown at it and keeping it above 60 on ultra settings consistently.
I could've treated it better than I have, I've kept it on rendering stuff over night and abused it and it hasn't complained one bit. I have had no issue with this GPU whatsoever and it has surprised me more than I care to admit.
It was also very responsive. I put it in, turn the thing on and off it goes.

Cons: My monitor does not have an HDMI port, and The GTX 770 doesn't have a VGA port, it only has HDMI and DVI, so it was a bit of a headache the first week having to order an adapter and everything. Should have done research.

5 out of 5 eggsOwned for over a year now

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: -Runs very cool
-1080p games on ultra with 60+ fps.
-Maxes AC4 with some setting tweaking (use nvidia's adaptive v-sync instead of the games) at a respectable 45+ fps
-bf4 on ultra at like 80 fps or something ridiculous like that

Cons: -could be a little cheaper now that the 970 is out

Other Thoughts: Fantastic card and I will probably get another in a year or two for an SLI configuration

Intel i7-4790K
ASUS Z-97 Deluxe mobo
16 Gig Kingston RAM
Verbatim 120 Gig SATA-III SSD (to be replaced by bigger Crucial one)

4 out of 5 eggsGIGABYTE GeForce GTX 770 2G

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: The first video card that i ever got for a custom build system and it works great. I just now have started to see games that want this card for recommended max setting so its still got a few good years left in it too. There are better models of the same card by different dealers but this one has a fairly decent clock speed even if the memory is low for a top end card. It also comes with software from nvidia including the geforce experience which is excellent at keeping all your software up to date and easy to use even for those who are not all that tech savy

Cons: as mentioned there is better quality cards of the same model by different manufactures but those will set one back a bit more so it really just depends on budget.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a beast

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Jumped from a GTX560 that was running at 90 celcius on BF4 to This beast barely capping 50 celcius. So much space to OC! Runs every game on Ultra. around 90 FPS ultra bf4.

Cons: THIS IS NOT A CONS: It's a big card, it got 3 fans. Heat is PC worst enemy, so being bigger and having 3 fans is more like a pros in fact!

Other Thoughts: Quiet, cool, runs smoothly

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Cards - Especially In SLI and at 120hz+

This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: This is one of the better priced GTX-770 cards on the market - which is odd because it's OVERCLOCKED at the factory and has one of the best cooling systems of any of the other GTX-770's.

This card will eat up just about everything you throw at it. If your still using a 60hz monitor, this card is overkill for you - but you will enjoy the solid 60fps you get. Where it shines is with 120hz monitors - getting you Framerates around 80-120 on ULTRA settings in games like Battlefield 4.

I was so impressed with this card that I purchased a second for SLI - and boy-oh-boy am I happy. Everything looks gorgeous on my 120hz Asus VG248QE Monitor (yes, this monitor is capable of 144hz, but since I dont get Framerates THAT HIGH in BF4, and since the human eye doesnt recognize anything above 120FPS anyhow - I keep mine locked at 120hz). Temps on my 2 cards sit around 30c idle and 55c under load. These are very acceptable temperatures! If your thinking about getting a TITAN, save money and put two of these in SLI (its cheaper, and your SLI cards will be FASTER than a TITAN).

I ordered my 2 cards 6 months apart from one another.. This is some info for the TECHIE-GEEKS out there:

1> The first card used memory chips by: Elpida
2> The second card used memory chips by: Hynix

Everything operates at the same exact speed, and was even able to SLIGHTLY overclock the cards even more with no problems or additional cooling.

I should probably upgrade my Seasonic 700w powersupply - but all is running fine on my overclocked I5-4870k overclocked to 4.3ghz. My system is running rock-solid-stable!

Cons: These are VERY long cards. If the power-plugs were at the end of the card (like most cards), they would not have been able to fit in my Antec 900 case. Fortunately, the plugs are on the side of the card - viewable thru the glass window of your case. Not PRETTY - but they are plugged in and working great.

Other Thoughts: When you do upgrade to a 120hz monitor, make sure you get one that is Geforce/Nvidia 3D Vision Ready! Your cards support it - so should your monitor! Play games and watch movies in 3D!
