VGA GIGABYTE|GV-N770OC-2GD GTX 770

Transform your game with the GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD graphics card.

Based on the latest evolution of NVIDIA GPU - GTX 770, this card is built around 1536 CUDA Cores, with 2GB/256bit GDDR5 memory clocked at the fastest-ever 7000MHz effective frequency.  It produces amazingly beautiful graphics and lifelike environmental interaction in the hottest DirectX 11 game titles. So you'll enjoy a new level of realism in your favorite FPS, RTS, MMORPG and RACING games. It's also factor-overclocked to 1137MHz Core Clock (std 1046MHz) and 1189MHz Boost Clock (std 1085MHz), delivering an extra performance boost when compared with the reference design.

GIGABYTE's OC GURU ll utility puts you in the driver's seat to take full control of critical parameters. Ultra-durable VGA design enables a lower GPU temperature, lower power switch loss, and higher overclocking capability. No need to worry about overheating: the new WINDFORCE 3x 450W thermal design keeps this card running cool and quiet, even though it's overclocked out of the box.

  • newegg OC GURU ll The brand-new instinctive user interface makes it easy to monitor and adjust all important settings. Users can set up MONITORING, GPU CLOCK, MEMORY CLOCK, FAN, GPU VOLTAGE, Memory VOLTAGE, OSD, ONLINE SUPPORT and update driver, BIOS directly.
  • newegg NEW WINDFORCE 3X 2 SLOT 450W cooling system Keeping the same two-slot 450W cooling capacity, the New WINDFORCE 3X 450W cooling system is equipped with two 8mm and four 6mm cooper heat-pipes, inclined fans, and GIGABYTE “Triangle Cool” technology. These provide an effective heat dissipation capacity, while the GPU Boost 2.0 technology enables higher performance due to a lower temperature.
  • newegg Ultra-Durable VGA Powered by the ultra-durable VGA technology, this card delivers enhanced overall performance you can see and feel in everyday use. The ultra-durable VGA card doubles the copper inner layer of PCB, achieving GPU temperature 5%~10% down. It also reduces voltage ripples in normal and transient states (achieving overclocking capability 10%~30% up), allows more bandwidth for electron passage, and reduces circuit impedance (achieving power switching loss 10%~30% down).
  • newegg Up to Four Displays on a Single Card Support up to four displays on a single card with the Kepler architecture. Satisfy your multi-screen setup, as well as your high-definition- and extreme gaming experiences.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 This brand-new technology allows gamers to push PC performance to the maximum with precise controls. GPU Boost 2.0 intelligently monitors work with advanced controls — including GPU temperature target, overclocking, and overvoltage — to ensure the GPU works at the ultimate performance.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing; at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this card

Pros: Easy to install, easy to configure, and works great!

Cons: Very big (make sure it will fit), many fans so has some noise.

Other Thoughts: I got this card two years ago for my first gaming computer build. I was/am very happy with it - and it still runs all my games on ultra/high. No problems at all, and I think this card is a great deal.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade for Price

Pros: Upgraded from a GTX580. This GTX 770 factory OC exceeded my expectations.

Runs Crysis 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Elite: Dangerous, BF4 all maxed at 1080p with no issues
Was more surprised with the massive performance and rendering speeds with 3D modeling/rendering apps that take advantage of cuda cores.

It also runs much cooler than my old 580. A lot cooler.

The Price Vs. Power ratio was great too.

Cons: Wish there was more in stock so I could SLI.

Really hope it doesn't fail with another six months of use, like other unfortunate owners.

2 out of 5 eggsit WAS good.

Pros: plenty of memory, fast GPU, and very quite.

Cons: randomly started causing my computer to BSOD after freezing it up and filling the screen with artifacts. so now i cant use it.

Other Thoughts: lasted for about a year and 1 month. now if you start the computer with it, once windows loads the entire screen gets filled with small pink squares (artifacts). using my 550TI fixes the problem.
i figure it might have been a driver issue, from the most recent driver update. but the 550TI uses the same drivers, and runs perfectly fine.

i couldnt even try reinstalling the drivers, as the computer takes about 3 minutes from windows boot to frozen BSOD if i have the card in. this, coupled with the low quality ive come to expect from gigabyte for expensive products, make me sure im going to stick with ASUS from now on.

1 out of 5 eggsFailing after a little over a year

Pros: Was great while it lasted. Ran every game I had at high/ultra 60 fps+

Cons: Started crashing randomly about a month ago. It's gotten worse and is now to the point where I can't play any games without crashing. Gigabyte customer support is awful. I've had a support ticket going for 3 days with no response. That is unaccaptable

Other Thoughts: The gtx 770 is a good card, just don't buy one from gigabyte. I'm probably just gonna buy an MSI GTX 970 and send this one off for RMA (if they ever respond).

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible

Pros: This monster is handling all I've thrown at it with flying colors, 1920x1080, high settings. Ultra might make it drop frames, but what's dropping 70 on Battlefield 4 to 60? Shadow of Mordor plays at high settings, without full AA swimmingly. 220FPS on CS:GO. I could go on.

Cons: None, I'm pretty satisfied with it. Wish it wasn't so much though.

Other Thoughts: running:
Intel i7-4770 3.4GHz
nVidia GeForce GTX 770
8GB 1600 DDR3 RAM
850W EVGA PSU

5 out of 5 eggsEDIT* Update

Pros: As stated this Video Card is everything you could possibly ask for unless you're willing to drop money for a 900 series or Titan but then why are you here looking at a 770?

Anyways, if you're trying to budget price to performance is absolutely great with this 770.

EDIT* I made a review earlier saying the HDMI port wasn't working but turned out I just had to click a couple buttons on my monitor. SO that said. my video card I bought is working flawlessly.

Thank you Gigabyte for an outstanding piece of hardware.

Cons: None whatsoever.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Video Card...but

Pros: You get what you buy. And when you buy this GTX 770 the price to performance ratio is great. (If you're trying to budget yourself)

Cons: Unfortunately the graphics card I recently got the HDMI port isn't working. Otherwise this would have gotten all five stars.
